    TERRIBLE - Students still waiting for router to be sent after being assured we'd be online in a week. This was the 3rd October. We've been sent a text message saying we will go live on the 28th which for a house of students who didn't want a 12month contract really in the first place but were told this was the only way, and who need internet for studies and deadlines its been a nightmare. Their messages say things like "the current customers at your future property requested a change in date" when we've been moved in since September. Full of lies and the service is a joke.

    Cant wait to leave sky after so many years, sole cause is the internet, is it possible to have worse intenet then sky? Dont think so. Slow, No range, completely pointless in paying to use such an awful service and phone reps are so unhelpful.

    Absolute sxxte. Most days it goes off 2-3 times but when working from home or doing work over the weekend it's pretty much on and off all through the day or stays off for a good while. Seems to be a habit or trend in the system.

    I've been with Sky for only 2 weeks & I can't wait to leave.... My broadband doesn't work, they blame openreach (the uk phone liine owners) for this, but refuse to tell me what the problem is, tell me that I'll just have to wait another 2 weeks & in the meantime they keep billing for services (telephone, broadband, multIroom, boxsets etc.) which can't be used due to their failure to deliver broadband.

    Got an appointment in 2 weeks time, the engenier will come any time between 1 till 6pm, asked a day off at work to be here. The egeneir shows up check the house around, check the front of the house, and decided that he cannot do the job cause he has not brought the cable that he needs or the ladder. Call Sky and they said that we will have to wait 4 more days to get a chance to get another appointment for the next 3 weeks. Like seriously?

    Sky have tone the worst broadband company going we continue to ring them all the time on how bad our internet speeds are and they do nothing , or suggest ideas which we have done about 50-60times before, I urge you not to join sky

    Very slow.Even the mobile internet will beat the fibre internet speed. Very worst and really disappointing . Waited so long for the internet and end up with disappointment.

    We got our sky TV,phone and broadband in October 2015. From that time the broadband keeps dropping. Had around 6-7 engineers from sky and BT they fix it and next day again. Till now having problems. The WORST broadband ever.
    I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND SKY TO ANY ONE!!!!! BE CAREFUL DO NOT GET SKY. THEY JUST TAKING MONEY!!!!!

    Absolutely terrible broadband & customer service! Take 20+ Minutes to get through on phone, they pass you around from person to person, call lasts more then an hour, the wifi signal is choppy and all they do is offer crappy booster..i have had ALL types of problems with sky for years!! im looking into virgin or something similar. Ive truly had enough!!

    I never experienced the 10mbps speed or even near it dl speeds that is part of the contract, apparently the speed in our area average is atleast 400-600kbps (do the maths).. first month was dreadful as we got our connection cut off for 1 week.. there after connection was pretty much unstable.. the 1 star is for the customer service.. not the actual boradband service

    Appalling customer service with Agents who haven't got a clue what they are doing. After almost 10 years loyalty to Sky I will never use their service again. Absolutely shocking!!!

    Horrible , Please if you are lucky to be not with Sky , please do not ever go, It read these reviews too late and now I am sucked with no internet more than a month. Their staff has no knowledge and they like to blame everything on open reach or BT. We have moved our house its been more than a month they are telling us everyday that you internet will start within 24 house. Shameful service. PLEASE NEVER EVER GO FOR THIS SUPPLIER , I BEG YOU , YOU WILL GET STUCKED WITH BAD SERVICE AND PAYING CRAZY MONY FOR NOTHING.

    Honestly terrible service and avoid at all costs. Customer services completely messed up my account and specifically told me to give my personal details to another person who was accidentally linked to the account by sky. Utterly useless and rude customer services.

    This is the worst broadband and company so far. They will charge you for service you are not enjoying. My broadband is not working and they said I would have to wait for when the engineer will be available and I will still have to pay for the period the broadband is not working. And they agreed the fault is from their side. I will never advise anyone to subscribe to sky

    Slow, unreliable and a total waste of time. This is the worst broadband Ive ever used and the connection drops out every few minutes making it useless. Do not use, do not do it no matter how cheap the cost is because you will pay!

    Absolute garbage. We have contacted Sky for an engineer to sort out or check our problem. Instead we got someone on the phone making up excuses and giving us the most basic advices that we have been trying for months. Sometimes my internet goes down to or below 0.5 mbps, that's ******* awful. My avg speed is about 6 mbps. The people at Sky blame us such as saying "don't put your router next to a phone, radio or below" despite the fact that when we had an engineer set it up, he set it up the way it should and already told us this but even then our wifi is beyond garbage. The router is above facing everyone in a free space so why is it still so ****? Because its ******* SKY!!!

    The worst network provider I ever had service keep drop down day and night
    I had to call the nine times in two weeks for the same issue and it didn't sorted yet cheap Customer service so many slang words rude attitude will never go back to them

    I can't even comment on speed or reliability because we requested internet in May of 2015, and just now on July 28th has Sky finally gotten a line put in at our house. It has been a nightmare, and I haven't been able to see my new husband's face in two months.

    Matt requested a Sky connection in May, and it was going to take them over 15 days to get a tech out to set up a line to our new townhouse which just finished construction. He had the appointment set for the day after he returned from our wedding in America, and let them know that while he was away in the states to please contact him by email. There was no contact and he returned and waited on his appointment day. No one showed up.

    Turns out they called his UK phone instead of emailed to let us know that because the Counsel changed our post code from 8PY to 8PZ they couldn't set us up in their system. He asked why they didn't email like he asked, as he could have rescheduled. Their customer service shrugged it off as if they actually tried and we should just be happy with nothing.

    Then he couldn't reschedule an appointment because they cancelled his order. He had to start a whole NEW account because of the change of letter of post code. Which means another 15 days to wait for a third party to connect a broad band line as they couldn't schedule until after the 24th of June. In the mean time, I'm stuck in America waiting on my Visa and not able to see my husband over Skype. I attempted to LiveChat in to their customer service (since I don't live in the UK yet and can't call) and their first chat representative just sent me a canned response and said they couldn't help and that I had the wrong department and disconnected the chat. I WORK in a call center and online chat help. You could have simply hit one transfer button and connected me to a representative who COULD help, rather than just throw you hands up and say screw it. Then I chatted back in and actually had one helpful rep who explained the third party system and that they have to set up appointments once a month with them? Which sounds rather silly considering Verizon Wireless over here state side can take care of everything in less than a week. Meanwhile, Sky is still more expensive than Talk Talk and not willing to budge or even apologize. Maybe because they have a monopoly on our post code for broadband at this point.

    So the second appointment comes and goes. Matt took off work. They were supposed to "rush" our appointment. A tech DOES NOT SHOW UP. Sky does not call us. Matt phones Sky. They said "Open Reach should have contacted you" (the third party that hooks up lines). Sky told us they couldn't reschedule the booking until they heard back from Open Reach. So Matt calls them again on a Tuesday two days later, hoping they would have had contact. Sky STILL says nothing. They said they would call Matt on Friday with an update, they didn't. Matt called Sky, they said they would call on Tuesday. Tuesday comes and they said they need to CANCEL the whole order and redo it again, no faster time, no expedite and another two weeks of waiting. The phone rep (also a Matthew) said he understands the frustration and would speak to his manager about putting account credits on for the inconveniences. Nothing happened.

    So after another two weeks of waiting, the technician arrived but there was a delay notice on the Sky Account. Matt called to see if things were OK. The phone rep Ashley said yes, and Matt inquired about the account credits. She said they "don't offer compensation for third party problems" which is a cop out excuse. He asked to speak to a manager, and they were "busy". No apology, no sympathy, no attempt to make things right by the customer. The manager was supposed to call when he was free. We are still waiting two days later.

    I work in a customer service call center and this is bollocks. This kind of crap is piss poor customer service and unacceptable. I'm just waiting until I move in a week so I can call them and give them an earful, and switch companies as soon as Talk Talk is available in our area.

    Most of sky's products are great the sky comes is great unfortunately I can't say the same about the WiFi it is the worst WiFi I've seen in a minute it is dodo it is **** I hate it do not use it a I could get better WiFi from the if I used any other company please fix

    Can you believe they have the audacity to take the full price of our money, but can’t even sort their internet out yet again. Literally last week there was a big outage and went down again, I’m sick of them and will be leaving them. Take my word they’re greedy and couldn’t care less about providing you “the best broadband”

    They would raise the bill every year, Internet speed was only 1mps as normal. After midnight the signal would drop off completely. We never got any rewards whilst friends did. We just gave up in the end as we could not use it. Customer service was from India

    for gaming sky is actually the worst I'm playing a game right now and I cant believe how bad it is I'm on a constant 400+ ping and we have just upgraded and there saying there is nothing they can do its unplayable my pc has brand new parts and is top of the range.

    Not at all impressed .we have been with sky for ages. Lately internet has been unstable for like 4 weeks and still nothing is being done about it. We have called them twice and still waiting for a part they are to send is to improve our internet. The first lady apparently forgot to lodge our complaint and even after the second phone call they haven't done anything . You wait like 35 minutes for someone to pick your call.
    So frustrated!!!!!!!
    Need to look for some other provider.

    Absolutely awful, save yourself a LOT of aggro and go elsewhere. Sky decided to cancel my phone line when I moved provider which means a) I have to pay £130 to have a new line put in, and b) it has been a difficult and time consuming job to sort it out. Have had a phone line for 30 years and never encountered this before and it seems quite malicious on Sky's behalf, for no good reason, I was never rude or abusive towards them. In hindsight I would not have moved to Sky and won't ever go back.

    It is not a trustworthy company. Sky has increased the monthly payment during the minimum term contract. Customer service is awful.

    I wish I didn’t go to Sky. Their service is awful. They said they’d send an engineer between 12-5pm today. We had to cancel a long awaited medical appointment, and they also said he’d phone before he came and he didn’t turn up!!! This service is pathetic!

    I cancelled broadband 12 months ago and received pre packaged envelopes to send back equipment which I did. I have now just cancelled TV and Sky are saying I still have a booster I didn’t return and want to charge me for it. Very aggressive people on the phone suggesting I need to show proof of return from 12 months ago. I explained to them that when I cancelled it said to return within 30 days or I will be charged. I returned but if I am supposedly missing something why did they not charge me then?
    Very unhappy, sounds like another scam from a big organisation just flexing their muscle to rip people off!

    I had boardband connection problem since end of May, connection always dropped, tried to contact sky to solve the problem, spoke with their customer service in the beginning of June after queuing for nearly 1 hour, problem had not been solved, then from last Friday, I also used their message service, I spoke with more than ten people till now, Sunday evening, everyone just ask me' would you like me to  Troubleshoot  to find out the problem today with your Internet ?' After I answered yes then no response . Later it bacame a new person ask same question then disappear again. Never use sky. I try to leave as I got no connection for such long time but they said unless they found the problem, I cannot leave as my contract has not been finished yet, I think I have to pay the money and run away. My contact says that they will provide me boardband but they did not. And they refused to give any compensation. They got problems few times last year and there was no connection for the whole area for a whole day, they didn't even message us to tell us.

    Ever since joining sky 9 months ago i have had broadbnd connection issues. They are very hard to get through to and basically anrent interested in fixing any issues. Just send people in circles messing about with resetting routers rather than send someome out or actually providing a service. Im just counting down to end of 12 months and then hopefully can find a reliable service. Its been a difficult time without internet access

    Can't get it to stay connected WiFi rubbish and booster box won't connect been going on 40days now all you get is turn it off and reset It then the mini boxes won't con et looking for a different provider

    Sky is sooo bad i used to have the normal one used to have awful speeds now upgraded to fibre and its still the same no change.
