    Now TV Broadband Review
Now TV Broadband Review. ADVOID unless you want added stress every single month just to simply pay your bill. Their website is diabolical to the point it takes a few hours study just to get a simple answer (mainly to get there CS Number which is hidden away). Their customer service is mediocre with each staff member seemingly giving different answers and different solutions. I've been in hospital recently and all I wanted to do was pay my bill, which for some reason there site didn't allow.
I called them to which I was put through to someone lacking in any training as well as customer service skills. finally had the strength to try again this morning called them and they said "oh it did go through yesterday let me turn your services back on" this clearly shows lacking not only in your system but your payment system as well. All I can say is I've had enough and will leaving you guys by the end of the month. after this ordeal whether I'm still under contact or not I have no trust in your company anymore and I need a reliable service for work reasons.

I guess cheap comes with stress, but no more we've had enough and can't wait to see the back of you guys to be honest.

Absolutely the worst fibre Broadband I’ve ever had, in the time I’ve been with them I’ve had 2 new rooters and 3 now tv boxes due to failures! With the broadband the only thing they love to repeat is “ we can’t control hiw reliable your network is when your wireless” then why have I never had this problem with any other services before then??? They then go on to say well how many devices are connected at once at Max only ever 3 mobiles and still it cuts out! I’ve even put in a WiFi repeater and even with that it looses the now broadband! Honestly please listen to this warning ⚠️ Do not go with NoW tv broadband!!!

Just the most terrible experience ever . I swapped from sky thinking that they are the same company what could possibly go wrong ? .. believe me I urge anybody to stay well clear . You cannot speak to anybody ... if by some miracle you do get through after hours and hours of being put on hold you speak to a northern Irish call centre who could not give two hoots if you have no phone or internet or both in my case . I cancelled . They still continued to debit my account . Believe me don’t sign up . You will regret it. Like I do ... big time

Takes most of day to get through to customer service and just found out that caller withhold and call baring is extra , looks cheap on face of things but bits like this add's to the price. Broadband not the fastest either. Can't wait for contact to end and I'm gone.

Really bad customer service. Took almost two months to get me connected. They don't have a tech support line so getting issues resolved is a nightmare. Also, they will scam you out of any cashback from Quidco etc.

Very very poor. 3 days after switchover day and still no landline or broadband. Poor customer service - pleasant staff but long delays getting through and staff unable to do anything (presume business modelled in this way - staff just there as a pretence). Reading reviews not optimistic about getting phone or BB service any way soon. My advice is go somewhere else - do not use Now.

This company is THE DEVIL. I cannot believe how a company like can be in business. I've moved into my new house and the internet connection has been a NIGHTMARE. I've got a fever from how stressful I was, I'm not joking. Impossible to get in touch with them, left with no internet for 5 days, no clue what was going on, they got my address wrong, now they've sent me an email saying someone else is moving into my flat and they had to cancel my contract.. like.. what the hell?? Not to talk about the internet speed, trash. Cannot believe they provide a connection this slow in 2018. EMBARASSING. I can say with confidence that NowTv is the WORST company I've come across in my whole life. What a joke.

Just ordered now broadband and arranged a date for installation. They have now sent a reply changing the date to a day that suits them but not me. I called the number only to be told by automated service the waiting time is at least 20mins. I have since read reviews others have made and it appears this company should be avoided.
Just a tip for those who have difficulty getting the contract stopped and a refund. Provided you have paid by card a sum of at least £100 you can use section 75 of the consumer act to make the card company equally liable for breach of contract.
    75. — (1) If the debtor under a debtor-creditor-supplier agreement falling within section 12(b) or (c) has, in relation to a transaction financed by the agreement, any claim against the supplier in respect of a misrepresentation or breach of contract, he shall have a like claim against the creditor, who, with the supplier, shall accordingly be jointly and severally liable to the debtor.

    AVOID, AVOID, AVOID, AVOID, AVOID
This really is a truly awful Internet service provider. When I contacted Customer Services I was put to 3 different advisers and had to explain 3 different times the same issue. They deny all responsibility and do everything they can to avoid a resolve. I have never ever came across such poor customer services, they try and pass the burden of blame elsewhere. One of the best excuses I had when trying to resolve the issue was that I am using the wrong web browser (even though I had tried Microsoft edge, Google Chrome, Internet Explorer & Safari) so I was told to download Firefox and this what definitely, without a shadow of a doubt resolve the problem. Guess what, even after following their advice to the letter it still did not resolve the issue.
I cancelled account and am now out of pocket.
This really is the worst provider I have unluckily had the misfortune to subscribe too. Do not be drawn if by any special offers you see on any comparison website, spend a fraction more on another provider if you have to as it will be worth it and you will save money in long run. If I could've gave it negative stars I would've.

Signed up on line. The only confirmation was for me to claim for a voucher for now tv.I read the reviews then decided to cancel via chat. The page wouldn't go so far as to be able to send the message. My account details weren't recognised so couldn't log on. Couldn't find an email address finally read the conditions and found the number 03303323050.Cancelled I hope. What a fraught time finding out who to contact why make it so difficult.

Failed to supply purchased router. Switch went ahead away so no access to broadband until replacement sent.irish call centre less than helpful verging on contemptuous. Refuse to supply details so that I can use my own router in the short term and we don't even switch until tomorrow. Terrible start, terrible customer service, terrible mistake. Once up and running again first Google search will be for another more professional provider than these bunch whom I suspect are operating out of a caravan!

Absolutely diabolical. Terrible service, no communication. The left hand doesn't know the right exists.
Seriously don't change to this provider. I feel like I am going to implode and they haven't even set my broadband up yet. I can't begin to explain the problems I've had and we are not even switched yet. I am trying desperately to make sure we don't get switched. Please don't make the same mistake we have. Steer well clear.

Truly poor service as I ordered the broadband only package. The router drops aout and reboots numerous times a day and I have yet to watch anything where it does not buffer. Bought a wifi booster to cover the 6 paces from the router to my laptop and yes you guessed it same problem. Spoke for two hours yesterday to customer service who had me dismantling the sockets on the wall and of course it dropped out again and spoke to 3 different polite people but ended up back where I started. I tether this laptop to my phone so I can write this review as I know the router will drop out before I have finished. I guess you should not get your expectations too high when you buy a package from nowtv and I truly wish I was one of the customers who everything works for...but I see they are few. Pay the extra and go to another company as this is the bottom end of the market for a product. Shame

So far I'm very disappointed with capabilities of Now broadband service.
I already had a "Nowtv" box and thought it would work really well with Now broadband, it does not. The box performance is very slow compared to previous broadband supplier which surprised me.
I'm having trouble even getting in touch with Now broadband, beginning to wish I'd never changed

Absolutely dire, i'm not downloading, just browsing..... my hub keeps dropping and rebooting, i tried help desk chat but guess what.... couldn't get chat going properly as every 3 mins my hub failed, finally managed to find a help line number. Nice chap at the other end says my hub dropped 17 times in first 90 minutes. Said it was only sent out at 17 and I was pulling 24mbs, reset it by dialling in... not been any better so tomorrow morning i'm telling them to poke it....

Promised me min 32mbs out of 36mbs. In the initial 14 days i have eceived 35-36mbs. After that the nightmare started. I am now getting 10mbs in average with bad periods of less than 5mbs. All they say is they can't do anything about it.

First 6 months was fine, last 6 months horrific. I gave both now tv and now broadband. Put the tv on and at least 15 times every evening it stops with an error message and 5-10 mins before it comes back on. Wifi also constantly cutting out. Had no connection or tv for two whole weeks and they refused to refund. Shocking customer servive and refusal to fix the issue. One person even said if youre not happy leave!!! I was with virgin for 7 yrs prior to this, my internet went off twice in 7 yrs and both times i was refunded. Now i go for weeks with no connection and no help whatsoever. Its with Ofcom at the minute but luckily my contract runs out in a week...that will be one big celebration! Stay away from this awful company!

NOW TV are the best ISP I have been with in the UK ever, period. I've tried several ISPs over many years, all with ADSL, some were better than others with Plusnet being the worst after they were bought by BT and the customer service plummeted.

My lower ratings for Now TV reliability and speed have nothing to do with Now TV. Speed and reliability are the responsibility of BT OpenReach who own and operate all ADSL lines in the UK.

As no ISPs own any ADSL lines the only thing you are buying is customer service and NOW TV are the best I've experienced. If you can get cable in your area and bypass OpenReach all together that will give you the highest reliability of all.

After researching a number of broadband providers and reading various reviews I ended up going with Now and I couldn't be happier. Box arrived a week before live date. So easy to set up and it's never dropped out at all since we started it up (as some reviews suggest.) I work from home so rely on the internet being fast and reliable so I'm very pleased this has worked so well. Would highly recommend.

Ignore the bad reviews if you're getting broadband only. I can't comment on the TV packages as didn't sign up for them. Easiest and fastest broadband installation I've ever had! Had an Openreach engineer come within 2 weeks which is a record (try 4-6 normally). I've moved around a lot and I know this process...and the pain that it normally incurs so was very surprised by how easy a company this cheap made it. I'm getting 7.5Mbps down the line which is plenty for me, can watch Netflix HD and browse super fast no issues which is the majority of what I use it for. I couldn't get fibre on the BT lines here so it was this or Virgin basically, which costs a lot more.
The way I see it is if you're getting ADSL rather than cable, it all comes through the same BT lines anyway so the only real variables are traffic management (ie. throtttling) and customer service. NOW doesn't throttle (thumbs up) and customer service have been quick to get through to, speak proper English (well for Irish people anyway :-)) and quite efficient. Why pay more? For a more 'reputable' company? Its just marketing trust me - they're all jokers at the end of the day ;-)

Don't go near this company! unless you would like no connection and a barrel full of excuses about how BT "Open Reach" are to blame. Just wish this website advertising was more honest.... some like - There no NOW in now TV just empty space and certainly no chance of broadband being connected anywhere near the agreed date. Ps. you will be required to chase them as they will not communicate with you, they taken to putting their "head in the sand" with new customer and hoping for the best.

Worse company I have ever dealt with.

BELIEVE ME, DON’T EVER CONSIDER THIS COMPANY.

Finding the customer sevice number when needed is requires an assignment itself. And when you, you get some seriously bored staff that don’t give a toss about your problems with an atritude and rude. They have this sort of tone that gets you and develops into an arguement. That pissed me off and I regretted the moment I signed up. But when it comes down to payments, their systems never shuts down, and their is always people availble to make payments.

When the net is slow, they don’t let you know. When the net is out, they don’t let yoy know. You are just unvalued.

ABSOLUTEY HORRIBLE, I WISH YOU SHUT DOWN AND NEVER EXIST.

First of all, I have read the reviews and without insulting anyone, some people are just never satisfied. I have been with Virgin for years, I mean, it used to be NTL when I first joined. But I got fed up with my bills increasing every year to a point where I was paying over £100 a month. So when I moved house from London to Ipswich I decided to write down all the pros and cons about my Virgin package. For me, it all came down to flexibility. So NowTV, obviously, started to become a contender. Done my research and, because I didn't have to commit myself, I thought I'd give it a go. This was a year ago. I love the fact that I can pick and chose on a monthly basis and that I can actually leave whenever I want to. In this year I have not encountered any problem whatsoever and the reason I am writing this review is this; I became aware today that there's a new hub on the market as I just upgraded my MacBook Pro. As my husband is moving in permanently in 5 weeks time, my main concern was the 2.4ghz band, a problem we never had (only fair to mention this as well) with Virgin. The new hub caters a dual band which would solve this. I called their Customer Service and (besides the fact that the agent I spoke to definitely was British and I didn't have to wait as I got through in seconds) asked about the new Hub. Without any hassle she told me the new Hub would be send out today, free of charge. What a breathe of fresh air as I always had to beg, steal and borrow with Virgin to get their latest Hub. And this all for a price that continues to amaze me. For me these guys deserve every 5 stars I have given them. Top notch.

Don't even think about NowTV Broadband! Placed an order then got a phone call saying it was cancelled and that I would have to phone up the next day and re-order! WHY? No answer. So, foolishly I did. 2 days later another phone call saying they couldn't do the switch over and that I would have to- unlike any other broadband provider I've had previously. Customer service is a thick Irish accent which I couldn't understand either. Whoever wrote the positive review I suggest is a NowTV employee, has to be. Utter rubbish. I cancelled immediately.

I saw the negative reviews on this site but decided to go ahead anyway!

So far, I'm glad I did. The Customer Service team in Belfast answers the phone quickly and is very helpful (a breath of fresh air compared with Virgin Media, my previous supplier).

Luke, the BT Openreach installer arrived 15 minutes early and got things going, despite it being a horrible cabling job in my building.

And so far, a week on, I'm getting the 37mb/sec broadband speed advertised, even at peak time, and with no outages. I couldn't be happier and even better, I'm on a 30 day contract so not locked in.

Of course, it's early days, but I've quite a bit of confidence in Now stepping up if things did go pear-shaped. I think any supplier will have horror stories where things sometimes go wrong, but again, they're so much better than the dreaded Virgin lot when it comes to quality service.

Overall NOW TVs approach to customer service is we have your money now suffer.
I should have known better as years ago I had used SKY and after 3 years left them when they displayed the same attitude. NOW TV seemed good idea for our holiday home.. result piss poor after sales service. Once they have you all they want is your money and more money.
    My best advice AVOID

After being a Sky customer for 10 years I swapped to NowTV when I moved as they were unable to fit a Sky dish, it seemed sensible to switch BB at the same time... how wrong was I.

In 4 months I have made 10 calls to them all of which resulted in different responses and troubleshooting precedes (one involved me moving furniture and unscrewing sockets) I have had an engineer out twice and I STILL so not get sufficient speed to watch catch-up TV. They have admitted that there is an issue that they can't resolve but are refusing to allow me to terminate my contract early!

I will keep on trying but wouldn't want anyone to make the same mistake that I have!

Really unhappy with overall interaction with NowTV. Similar to client below, have been waiting until mid-November for NOWTV to activate broadband. First of all the box got lost and not delivered and then they refused to send another box out. Finally they sent another box out and then the broadband did not go live as they promised. Definitely doesn't live to the name of "NOW,", maybe they should call it "DELAY TV." In addition, their complaints procedure is appalling, no one will formally respond to your complaints - only the agent on the other end of the phone.

If it was possible to leave 0 stars I would. I have been waiting since November 20th to have the broadband installed at my property. It is now January the 3rd.

I have had appointments booked and then pushed back 4 times

Now TV will say they will call you, but will NOT
Now TV will not compensate you for the negative experience
Now TV never go the extra mile for a customer
Now TV will provide a 3mbps service and charge you full price for it
Now TV will bill you incorrectly so you have to ring & adjust it every month

    AVOID at all costs

Just switched to NOW TV and switch over day came and went, after speaking to customer service they told me the phone had moved across and they were still working on the fiber. phoned again today and they now say there is a problem that they are not sure what it is and it is OpenReach that are causing it, and they will get back to me in 72 hours to give me an update. This si astounding that it takes 72 hours to get an update, with working from home i need internet to do my job and so far NOW TV has let me down, if they get nothing back to me in 72 hours (22 Dec) i expect i will be without internet for christmas holidays, if this is the case i will be cancelling and moving to someone else.

Had my broadband set up for a few days now and all seems brilliant. Plenty to watch with the extra passes (entertainment & sky cinema), easy to use interface on the tv box itself, and the fab fibre speed seems perfect for online gaming and general usage of phones/tablets etc. My only gripe in the process being that the engineer was due to come out between 1 & 6, come quarter to six there was still no sign of him, so i went on the live chat and their customer services department advised that an engineer wasn't needed as my phone line was still live and that i could set-up the router and tv box by myself, so i waited in all day quietly for nothing, a heads up via phone call/email would have been nice!! aside from that, i cant complain about the service so far!!

I would not recommend to my worst enemy. I switched to NOW TV from Sky due to them offering rolling contract while allowing me to upgrade my speed to 38Mbts. Initial set-up was easy and worked fine but I only got my old 10Mb speed. When the faster speed was switched on it complete cease to work. After 12 days and several OpenReach engineer visits I gave up and cancelled and set up with Relish.
NOW TV was never able to tell what the problem was or provide me with a plan for getting it to work. The only thing they would offer was to send another OpenReach engineer which would then take 3-5 days. Speaking to the OpenReach engineers, I am pretty certain that it is not technically possible for me to get the 38 Mbts...
Only positive thing is that their customer service has very short waiting times...so at least you will not have to wait long to speak to someone who cannot help you

The worst broadband I've ever known! Cuts out constantly, speed drops to almost nil and reaches a maximum of around 14mb when I'm paying for 38mb. WiFi is even worse. Can not stream a show on Netflix or catch-up without constant buffering, Now TV broadband is terrible! Fortunately I have been able to cancel after I complained numerous times. Wouldn't wish anyone to be stuck with this for a year contract.
