Changed to po because bt almost doubled in price 5 weeks ago, I had problems from the start their useless router keeps dropping the connection also their router will NOT connect to my epson wireless printer after 3 weeks they told me I cannot connect to printer or local network with their router even though it clearly says I should be able to on their faq they told me to buy my own router now I cannot get them to give me the settings, also they do NOT reply in 24 hours as stated more like 7 days. AVOID AT ALL COSTS (It will cost you if you do).

YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! I transferred to Post Office from Plusnet due to their great deal on 3/11/2017. Despite reassurances from the P.O, I have never received an internet connection, no one was interested or took ownership for the problem. I was told it was a network problem which affected 100’s of customers and it would be connected on 21/12, this then moved to 3/1 and finally moved to 16/1 when I cancelled the contract and gone back to Plusnet for connection on 5/1.
They are such an unprofessional organisation, paying peanuts and getting monkeys! You cannot speak with anyone above a useless Customer Services Manager. I have referred them to OFCOM and they suggest I formally complain to the P.O. and request substantial compensation. I have such detailed incompetence recorded and happy to share.

By far the slowest broadband we have ever had. Speeds of 0.1 and 0.3 are the norm for us. Post office were not interested in improving this blaming our location. Would not recommend to my worst enemy.

RUBBISH! If I am still within the cooling off period I am cancelling. Been 'switched' on 1 week and internet is still not working. You email - no response, you call them and sit in a queue as they are always 'experiencing high call volumes' now I know why - it is terrible. Save yourself time and don't even bother with it!

Do yourself a big favour and don't go with PO Broadband - you will regret it. I was forced into it and I'm counting down the month's until my 12 months are up and I'll be free to move to a better supplier.

Put it one way my mobile data on 1 bar with only the h plus sign is faster than this crappy Internet, it works but even to upload Netflix takes forever, wish I had stayed with BT they're a lot faster, post office is a joke, you get what you pay for.

One star is one too many.
Dreadful broadband service, too slow to carry out a speed test!
Help desk personnel are very pleasant but nothing actually improves.
I'll have changed by the end of the week, if my broadband connection is capable of leaving me connected for long enough!

i find this service to be beyond poor. i can never seen to get through to an actual person to talk to. When i have a problem i spend the best part of an hour waiting in a "Que" to only have the phone answered and put down again resulting in another attempted to call the help line witch is an 0345 number on my mobile. the internet struggles with the ps4 and a smart tv on at the same time. so disappointing. Not reliable, no human contact when help is needed

For the first month everything was fine, then my connection got steadily worse until one weekend - nothing. I rang on the Sunday, the man was very helpful & not at all patronising. I did all the things he suggested & it worked almost straight away. 2 weeks later everything is great. The reason was that I'd started turning off the router at night! So simple.

After trying for almost 8 weeks to have PO phones do a home move to my new address, I gave up. I was promised 2 different dates for my internet connection to be live, but it never happened. Just excuse after excuse .I then arranged to move to BT but PO phones cancelled the transfer without my authorisation. When I complained, I just got a load of waffle ft

Being a previous BT ISP user for many previous years, this PO basic Broadband deal has saved me 60pc of my previous line rental/charges, in the first year (ok, I cut out the free weekday calls). Even at the full rate, I now save 30pc of monthly fixed costs compared to BT. Please note that I am a light Internet user (Chromecast are my biggest downloads), but my service has now been faultless for 18 months.
I recently contacted PO for Freephone tech help (on my Girlfriends service!) and as well as getting straight though to a very helpful English guy, the problem was resolved by him, remotely, within 1/2 hour, Well done, thanks. Summary is, I have a great service at a great price, for my requirements.

After naturally accepting the transfer from Fuel Broadband in the summer, we've had nothing but continual dropouts (many per day) and at best 5.8mbps & 0.9 upload speed.
Lost count of the amount of phone calls I've made and the amount of 'try this' and 'try that'. Even though nothing has changed in the house and all of our previous providers gave an acceptable service, they make out it's a problem at my end. They eventually raised a 'ticket' and an 'invisible' Engineer fixed the fault on the line. Utter rubbish, it never happened, it's still no better. Any one got a magic wand?

Absolutely appalling. Previous provider taken over by Post Office. Problems with Broadband, then was informed that I had moved to another provider and that my account was cancelled. I did no such thing, after hours on hold I was told that it was hacked. They were also charging me £200 for early cancellation of a contract that I did not start as I had been with my previous provider for a number of years before they go taken over. It's not just the problems, but that nobody appears willing to sort any of them out. Just fobbed off. Worst customer service I've ever experienced.

I've given one star is it's the lowest it will let me go. If you want internet access everyday then don't bother using the post office. If you want Internet for 3 months and pay for 18 months then this is the company to use. When my works correctly I'm lucky if I get more than 1mb upload speed and no more than 5mb download speed. If you raise a ticket with them they just fob you off basically saying try this etc which you would of done anyway before raising a ticket, it does however magically work again after raising a ticket for a day or 2 then nothing till you complain again. AVOID THE POST OFFICE AT ALL COSTS!!!!

DON'T Get Post office broadband it's not worth the hassle, call after call didn't resolve the problem even when i quoted the consumer rights act 2015 that in my opinion they were not providing service with reasonable skill and care and that, the contract was unfair and that, that meant i could cancel the broadband contract with no penalty but they were not interested so i am faced with a penalty of £110 pounds to cancel the contract. I repeat DO NOT SIGN UP WITH POST OFFICE BROADBAND It's not worth the hassle

4* for customer service as change over was trouble free and service at branch was friendly and polite. Trouble is the broadband is utter crap and I'm tied in now. Debilitatingly, business damagingly slow, absolutley gutted. Seen what others have written; seems pointless even complaining. DO NOT TAKE ON PO BROADBAND! You get what you pay for.

Very slow Internet speeds often less than 1mbps. Despite reporting this many times there has been no improvement.Have been with them a long time but recently the service has gone seriously downhill, although they have hiked up prices. Avoid avoid avoid!

It appears the trouble with these sites is the only people responding are the people who have suffered problems. Since switching to the the Post Office over 18 months ago from Virgin who's broadband only worked around 3 days a week. Since joining I have had few problems and the customer service is the best I have experienced, you only have to wait a couple of minutes for a response, some sort of miracle compared with everywhere else

Hi. Having trouble writing this review as my speed is between 0.27 and 0.50 Mbps. New router, 2nd in a couple of weeks, is just as bad as before. Customer service is dreadful - from people not putting notes on your account to people that sound like they're half asleep. Offering you a credit of £5 for your trouble... I'm getting married at the end of the week and can't get onto basic websites. Emailing from a phone is not easy. I'm off to Virgin then...! AVOID! P.S. lowest speed in the country - look it up!!

They took me over without my knowledge. They did not ask for my agreement if I want to be their client and kept taking money of my account for 3 months before I even realised. The broadband itself is extremely slow and the worst I ever had! Do not do it to yourself and never ever ever go with PO broadband.

Sorry , no good points .
Dead slow internet speeds.
Phone line far too hit & miss .
Direct Debit payment NOT TAKEN ONCE in my 18 month contract on the date it was supposed to be taken . They blame it on my Bank . Yeah, right .
Not easy to stay on top of if you're on a tight budget . Overall review - GO ELSEWHERE - ANYWHERE ELSEWHERE !
