Very pleased with Direct Save. So nice to actually speak to a UK based human being when I get a problem: 1. Quite quickly 2. Who knows exactly what they're talking about! 3. Have had no problems with this company at all. Changed to them after being with sky for years, who's bills had gone astronomical. Changed after searching for better deal and found this one on U switch. Paid line rental year in advance (£11.50) a month saving me £8.49 a month compared to sky, and broadband deal of £1.95 a month (unlimited usage) saving another £6 month. Did everything on line and all was completed easily and satisfactory.
Sky cut line off dead on the dot of 8am on changeover leaving me with no phone so called direct save customer service spoke to a helpful young man who said he would check it out and were connected within the next half hour. No complaints about that..
Broadband speed is better than sky.
Surprised when first used it as to how quick it was. Have had no problem with any monthly bills for phone calls. The only thing is the free wifi router is obviously a cheap version but it works OK , it does drop out if wander too far away but easily corrected if use a better router or extender. Had my doubts before changing after reading reviews but unfounded all in all no problems or complaints. Thankyou Direct save and U Switch. Saving £15 a month . happy happy.☺

I have been a loyal BT customer for 25 years until I found out they had put by bill up 20% without informing me and wouldn’t give me a better deal unless I committed to an 18month contract. Moved to direct save on a recommendation and they have been marvellous, the customer service is fantastic and the phone and broadband are reliable, I had a problem connecting and they answered the call in under 2 minutes and sorted in 1 minute. They can’t do enough for you. Exceptional service.

I have been with direct save phone and broadband, for 3 yrs, I have not had a lot of reason to contact them, but resonantly I had a problem with modem,(I did not know this at the time of phoning)I can not fault the service given, fast and efficient. Best I have ever had from any supplier's in the past, and I am in my 60s.

I have been with this company a long number of years and have nothing but praise for their service. Their staff are knowledgeable, helpful, polite and friendly and do what they say they will do.
Over the last week we have had problems with falling and erratic broadband speed. On contacting DST they ran various tests which ultimately indicated router problems. A new router was despatched as promised. Regrettably I had problems setting it up but Lewis at DST spent approaching two hours on the'phone with me and sorted the problem. Result broadband now working better than ever.
I think some of the negative reviews are sour grapes whilst others could be personal conflict arising from how the customer approaches any problem.

I spoke to a lady called chante and she was very nice polite and found the best package for my needs and offered me a broadband deal that was a lot cheaper than i was paying and thought it was to good to be true as i had never heard of the company so i left it but then decided to look it up so i signed up on line and i must say im so pleases with the service thank you direct save

I pay for a fairly basic package which meets all my needs. Being able to speak to a real person in the UK is one of the reasons I've stuck with Direct Save; when I've had problems they've usually been good at sorting them out. Moving house has caused some problems, but this seems pretty general and they've been better than many I've heard about.

Due to living in a new build can only go with 1 of 4 companies initially went with direct save before reading the reviews and on reading the reviews immediately after tried to cancel was made aware that there was no cooling off period and no chance of getting a refunding or cancelling this was not made clear at any time and was told to read the terms and conditions however the router did arrive the next day and was easy to install my 16 year old actually did it herself. I have had no issues with the broadband service at all at the moment and so far in all seems well. The customer service is admittedly not that professional and when I mentioned I had wanted to cancel due to negative reviews the lady I spoke too was quite defensive and a bit rude but calls were answered quite promptly so all in all I guess I can't complain too much at this stage.

London Direct Save  
I have been with DST since 2007 and have had a very reliable service with just one outage, due to a fire at a London exchange.

My speed was 5.7 meg at its highest and I am now getting a steady 3.4 meg. The lower speeds are more to do with my BT line and exchange than anything to do with DST.

Always a very polite and fast response ro calls.

After being let down with talktalk not fulfilling their promise i tuned to directsave. i have been with them 4 month and to be honest i dont get a great speed (9mbps) but at-least it was up on t/talks at a fraction of the cost...Lets hear the good for directsave.

I left Talktalk early 2016 to join dst after 18 month of dissatisfaction with the corrupt talktalk. I'm now on cheaper broadband and better speeds with dst.After a couple of issues with dst in the early days, everything got resolved without problem.
b/b speeds, customer service and price are far better than talktalk. I'm happy.

The speed and reliability isn't as good as I had hoped but my area has poor reception and connection. Customer service is great, operators are polite and friendly, and still professional. Any problems or glitches have been dealt with speedily. Would recommend (just need to pick up my flat and move it to a better location)

Switched from Sky and should have done it long ago. Great savings and the contract price guaranteed for 2 years, unlike sky who constantly put it up! Change over was easy with no problems. I would definitely recommend Direct Save if your looking for a good value for money provider.

The signal strength in some parts of my house was weak. I asked for advice on a local FB forum and one suggestion was to contact the provider and ask them to change the frequency. The 2nd one was to instal a range extender.
When I spoke to Directsave, I got the same advice and since installing the range extender, the signal strength has improved a lot.
