Awesome service. 13Kb/s here all day every day. Can get a bit slow when downlaoding big files @ 1.14 MB/s and surfing but that's fine. All day everyday local calls to 01,02 and 03 and a lot of country's worldwide thrown in. Netgear router at first was awful but now got Skys Sagem F@st 2504 and never looked back. Been with Sky for nearly 20 years, no need to change. |

Never had anything but amazing service, and so much better than Talktalk was. Constantly receiving over 30meg download and no sign of slowing. My only criticism is the rubbish router, but you can get around that by bridging in your own :) |

I moved from Post Office (Talktalk)following dreadful service and bought the Sky Fibre BB and Talk package two weeks ago.My Hub was not delivered on time and the support person was immensely helpful and it was delivered the next day. My speeds were still as before (0.07Mbs evenings)but the fibre tech support chap was amazing and took me through the Hub settings until my speed was over 21Mbs. I am really impressed with the support I've received, so impressed that I've already upgraded to Sky fibre unlimited. |

I used 4G for ages while living in the sticks, but when I moved into a fibre area, I decided to switch to sky fibre. I thought the 4G was great, but they put the price up, so byee. After I placed the order, I read a few negative reviews about sky and seriously doubted what I was doing, but it was connected on time and I got 37Mbit from the outset. Hasn't changed since. 4G did show 45+ Mbit at times, but it was erratic, whereas my fibre seems to be pretty consitent and is much much faster when using Netflex et al. Maybe other people have had genuine issues, or maybe they just aren't doing their speed test when no-one else is downloading. Uploading is admittedly slower than 4G, but I don't game, so I don't care. Just worth a mention. Ping latency is much lower with sky tho (150ms 4G vs 50ms Sky) |

We have had a nightmare 10 years with Broadband, ending with an appalling service from Plusnet which had us at breaking point. However, we recently switched to Sky and could not be happier. The broadband switched over exactly as planned and we are receiving 30meg download, 6.33 upload and perfect reliability. To top that, when I called with a query, they offered me Sky+ HD, box sets, set top box and installation completely free for 12 months !! I think all my birthdays and Christmases came at once. Sky have been just amazing to deal with, their advisers are so friendly and helpful and our engineer was just the same. I only wish we had given Sky a chance long before now. |

I was transferred to Sky from O2 a few years ago and am more than pleased. The speed is consistently 37mbs against the 'offered' speed of 40MBS. I get virtually no drop outs and always get through to someone in minutes and always find that they will do a deal at the end of the contrcat. |

i have been a sky customer for many years.i was using sky fibre unlimited and it was great,fast,reliable and good value.i recently decided to upgrade to fibre max unlimited.have to say I wish I had done it before now.almost double the speed of sky fibre.i am delighted.maybe because I live a few hundred yards from the exchange that I get good speeds. |

We called Sky last Saturday morning because our wifi couldn't work and they said that their engineer would come either Monday or Tuesday to fix our wifi. Amazingly, immediately after that the engineer came before afternoon and we have our wifi live before waiting for Monday or Tuesday! So efficient! |

Very very poor broadband. Came to sky as no Virgin in this building (and yet available across the street)! Initially ok, slow compared to what I was used to (from 50 mbps to 4). Then no internet, dropped connection for hours or days. Can't even watch a half hour show without it dropping. Hours and hours spent with customer services. Credit to them they did their very best but they never got to the bottom of the problem. So glad to be moving back to Virgin territory. |

As a customer I had a problem with my broadband. It was slow and kept dropping.from the conversation with one of their agent I understood that the land line is really important for the quality of broadband. So we did troubleshooting and we found out the main problem was from the microfilter. They sent me two even for free filters.now 3months later my broadband is up and running perfectly fine.sky is really good company and of course if your broadband is free they will not give credit for the loss of service. Even the engineers are free.that is why I gave 10out of 10. |

fast reliable connection.i get 9mb connection speed all the time.i had a problem with a noisy line rang sky and they got bt out to put a new line from the pole to my house within 24 hours without charging for it.very happy with them. |

Just had faster fibre installed for £25 a month for 18 months and up to now everything went smoothly from ordering to job done. Can't fault speed as I am getting 39 mps at all times so at the moment I can say that I am happy with Sky |

Using the broadband.co.uk speed tester I achieved 37.71mb of my up to 38mb download and 8mb on the upload. I realise that location can affect performance but I am very satisfied with what I receive. Further to this, I got a very good deal off Sky and the service has been virtually faultless for the 8 months I have now had it. I will be renewing it next time around. |

Sky has been great for us for years and we have only just started to have problems with it. I think this is because working from home is a lot more demanding but when we rang to end our contract because we where moving to Zen the person was very understanding and polite overall I would get this if you have young children through their first faze of using technology overall great! |

Have had Sky broadband for 5 days now and I am extremely impressed with the quality and speeds. I was happy with TalkTalk, but this deal came cheaper (actually completely free for 12 months, and monthly line rental 100% offset by a M&S voucher). |

I cannot understand all the negative reviews on here. I have been with sky since they took over o2. I get a consistent top of the range speed ( 37mbs ) very rarely drops out ( I have not had a drop out for months) and on the odd occasion I need to speak to them I always get through in a couple of minutes. When I did have a problem with my BT main socket they arranged for an Openreach engineer to put in a new up to date socket for free.Top class |

I have been a client for sky broadband for 3 years and am more than happy with their service . Their customer service team are always friendly and helpful. Technicians are knowledgeable, professional and ready to explain anything I don’t understand as always one of the team member called Amruth assist me and was able to solve the issue immediately he even gave me a discount for my next few months bill as a way of apologising on behalf of sky . |

Well I don't know what it is about Sky but.....for the last year I have been with BT for standard broadband. When I signed up they told me I'd get 3 - 8 mbs download speeds and I consistently got between 3 and 3.25 mbs download. Two weeks ago I switched to sky on a free broadband for 1 year offer. They also advised me that I'd get 3 - 8 mbs download. Since then I have checked regularly using speedtest.net and have recorded the following download speeds: |

Moved to sky about 2 weeks ago from BT. Was dubious but the savings were good. Took the fibre max package and am getting 62mb download and 20mb upload, matching that from BT. Early days but so far am very pleased. The savings will be the icing on the cake. |

Having read some of these reviews I find it hard to believe it's the same company that I am with. I was an old O2 customer who stayed with Sky and have found them to be excellent - no transfer problems, broadband speed and reliability excellent; and courteous and efficient customer service (as O2 had been). The latter is important for me. In addition, as on old O2 customer they have given me free broadband - currently in the third year now. It's important to be polite when contacting any customer services - I wonder whether some of the complaints here are due to the attitude of the customer calling rather than the Sky agents (whom I have found to be very courteous)... |

I think Sky is brilliant. I have been with them for 10 months now and everything has ran smoothly. I had initial problems with getting a wifi signal from my box but the customer service person talked me through how to resolve this. I have been very impressed with their customer service. I have had to call them a few times to sort out stuff and each time they offer to call back and do so promptly. I can't recommend this company highly enough mainly because their customer service is so great. The equipment also works very well and I get wifi all the time. |

I was with bethere for many years on their unlimited upto 24mb adsl2+ service and was getting around 13mb/1.3mb then sky took over .... speed dropped to 9mb :( |
