I've been with Sky for three years and moved home with them once. In three years I had a few service drops but in general the service has been good and the speed is alright. They are available on the phone. I am happy I've had no issues with it working from home since March. |

Ordered Sky Broadband for a Property I purchased. 3-4 days later I get an automatic text message and email stating that "I need to call them to discuss an issue with my order". Once I called and finally got through the horrible automated system that didn't want to transfer me as i'm "not at risk". One of their advisers told me that my order was not successful and I'd need to do it again and they couldn't switch it on on the date I was promised. |

Terrible. I have been without any broadband for a month now. Sky sold me a G Fast upgrade but it never worked. In fact I was told by an Openreach engineer we were too far away and it sht never have been installed. We lost our original super fast connection and have been waiting four weeks now for it to be resolved. No urgency shown in resolving the issue. I don't think I ever received a proper apology either. |

Awful reliability. Connection constantly drops. Virgin never gave me issues but they had poor channel selection for the price of a broadband and tv package. And Virgin creep up prices all the time. So tried Sky. Sky TV is great bu their broadband sucks. |

I had a conversation which ends up arguing with Sky customer service and their complain department. After 4 year having broadband with them I realized the have no respect for customer. Please think twice before choosing Sky,as they dont worth it. |

This is absolute garbage! The internet goes off for no reason when I never even touched it I can never play or watch tv or do anything with this stupid broadband! The customer service is absolutely terrible! They never help, all they do is say it’s fine when it’s not and worse is we phoned them up and the man told us the few steps to make it work and then the next day it was worse then before! Want a so called broadband that never goes on and then the costumer service is completely helpless and your stuck with no internet and money for weeks?! Then get sky broadband. |

I have been a sky customer for many years. I moved house 4 months ago , got set up and the engineer told me one of the boxes needs hardwiring . After 2 engineer visits I completely had had enough of sky . From customer services that don't log your problem correctly to the overall communication within the company . The download was that slow we couldn't even watch a 4 k program.Upon cancelling my broadband after explaining how appallingly I'd been treated , they weren't even bothered . They have also lost 4 mobile phone contracts as all of my household was going to switch to sky . I'm that angry with sky , the TV will also soon be going. |

I've been with sky broadband for a few years now. The connection is very slow and they lied about how fast it would be - I've put up with that. The main problems are the lack of reliability and their complete lack of care for the customer. |

Can't wait to leave my current houseshare as it means I can finally ditch Sky broadband. |

Complete garbage. Have the essential package of 14 - 20mb because although being in the town centre next to the exchange fibre isn't available. Coincidentally i only receive the guaranteed minimum of 11mb. Can barley watch a youtube video and cant play games whilst being an avid gamer. No solution given when attempting to resolve and potentially upgrade, no help at all given to point me in the right direction. Genuinely the biggest piece of **** iv'e wasted money on. |

When it works it's not bad. With mine, if I'm working on the computer and another member of the house hold use the broadband, the timelag for my computer is huge. The broadband also goes off/on daily for an average of a hour, especially during a working week, so while I work from home it gets quite annoying. |

Paying for a supposedly guaranteed 60Mb. Not receiving over 25Mb. 4 engineer visits later, still the same. Trying to speak to someone from Sky virtually impossible. Wifi regularly fails, meaning working from home only possible by tethering to my 4G phone... |

Would give 0 stars if possible. Just the most horrible customer service I have ever seen on earth. First, I couldn't even contact them properly due to Covid-19. My point is, if you are having troubles with lack of staff, simply don't book new customers in. It took me one month and a half and 3 engineers visits to get my internet set with Sky. THEY WERE NOT ABLE TO SET MY BROADBAND. After every failed visit I had to wait for 2 extra weeks since they informed me they were not able to contact Open Reach, which is RIDICULOUS of course. After the third visit that didn't work, I called them again and one of the attendees simply CANCEL MY ACCOUNT without I have asked for it. Actually, the lady was offering to cancel my account, and even though I said that I'd rather had the internet fixed, she cancel even though. I only got to know with an automatic e-mail that my order had been cancelled - but ironically this lady made me a big favour. Another thing Sky does is to send you automatic e-mails/ replies that has nothing to deal with what you have just discussed on the phone - which makes it really confusing. After my account has been cancelled, I immediately change to another supplier. Although, I still not have internet due to a fault on my line and I am aware it is a complicated issue, the new supplier is able to contact Open Reach many times, explain the situation and what the engineer has told me. Also, they are able to give me priority access since it is the 5th engineer visit already and it is a issue that concerns both companies. So my only advice would be never never never choose Sky, they are simply terrible. |

utter appalling. Bought a WiFi booster to try and improve the reception but no different. They promised me 53mbps but when I go on comparison sites I'm lucky to be getting 22mbps. Rang Sky and they said not to trust the comparison sites!!!!!!!! Sky claim its the speed going into the house not the WiFi reception indoors, never heard such rubbish. If I move outside, which is 6 metres away from the router, I lose all signal and thats in a direct line from the router with no obstructions. Currently got 12 months of an 18 month contract to go so can't move yet. My sister-in-law is experiencing this problem. I would avoid these like the plague. Cannot wait to move provider. I rang to complain and because I do not pay them £5 per month wifi guarantee (they already get over £100 a month out of me) they won't entertain my complaint. Utter rubbish broadband provider |

Broadband connection is stable but WiFi is totally unreliable. Every two weeks or so it degrades and the problem is you never know when it will happen. I have invested in Ethernet cables to get over this as I am tied into a contract but can not recommend this provider. Calling support is useless as they just run you through a script which gets you nowhere. Scandalous really that they get away with this |

Worst company I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Most unreliable internet, which cannot be fixed because they possess the absolute worst customer service. If you have another internet provider option, take it. I have never held so much hate in heart for another company. |

the internet basically only works "normally" about 40% of the time. and by "normally" i mean at 3-ish mbs upload, aka slow. customer service is poor, when called they had no solution. internet drops out for no reason, forces me to manually connect or to manually reset it. takes you to their stupid website when you're forced to reconnect via them instead of just being a normal internet provider. |

I'm supposed to be getting 60mbps-70mbps but I'm actually getting 17.8mbps. Paying the highest package for "superfast". It cuts out at least 4 times a day and takes 20 minutes to re boot. Would not reccomend to anyone. |

Incredibly slow internet (literally struggle to send emails with 3mb attachments), regularly lose connection even when plugged directly into the router. Customer service then told us that this was normal and the reason it was slow must be because there are wireless devices in the house, whether they're being used or not. So, literally, their service is so bad that you would have to completely disable all your other wireless compatible devices if you want your internet to work at a regular (still slow) speed. At least according to their customer service. No solutions offered other than that, or paying a bunch more for month with no guarantee that it would improve. Avoid them. Have only used Plusnet otherwise, at my previous flat, and that was totally fine. Similar pricing, and didn't struggle to send emails. |

Yeah, in line with other reviews here, very slow speeds (and I mean very slow - less than 1mb in the center of Edinburgh!). Added to this, very expensive and not always notified when prices increased. Currently waiting for new provider - can't come soon enough. |

I never, ever leave reviews. I feel I have to in this case because the service and value for money from Sky is so appalling. Speeds between 1 and 5, nothing wrong with the line, engineers visits etc etc. Luckily, I'm not contracted to them any longer so am switching - I've been with them for 10 years and realistically the service has been poor all that time. More fool me. Very very stressful when trying to work from home. They don't give a fig. Do yourself a favour genuinely, don't go with Sky. |

Reported a fault with the line 10 days ago and after 10 days and several calls I was told Open reach had fixed the line when in fact it has not been fixed. |

Dreadful - their wifi router is the slowest and has a range of around 5 meters. Upload speeds are just dreadful, I could hand write stuff faster... |

If you're thinking of going with these bunch of crooks, then do yourself a favour and go elsewhere. Upgraded a few months ago to superfast or whatever they want to call it, and speeds are intermittent at best with speeds lately of under 2 mgbs at times and we live a stone's throw from the exchange!. According to their measurements I am getting 80 consistently! A pack of lies and they know it. My daughter in Manchester has got exactly the same issues after also upgrading. Dishonest and disgusting, but they don't care. Avoid, avoid, avoid! |

Conning and ripping everyone off for their shoddy speeds, reliability and customer service. Consistent drops in connection, lagging when gaming, or video conference calling. Speaking with their customer service is pointless (turn it off and back on again). As soon as the contract is done, I'm out. If you're in London, avoid. |

The worst internet I have ever experienced. It is impossible to even just browse social media at times which and trying to play games online is again much of the same with constant ping issues and lagging all over the place makes it not worth while attempting to play. |

the worst supplier i ever saw in my live router not even reach first floor ( i got the best router from sky by the way) and now they just rise price from 22,99 to 42.99 so grab the bargin for 20mbps for 42.99 |

Not going to choose this broadband again. After 6 months of contract they decided to change the price, even though the contract was for a year. Is it even legal? The speed is not so good if everyone in the household use their computers - 3 of us overall. Not convenient if working from home. Choose something else. |

Erika | London | Sky | 2020-06-16 | |
Awful. WiFi Cuts out all the time and with my fibre package, I only get 0.3 - 4 Mbps. Honestly terrible and wouldn't recommend. No one wants to fix it because they say its running at full speed but multiple speed tests say different. Switched from them and I'm not looking back |
