After you sign up it all changes I have been in contact for 4 months and they do not listen They have sent me phone call evidence of my call but they will not listen to it to prove what I have said is true DO NOT SIGN UP TO VIRGIN MEDIA

I have been with Virgin media for 13 years along with a mortgage account with Virgin Money. Virgin media charged me £92.98 when I should be paying £49.71 On asking they said they did not receive the faulty hub that was returned through Royal Mail. I don't have the postal receipt for the parcel as it is over 60 days. I did requested to resolve the issue and they asked me to get in touch with Royal Mail which is impossible as Royal Mail don't respond to claims. Still Virgin Media brushes me off. Their manager did not even bother to reply to my request for an escalation. Very disappointed with @Virgin Media Date of experience: 10 April 2025

Been with Virgin nearly 20 years. Asked to down grade from full package to internet only. The dodgy people Virginmedia don’t allow you to do this on the web portal. You have to chat or ring Chat 3 hours on chat with 3 different people. Unable to provide internet only Rang up spoke to retention lady offered £51 but not able to help.gave me another number unable to pass through Rang another number she told me she could only offer package need a spelt team Rang another number spoke to a horrible bloke. Can offer you £71 for lowest speed possible 125 I said you are offering prices on the web page for £25 to £35. You are not a new customer we treat you differently and you don’t get these offers. Went to another provide £31 500 meg, said it will go up in 26 by £2 with inflation. Virgin then started to hound me with retention calls, but never left message Horrible company

Bottom line is that it delivers what is promised 99% of the time. Speeds up and down are incredible. It is very, very rare for there to be any outage and when there is it is usually a 'blip' of only a few minutes.

Been with virgin media for years. Yes they can be trying sometimes and can test the patience of an angel ???? Overall they offer a good broadband service for the money. Service hasn't been perfect,but generally speaking we get what we pay for. Every 18 months as an existing customer you have to make that dreadful phone call to the retention team in the hope of getting a decent deal. This isn't guaranteed. I've found out that if you persist you can ultimately get a deal,but boy you have to be patient. I mentioned that another rival was on my doorstep offering much higher speeds for a lower price...this seemed to work because virgin media offered me a better deal than what was originally offered. So they've got me for another 18 months. I'm happy!???? My wallet is!???? My wife is!???? My kids are!????

Virgin Media are terrible. Their customer service is very difficult to access. My blood pressure shoots up when I speak to them. They don't like to follow up with an email, either. When they say they're going to fix a billing problem they don't do it. I've had numerous issues with them over billing. They even cancelled our direct debit at one point. We didn't know they had done this. Virgin Media needs looking into.

The internet services received from Virgin Media has been almost flawless for the 15+ years we`ve been with them. Constantly upgrading their lowest package up to the now ~132MB. The problem being that they have, until recently, had the monopoly on fibre broadband and their prices reflect that. Their new customer prices are insanely low (although still not cheap) compared to what the standard monthly prices are, and that needs to change.

They were fine while I was with them for my broadband but since my contact ended on a weekend and my new supplier (along with most if not all suppliers I suspect) doesn't do installations on weekends I was put in a position where I had to pay Virgin Media leave them. Pay an early termination fee to leave on the Friday, pay for out of contact internet to leave on the Monday. Customer service chat entirely unhelpful (its just procedure, even though during an earlier chat I was told there would be no termination fee due to been the last month of my contract). This has all left a very bitter taste in my mouth (when I was already annoyed that their recontract offers were not as good as new customer deals, hence why I was leaving). I will never use them again.
