Reported buffering problem Customer service very helpful & arranged for Openreach to visit as they said I had a problem near my home. They came & checked the whole of my house & said they would come back. Customer service called to ask how they had done & they booked a call out for following day - stayed in whole day & NO ONE came from OPENREACH - no phone call to apologise for not turning up & no call back from EE. I think they just want you to go away !!!!

Broadband hasn't been working for months although we've been paying for it. Rang up multiple times to fix it, occasionally there is a polite person but more often than not they are very very rude and terribly unhelpful. If you want to pay for nothing, then join EE. I am a very unsatisfied customer and the workers do not care and do not want to do their job. (As I say occasionally there is someone who tries to help) but normally they are just rude. I am a university student who needs wifi to work but they do just not care. DO NOT JOIN EE

Overall, very disappointed with EE. The relationship started badly. We were three weeks without an internet connection because EE mishandled the switch over from Talktalk. Thecphonevworked but no internet. No apology of course and no compensation although to their credit they didn't charge me for that period. Now, having been with them for six weeks, so the speed should have settled down, speed is just about ok in the day but hopeless in the evening. It's even too slow for EE tv to work properly. As for browsing, it's too frustrating to try. Wish we had stayed with Talktalk; their speed was much more reliable.

We've been with EE for years now. On the old ADSL connection since Fibre broadband wasn't available in our area until about 2 weeks ago. When it got upgraded we decided to upgrade to it and they said it would take about 3 days for it to come and its now been a week and nothing off EE. It even says on the website if there are any delays we will contact you. I'm fed up with this how can a company this big get away with just literally not bringing you the stuff you order?! Its stupid.

I had been having Standard broadband with EE for a while and had been pleading with them to upgrade my service to Fibre for well over 6 Months. I finally got tired of them with the low standard broadband speeds in the low range as they were not going to upgrade the area to Fibre connections anytime soon. While Virgin Media was serving our neighbourhood with the top speed Fibre Connection. I had no choice but to switch to Virgin Media and I am now enjoying top of the line Fibre Broadband speeds from Virgin. But when i switched Provider's over, EE is now claiming a big disconnect fee from me ! Firstly EE was UNABLE to provide me with the Fibre Service and hence I had to switch providers and I have a justified TECHNICAL reason for switching over. So how can EE still demand disconnect and outstanding on contract fees !! This is Daylight Robbery from EE !

I recently purchased EE broadband as they offered the most competitive deal. Initially i was told the product would arrive within a week of purchase. However after a week the router still hadnt arrived and upon ringing the customer service team i was told i would not have active internet until the 19th of the month, 17 days afters i purchased the product. Looking at previous reviews I am not hopeful i will even have active internet on the date specified.

One of the other deals i found was with TalkTalk, which was very close in price to EE broadband. If they can deliver within a week then it would be well worth the couple of extra pounds you pay to get active internet within a reasonable amount of time.

I tried to leave my Orange Home Broadband after two and a half years of loyal custom. What a nightmare! I am convinced what they do if it is not illegal is at the very least inmoral.
Orange had me hanging for 45 minutes to start with. Then they were not having it. No matter how many times I stated "Will you please give me the MAC Key that my new broadband supplier requires", the operator was trained to ignore my request and refused to hand it over. The patronising treatment was insulting and humiliating. After 20 minutes begging for my MAC Key, operator said they could not tell me over the phone and I would receive this in five working days through the post. No 'thank you for your custom' or anything remotely similar.

Speed is probably the only good thing about this broadband, which otherwise drops connection several times a day, often for hours at a time. I have now been terminated from my wfh job thanks to EE CONSTANTLY dropping my connection.

EE's awful customer service told us nothing was wrong. So they can happily continue to take all our money and provide NOTHING in return... How is this legal?!?

Please avoid EE!! You'll thank me later.

Recently I moved to EE from TALKTALK.
I am a T-Mobile customer for 7 years.Following an advicer called me several time and I ignored their call
many time. Finally I thought why not try their broadband and phone services. The day she called me I picked the phone thats it.She did not gave me time to think about and ask a question. She was hurry and onceshe got the information she need, she always tried to end up my conversation.Instantly I understood something is not normal.Every thing went normal.I am informed my connection date.Fine.They told me patient for ten days to get normal Broadband speed.Waited hopefully. In between I found the speed dropped several times and continued until now.Contacted the EE.First advisor spoke to me politely.Very good and he was kind and helpful. After seval questions he said an engineer will visit.Never happend. Then next day EE contacted me how the issues fixed.I way for work.Cant say the progress. That day i got 12mbps.Finally again the speed dropped.Called EE.Spoke toa advisor. After sevsral conversation he asked me to see my router log.I Logged to my router.I am told to look broadband state.I said it says CONNECTED.I told him. Then he asked what is your problem.I have decided not extend my conversation.I understood according to if it says connected thats fine.Dont care about speed.what it is.My smart tv and mobile phone spinng and spiraling with 6.6 MBPS speed now.Frustrations.I leave the decisions to Customers to

was a very good company until BT got their hands on it.
BEWARE if you are considering a fixed price contact with them, their current contract give them the right to increase your by CPI. so much for a " fixed price contract"

Up to six weeks ago I would have rated EE broadband (Up to 38mbs) as 5 star, always reliable and good customer service such that I have renewed contracts several times. In the last six weeks my speed dropped 1Mps per week from 26Mbs to 15Mbs where its now bottomed out out. After checks, tests etc it turns out that EE have altered the line IP profile to just above 15Mbs so in layman's terms this is capping the line and means that I can no longer achieve a speed within the sold range of 16.5Mbs to 42.5 Mbs, ok now this is where customers need to be careful, EE detailed in the small print that at busy times etc the speed may drop and detailed a minimum contracted speed on 11 Mbs, therefore their stance is its within contract. I find it amazing that a company is allowed to cap the speed below that of the range it specified when its nothing to do with a line busy, just an organisation treating customers unfairly. I'd advise anyone to check the minimum guaranteed line speed or you may end up paying for fibre and receiving a speed of normal broad band.

Worst broadband ever. Works for two hours of the day then that's it. Would definitely not recommend to anyone ever. Waste of money and time. Had 3 engineers out and still nothing has changed, in fact it got worse. Just as bad as the mobile service.

I thought Post Office was bad but EE's taken it to the next mile of bad.
With Post Office, the internet would be inconsistent but EE it stays on apart from when it restarts but I've noticed my room is a Wifi Blackspot so a couple of weeks ago restarted toe router to try to eradicate the blackspot. Unless Argos and YouTube were down simultaneously, my room has just today returned to being a Wifi Blackspot. At least whenever the Post Office wifi was working, it would work in my room but I've had a blackspot in my room occur after the 14 day period. The first time i restarted it fixed. i thought this happened again when i was on discord and messages weren't reading, turns out the channel i was on got deleted. today youtube would buffer and argos wasn't refreshing so i had to turn off my ipad wifi and was like Oh bother, here we go with my room now being officially classed as a wifi blackspot again.

Awful from the start. 1st fibre order had to be cancelled and then Re-ordered as standard and then an upgrade to fibre wh Ch never worked until 3 openreach engineers called out and a change to my landline number which I was never told about. Worked for 2 weeks and then stopped working Wednesday 12th September and reported to them, told that it would take 4 days and have heard nothing since 17th sept which was a false promise of a phonecall back that day which never happened. Have had more time disconnected since I took out broadband with them than an actual connection. No replies to emails. Never had one day of problems with plusnet but since I moved to Ee it had been awful. Do not ever consider them for your broadband.

I had no problems with the customer service when transferring over form talktalk to EE broadband, except they forgot to inform me when my broadband was ready for use, as they said they would.
The broadband itself is pretty useless and I wish I had just stayed with talktalk. Its ok for general browsing, but even that can be really slow sometimes. Absolutely useless for watching or streaming videos though, its not even worth trying with the amount of buffeting, stops and starts. Overall, I am very disappointed with EE's broadband, not what its made out to be in the slightest.

Shocking!!! Wish I could turn back time as I would never have transferred from Sky.
EE has slow speeds. Constantly dropping in and out of connection. Terrible customer service.
I could go on but given that I have nothing positive to say about EE, I won't say anything more.

We were promised that the package we were going for would support the amount of people on the internet at one time, which was incorrect.

Then when we check to see what plans are avaliable for that little bit extra we find out that the ones they're offering us were not avaliable within our area in the first place.

calling them up for them to feed the same automated script answers to which low and behold do nothing but cause more issues.

In the last 4 months we've had nothing but issues, internet outages, phone line downs, broadband shutting down completely to the point of having to have them send a new router out because the one we got had faults to have the one we have now giving the same faults.

Spending for 50 download / 50 upload and can't even manage over 1 upload and 20 download lmao.

THINK CAREFULLY BEFORE YOU SIGN UP. Always had good service from EE on mobile phone so decided to go with them for broadband and landline. Complained about interference on landline and broadband interruptions several times a day and 10 days later after no contact I ring them again to be told that they have made an appointment for the next day - well no-one told me and the member of staff on that occasion was very pleasant and helpful and promised to ring back with confirmed new appointment. Later have a message from a different member of staff advising that the engineers had been unable to access the property due to snow and ice - a lie, the milkman, the postman and I, a mere woman driver, had been in and out several times. Engineer said he rang but line blocked to unknow numbers (true) but left no message. This member of staff then proceed to treat me in the most condescending manner telling me to alter the settings to make my phone more available and that I should call back in a few days to make a new appointment when the weather improves 'because you know my dear, they have large vans' She is obviously unaware that I drive a 7.5 ton lorry in good weather or bad. She was unaware of my conversation some two hours previously with a different member of staff. Whilst she was polite her lack of up to date knowledge and her condescending manner are unacceptable and the service the same. Time for a change.

Signed up after getting fed up with Sky recently. Had no idea I would be subjected to a non UK call centre whose sole objective seems to be to waste my time and mumble platitudes. Very polite but very pointless and I do not use any company that cant even be bothered to invest in providing support from the same country as their customer base. Will be terminating the contract as it hasn't been 14 days yet.

This is a pre installation review. The ee app doesn't work and automated emails failed to arrive. The irony that a telecommunications company can't send emails and order tracking that doesn't work isn't lost on me. I thought I was signing up for BT but got EE broadband. BT you have made a terrible mistake linking up with this company

I bought 3 Amazon Fire TV sticks, 1 of which is Fire TV
I acknowledge now have quite a lot of devices attched, but I regret moving from Sky, apart from the price.
You get what you pay for.
Bandwidth is being throttled quite significantly.
Calls to EE customer service ended up with the impractical solution being to take devices off and then did not want to know, when I could benefit from an upgraded router.
    Overall, unsatisfied.

Moving house with EE is dreadful. Delayed by 3 to 4 weeks without broadband and 2 weeks with out phone, despite having arranged and agreeing it 3 weeks before moving - delayed our move date to coincide with the EEC installation date. EE cancelled my order without telling or asking me - meaning that I had to go back to the usual order wait time - absolutely speachless with rage and disbelief.
Then they sent me threatening letter reminding that I had 6 months of my contract to run and demanding £180, as I had terminated my connection at my old address - (they could work out that I was trying to move and they had my new address!).
If I was not going to lose £180 I would have gladly swapped
Now broadband is down and has been for 36 hours - we live in a city, the exchange is nearby - this is a BT issue - they can't fix their exchange.

The broadband drops out for a few minutes several times each day

I would not recommend EE or BT or any service that relies on BT I am going back to Virgin as soon as I can.

Live in High Street, same road as telephone exchange and still connected directly to the exchange by copper cable. This means we cannot have a fibre service until at some unknown future date BT update the cabling. So for years broadband is flaky with fluctuating speeds of between 7 & 15 mbs download and regular service interruption through line drops. EE & BT cannot improve the service until fibre is made available.

Retro style is fashionable in many areas, one can buy retro cars, clothes, furniture even wallpaper.
Lovers of nostalgic styles will be happy to note that EE have now launched their retro internet package. With EE "Broadband" you can now experience the internet as it was in the good old 1990's with abysmal download speeds and repeated dropped connection for seemingly no reason what so ever. hurrah I hear you say, for how long has the word buffering been missing from our lives. The excitement of waiting for a simple email to open, the near stalling of your connection when six o'clock approaches. Its all back with EE's internet package unfortunately they seem to have missed out the old 56k dialling tone which is a shame but otherwise its the complete experience of historical internet access.

okay if you never need to use customer service...
broadband worked well but would be throttled at timees.

i had an issue and called the customer service which was based in india. only wanted to make a minor change and they were utterly incompetent. Sending from department to department and then in the end saying the classic "our systems are down can you call back"

with so many other companies out there i've decided to just cancel my broadband with EE for one with actual customer service.

It is cheaper than BT, and faster than BT too (moved to fibre, and i still cost less). BUT I've been calling them non-stop for five days now (well, once approximately every hour) to get help with a technical issue. Every time I have had the message "There is currently no-one available to take you call <disconnect>".

I with no problems. my bill was getting high so I contacted customer service who offered me a great deal for 2 years, the problem now is my internet connection is so slow and cuts out which is annoying when I want to watch a TV programme. I think its a case of you get hat you pay for.

I switched over from aol and it took almost 7 weeks to get up and running but I have had nothing but trouble ever since. Patronising technical support /customer service from the Indian call centre who are forever putting me on mute or hanging up when they can't fix the problem of intermittent connection and terrible speeds ready to cancel.

PATHETIC, Avoid it, worst service you can get. Ordered a house move request, 15 days and engineer visit is done and still no sign of Broadband. I have spent hours on costly PHONE CALLS. You will reach customer care in 30 min waiting time and then customer care people will transfer your calls 5-6 times and in end some one will hang up. FRUSTRATED !! .... Please avoid. I will now have break contract and pay 100£ and shift to perhaps Virgin or someone else.

I would only recommend EE if you had no other option!
When the service went wrong, it took 3 months, 7 visits and 5 days off work to resolve. They closed the fault twice whilst it was still open with BT. As a 'good will gesture', they kindly gave me 3 months free - the same period that it didn't work for.
Shambles of a company that I am transferring both mobile and home accounts from.

Worst broadband i have ever experienced. Being I loyal EE mobile user, I decided to try their broadband.Apart from getting 5Gb data boost, theres nothing positive to it.It keeps disconnecting and the speed is terrible at night time.If you are thinking of getting their broadband, please don't. you will regret the decision.

4 stars because Toni at EE was genuinely trying to help. Unfortunately, her determination was not matched by the service. If the broadband connection lasts more than an hour, it must be while I'm asleep or not looking. Changing to another supplier and it really cannot happen soon enough. If you are thinking about moving to EE...don't

I got my act sorted when told that fsnet will be discontinued end of May and signed up to Gmail and sorted well in advance only to find orange / Ee continued the server until today which caused some problems this last month but today I have not been able to send or receieve emails and was told when I phoned 10am that by 6pm all should be fine. A busy day running a business with no email and now just finished 9.30pm and no one available to talk to. Nice some can finish early and leave behind faults and poor customer service until the next day. What do I do in the meantime unable to run my business...and where is my refund of months payment of poor service, if I treated my clients like this and just 'walked off' leaving problems on a very important change-over day, I wouldn't exist. I would have thought all working through the night to make sure the inconvenience caused to customer resolved....
