Had the internet just over a year, was on BT the past 10 or so years. BT internet would usually disconnect around 12-2AM at night likely to perform maintenance, this never happens with NOWTV which is always good when your in a competitive gaming match and dont get disconnected.

The speed is reliable and decent for what I pay, 25 squid for 36Mb, good for downloading steam games etc. Overall no complaints.

Just don’t bother even thinking about joining them, used them for 2 years at 2 different locations and never got even close to the “guaranteed” speeds. Customer service doesn’t exist as far as I’m concerned you might as well call a brick wall, least you know what you’re in for. Not had many issues with the internet dropping but when it does...it does, and it doesn’t come back till you’re too pissed of to even wanna use it. Heap of rubbish, stick to playing outside.

I waited over 2 months since joining Now TV and still had no internet or phone service! I had to do all the calling and chasing. No updates. I was always promised an Engineer would come out within 5 days but this Engineer never appeared in over 2 months. I was then charged for the privilege of no service whatsoever, promised a refund which never materialised. Funnily enough after wasting over 2 months of my life, which cost me money, & zero compensation, I cancelled my ‘services.’ I am now with Virgin Media who in comparison were helpful, quick, easy, and better all round! I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND NOW TV TO ANYONE, DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS SHOCKING COMPANY!

Overall i'm very very happy with NOWTV Broadband, not a single issue as far as speed is concerned. Great customer service, although I had to knock them down one star as their technical knowledge is lacking and it took two tries for them to understand my enquiry. (explained below)
The second issue is the Router for WIFI range is not strong. I have most of my house CAT 5 cabled up, however mobile phones cannot be cabled and as such I was receiving only between 1/4 to 1/2 signal quality on wifi when upstairs-with it actually dropping out on occasion.

BY FAR THE WORST PROVIDER at the same address and with the same set up (router, gadgets, tv, console have been at the sam spots for 5 years!).

I havens seem such poor service on anything. Literally. Ghe only reason i picked nowtv was the 12 months contract. If bt wasnt such a rubbish provider chucking 24 month contracts down peoples throats i wouldnt change but hey...
Since i joined nowtv, never enjoyed stable internet, their poor router doesnt do the job at all, you cant replace it either because of some router option 61 or some sort of rubbish...as if it s such a magical super internet, everyone is in a queue to hack it...
Movies are interrupted all the time, router needs reset every day, forget about ps4 or xbox...

They decided that my “offer” was over and took an additional £50 out of my account.
How is this even legal?
I had straightforward broadband, there was no offer.
Please do not use this company, I am struggling to get anywhere to recover my money, I will be reporting them to consumer ombudsman.

Worst WiFi EVER! There is barely any customer support therefore any problems you have are basically impossible to fix. Don’t allow bank card changes! The sad excuse for the chat tool is ridiculous, they don’t help at all. Been charged random amounts constantly £1s and £4 coming out all the time. The broadband will just go down for a hours, which is an inconvenience!

This is the worst company I have ever had the misfortune to associate with. I tried and failed for 6 weeks to get broadband with these people. My neighbours managed to get broadband with them though, unfortunately it was my broadband as they disconnected them and made their phone and WiFi drop out for a month. They failed to call me back regularly and their customer service was truly awful. Please don’t ever consider working with Now TV Broadband. They’re a subsidiary of Sky so they should be ok. They had one job and they simply couldn’t do it. Absolutely useless.

AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS. NOW TV fibre broadband went live on 22/05/19. Constant problems with intermittent connection; phone line constantly stops working altogether; very low broadband speeds.

All of my previous ISP's were providing a good service with no service issues.

MY ADVICE: AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ANY COST. Total failure to respond to, or resolve, customer complaints. Hours wasted on phone calls to NOW TV. Incompetent staff. No customer service whatsoever. Matter still not resolved after more than 6 months!

I have had now tv broadband for just over a month and it goes off 7/8 times a day for long periods. As i study at home the internet is quite important so i have rung to check my line, to be told it was fitted wring but nobody could come to fix it for a month. I was told no several times that i couldnt cancel and eventually was hung up on.
I received an email the next day saying my conplaint had been dealt with and closed? My wifi still isnt working and now i cannot get through to anybody.

I'm confused by all of the negative reviews on here. I am with Now TV Broadband and can only give them top marks. I was with BT and when I moved home they tried to trick me into a new contract. By trick me, I mean this was not mentioned throughout the moving requisition process, BT in very small print in the confirmation email! So I left them. Prior to that I had been with Talk Talk which was a total disaster! My download speed was supposed to be 36 - 40 mbs but was never above 30 mbs, and went down to 2.5 mbs but they weren't at all interested in sorting out the problem. Both BT & Talk Talk contracts were for 18 months. My Now TV contract is for 12 months, a length I can accept as if I am not satisfied at the end of it, I can go elsewhere. By the way neither previous gave free anytime calls to both landline and mobile numbers, only weekend calls to landlines only. And were both more than what I am paying now!

!!!AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

Customer services departments are shocking.

I’ve been with Now Broadband since February 2019. At the beginning of November I received an email saying my line was being swapped so their service would be discontinued. I rang to find out why as I wasn’t swapping my line and was told that it was likely a neighbour who had put the wrong address in, so they had sorted this and my broadband would go on uninterrupted. At this point, had no issues. Spoke to my neighbours for a few houses down and all confirmed they were not changing providers so was a bit confused, but these things happen so no anger yet.

10 days later, I receive another email saying my broadband will be taken over by another company and they were trying to convince me to stay. Well as far as I was concerned this wasn’t happening, so I rang them back to find out what was going on. Again I was told that there were no issues and that my internet would go uninterrupted.

On the 15th, my broadband was cut. I rang back and escalated this to the CS management who apologised and said this would be sorted. I was offered two months free broadband (around £54) and that the broadband would be activated as soon as possible. Turned out the earliest they would be able to reactivate this would be the 29th November, which wasn’t ideal seeing as I work using the internet and have had to take unpaid leave and what they were offering didn’t even match a days wage, but I’ve had to manage and wait.

So yesterday, I received an email saying that this was all being cancelled. I rang twice and the customer service advisors put the phone down on me both times. I rang a third time with the intention to speak to a manager about this and was met by an advisor who was incredibly rude and refused to escalate my complaint. As a result, I cancelled the broadband and asked for a refund - it’ll be interesting to see if this refund comes through.

Overall very poor service from a worldwide company. In terms of the broadband quality when it was working, it was mediocre at best. The connection would drop regularly and was very slow on all devices. My recommendation to anyone thinking of using Now Broadband is to look elsewhere.

Router is seemingly useless outside any room it’s in. Speed is as advertised so can’t really complain there. Customer service is ridiculously bad. I submitted a complaints form two days after installation (bearing in mind I had a 2 week period available to cancel with no charge or repercussions) and they contacted me after 18 days!

Hilariously bad. If I weren’t moving again soon I would’ve cancelled after day one due to bad router.

Just renewed with NOW Broadband. Price increased after initial 12 month contract. Before switching asked for better deal. Offered one less than my orig deal for same service.

Customer service was superb. Little bit of a wait after initial security check but it was sat afternoon. Pleasant, knowledgable... just superb. Top class.

Now Broadband are the worst company I have ever dealt with. Continuous lies and false promises – blaming any error on Open Reach but not offering more explanation. Circling back on errors that I had known were fixed. I spent a month trying to get online, in the end went for BT who got me up and running immediately. Now Broadband customer services were extremely patronising and unhelpful. Their answer is literally, we will let you know in two weeks when there is an update... not if you will go live... if there is an update. Just the worst experience. Avoid at all costs!

keep away from this crap provider, there is no way of contacting them when you have a problem, I have been flooded and have problems connecting to broadband and I have no phone, the only thing that came into contact with any water was the Open Reach box (another crap firm), can;t speak to anyone here either, on their information page it said contact your service provider and they will inform Openreach, so hack to square can't contact NowTv. it's time Ofcom got a grip on these companies who cannot be contacted by their paying customers.

Installed 3 months ago, moved from Virgin, what a nightmare, got super fibre thinking it would be good, it drops off on a daily basis it, the speed is slow, Netflix buffers on SD, the hub is 10m away front the TV with no walls, I complained and they said they would send a specialist engineer out from Openreach, he advised that everything was OK(equipment and connection) but the WiFi was just poor, I called NOWTV and they said they don't guarantee a wireless service only a wired service and it would cost me £70 to cancel, joke, AVIOD LIKE THE PLAGUE!! Back to Virgin for me

More like next year TV, my partner and I decided to move over from sky back in late July. We were supposed to go live on 21st august. Was then changed to the 27th fair enough. It's now 11th November NOVEMBER and we are still waiting to go live!! My partner has phoned up several times and been on live chat even more. atleast once a day (sometimes 3-4 times a day on the phone because they hang up half way through most of the time. Have been being told for ages that we will have an update soon or its with open reach blah blah. Was told yesterday that we will be live on the 21st November!! 3 months is absolutely shocking and that's if it even does go live... What an absolute joke my partners been friendly and patient on the phone/live chat all the way through but to me it's unacceptable!

MANCHESTER NOW Broadband
My flatmate and I had been waiting for 2 weeks for an engineer to come to sort out our Wifi. The engineer came and from what we thought sorted out our WiFi and we had successful WiFi for 3 days before it was cut out without warning. After spending 2 hours on the phone to NowTV to try and get this sorted all they did was pass the blame onto openreach and tell us we would have to place another order and wait another 2 weeks for an engineer to come out. I then contacted openreach as well as complained online on the openreach website, eventually after another 2 hours to be told (with an explanation as to why) that it was NowTV who didn't complete the final stage of the setup process of our broadband leading to automatic cancellation and I have this confirmation in writing. When phoning NowTV back to tell them this, instead of trying to resolve the problem for us, all they said was that they shouldn't have been allowed to provide us with internet as there was no space on the line, again passing the blame onto openreach. We also had 3 days of successful NowTV broadband before it was cut out so I highly doubt this to be true and it is probably another one of their excuses. I urge anyone, don't be fooled by their cheap prices because you won't even get the internet you pay for, as we still haven't with the total wait time now being a month with a likely further 2 weeks for whatever broadband provider we choose instead. NowTV are a disgrace and I won't be using them again.

Change you extra without warning and hard to contact them to find number and when you do get through to then they no help also should get 36mb speed but most of time get less like around 24mb sometime even 17mb will be ringing again about that this time absolute garbage disappointed with it.
Sheffield NOW Broadband
I marked the reliability down because I did have ongoing problems for a few months but this was mainly my fault. I changed from Sky to Now TV about 18 months ago, as expected, the Now TV internet worked without any need to change the old connections or Sky Q hub. When I started to experience problems, I suspected it was probably down to the router, however, I delayed connecting the Now TV hub due to my own laziness and not wanting to reconnect the many devices to the new hub. Last night I gave in as the speeds had become unusable, since then, everything has worked just fine and we don't even need the wifi booster that had been necessary to get wifi upstairs without the Sky Q multiroom box.

In response to the reviews claiming terrible customer service, I've found them very good when I have bothered to contact them. When moving house, the change was quick and seamless (much better than past experience with Sky and BT), even extending the special offer I got when I signed up without extending my contract, giving me the reduced fee long after I was free to leave.

All in all, I think for the price, they offer a good service. You get what you pay for and if you want better speed and reliability, it's going to cost more.

Exeter NOW Broadband
Appalling customer service. We've had several issues with NowBroadband over the past year. The reach of the signal is absolutely terrible, we've had to rearrange the entire living room to allow the Wi-fi signal to reach the consoles despite only being four meters away originally. The box continuously turned off and required a reboot. The company has no telephone number stated anywhere on their page. We spent several hours searching up ways to contact them, every number stated on Google was a blank or warned of a £6 charge. Eventually we found a customer only number, concealed at the bottom of the broadband terms and conditions page. However, this number took several attempts to connect to, as the first few tries we were only connected to an echo of ourselves. The live chat is also absolutely useless. A small quantity of their staff are illiterate and impossible to communicate with. Others are entirely incompetent and no help whatsoever. On several occasions I encountered a chat which provided me with no response other than the chat starter of "Hello I'm... to start with can I please take your full name and email address please." followed by no further replies for over ten minutes. Not to mention the account login itself was down for over three days at one point in September, preventing me from accessing my payment details to check the end date of my 12month contract (since they don't contact you to inform you of this). Furthermore, if you try to change your email through your account (which the website states is what you should do), even if you are with nowBroadband only (no connection to nowTV) your email is in fact only changed for nowTV rather than the broadband services. Only reason I am not leaving a 1 star review is because every so often I happened to stumble upon a member of staff who was not only extremely helpful but also went out of their way to help sort out issues which were not caused by themselves but rather by other members of their team.

This company seemed ok when they first started, it was small and well funded I imagine, so makes sense.  But now suffers from being bigger than it can handle - hence the laughably poor service.

I was told I had months left on a contract on the 30 day rolling contract I joined with!  Obviously I raised a complaint and requested a copy of the calls that had taken place between myself and NowTV..  I have requested this information 4 times over 3 months and still have received nothing, despite them agreeing to send it (as is everyone's right) and my raising a complaint every time.

Things have got so bad complaints have been with the data protection commissioner.

I have dealt with bad companies before, but NowTV have created their very own low level!

Now Broadband have a UK based call centre and without any hesitation it is the worst possible customer care I have ever received!
I perception is the staff must receive about an hours training before reeking havoc on the public.
I ordered my Broadband on 28th September and after many many cockups and untruths from Now looks like it maybe the middle of November.
No-one reads the engineers reports so nothing is acted upon, it is totally reliant on you to call before they will do anything.
You can speak to 3 different staff and you will receive 3 different conclusions. In fact the only thing they all manage to do is keep adding on delay times, then quoting some procedure.
They openly criticize other departments within NOW, the managers need to learn to speak to people on the phone as so far I am waiting for callbacks from several and its been over a week.
If I could get out of this and go with someone else without causing further delay I would.
I strongly recommend paying 2 or 3 pounds more a month with some of the other providers as 5hrs of phone calls is not worth it.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS

I am due to move house in 1 month. I called them a few weeks ago to schedule this and even had email confirmations to say that the broadband will be switched on the correct date. They shut off my broadband a month early and couldn't get it back. They then said it would take up to 2 weeks to get back, until someone else took the last spot in the green box outside. Now I am without broadband for a month until I move. Thanks NOW TV!

Would give a zero if i could, signed up once and booked an engineer but when I called up to check this, they said my account had not been created. The person on the phone set us up for an engineer to come out in 2 weeks time, only for our order to be cancelled without giving any explanation. When I called up they said we had no capacity for broadband with them, which they didn’t mention any of the other times they were taking my card details.

Absolute shambles. Had a member of the customer service team put the phone down on me mid call twice

I think I might be quite fortunate after reading the litany of complaints made against Now. My order was cancelled by them yesterday without reason and was due to go live in a week.I have decided not to phone them as I don't want the service (if you can call it that) and I don't want to be charged for the call. One commenter stuck out in my mind was the person that bought a months TV deal only to be charged again the following month as he didn't cancel it! As he put it 'a month should be a month' this to me is surely terribly wrong.
