Absolutely crap , swapped from the post office and can't wait to leave , spend most of my time on 4g because the internet is slow and drops out . Never had a full day of constant connection and when you ring up you get robbed off . Would not recommended to anyone |

Well... where do I start with this review? Anyone who reads this should know that I went into this whole processes optimistic as myself I had read countless reviews online, not only that my brother had recently switched to Vodafone an is extremely knowledgeable like myself in IT, Networking and broadband in general. |

Worst broadband I have ever had. Continuously dropping out, failing to load pages and less cover arond my house. Gaving read other reviews I beleive it may be a problem with the Vodafone routers. I am now returning to my previous supplier, who though offer lower speeds, were significantly faster and worked all the time. Sort it out Vodafone... |

Think carefully before using this company. Yes they’re cheap, but Customer Service is overseas and unfortunately abysmal. Mostly polite, but completely ineffective even with the basics. My rating is actually ZERO stars. |

Ok to start of this review the first 2 months not much of an issue. Then the internet started to cut out every now and again we have an old line we’re we live so not that upset phone up to see if we can get some help it takes 7 times to even get through to someone they can’t help us apparently then 2 days later internet just cuts out for no reason phone up another 3 times to be told that only the account holder can make a complaint and when they did sent an engineer out who didn’t even arrive so had to reschedule for him to come and say he’s fixed it. It lasted 5 minutes before it cut out again are you serious! Been a week and a half with no internet they sent a new router still no change at all I have to use the internet for my work and I’m screwed without it. To sum it up if you like a house without and terrible customer service then vodofone is for you |

I am impressed with the broadband speed with Vodaphone and have found it much quicker to download a page on the internet compared to Sky. |

Thanks to some monitoring equipment from a independent organisation that provide deep statistical data for ISPs and governments alike (data that is part of the set they use to report on broadband rankings around the world), I have the advantage for being able to properly monitor and compare my internet connectivity and performance at a very detailed level. I've been chatting to Vodafone's technical support and while it's quite clear they do their best, they have no answers to the problem I presented them. I can prove that on a given day in November, Netflix download speeds went from over 30mb to less than 8mb overnight and stayed that way. I have a lovely high 30mb connection since April 2018 when I joined until 7th November when it drops to 8mb and stays there. We have also seen the effect on other video and gaming services. Their fix doesn't make any sense at all (from a technical standpoint. I work in the IT industry so have some idea of what I'm talking about here) and I very much doubt will resolve this issue. I've seen no evidence of any improvement yet that is for sure but I wait to see. However the fix basically means NOT using Vodafone's DNS servers as they don't work correctly and instead changing the router settings to use Google's DNS servers instead. Not really a fix but more of a cop-out and doesn't really address the problem I was having anyway. Also DNS is monitored by the service I mentioned I have so I know that isn't the root cause. I think I will be leaving as soon as the contract is up. |

They are really bad on providing a good service. They scamed me couble of times and. One when there where an Internet disconnection and they gave me a mobile prodband for ferr to use it till they solve the issue. After a month they charge me |

Yousef | Edinburgh | Vodafone | 2019-01-30
IF you like having the internet then don’t switch to vodafone. Since switching over I have never had a stable connection, I think dropping out 9 times in an hour was the record. The technical service is also very very poor, each time you call you get what seems like a completely random solution. Avoid like the plague, I am now moving back to my previous supplier and would never consider them again. |

They are one of the cheapest on the market for a reason. If it was FREE, I would say no to them! Download speed was a joke. They needed 10 days to do all the checks and speed judgement and guess what..it was still below any expected standards!! I used sky before and it was only the price that attracted me. CHEAPER MEANS WORSE!!! AVOID AT ALL COST!!! Oh and they said its due do my geographical location - complete and utter load of B*****S. Plusnet arrived and 3x faster than VODAFONE! AVOID! |

Started with vodaphone may 2018 had a few hiccups with going live dates ,at first ok as it has been mostly ,but to get a speed check you have to down load an app called OOKLA and your laptop has to hard wired ,I use wifi so if I complained about the speed that would be pointed out to me .all in all it's better than TALK TALK AND ORIGIN I've said this before on this site it's a lottery oh and don't ask about broadband problems in the high st branches of vodaphone Clueless isn't the word .byebye |

Where should I start...I ordered the broadband to my new address, they sent the start up package to my old address!!. Luckily I had access to the old address. I then called to get the installation date changed, which they agreed to....a couple days before the installation date I decided to call them to confirm, only to be told the date I asked for has not been requested. I decided to cancel the whole thing, they agreed to cancel and that I would have to wait 10 working days for the initial payment of £60.00 to be refunded. This all took place at the beginning of December 2018...we are now at the end of Jan 2019 and Im still awaiting my refund. Ive called countless times and spent at least 4 - 5 hours collectively on the phone, and spoke to so many people who all gave me different stories...When I did finally speak to someone who had some sense, he told me I cant get a refund until I return the package and he would send the returns envelope to me asap. 11 days have passed and still nothing. I have now contacted them for the 100th time and spoke to yet another person, who said will send the package today....From my point of view, this company has the worst customer service ever. Every person who works there does not know their arse from their elbow. Avoid them like the plague guys... If you have the same issues, I suggest you persist and let them get piece of your mind. The amount of time I have wasted has easily surpassed the £60.00 refund. |

I feel the need to write a good review after all the concerning reviews written for almost all of the ISPs! I was worried to get a really bad service after doing some research about any of the main ISPs. I recently moved and was with VM before but it wasn't available in the new building so I signed up to Vodafone Superfast 2. Guaranteed speeds promised around 50Mbit down/12Mbit up. When the engineer came he said I could expect around 50-60Mbit and the Router initially synced with around 63. That was 4 weeks ago and meanwhile the router gradually increased the sync speed to 76Mbit down. No reconnects, stable speeds even at peak time. 20Mbit upload. Effective download speed is around 9MB/sec = 72Mbit. Couldn't be happier given that is the current maximum for this type of line. Also the router is quite decent, has good coverage and a lot of configurable options in the web interface. |

they expect the customer to open the bt socket which is illegal just so they can run tests, they even asked me to open the bt socket with a screw driver i mean WHAT if i was a old person they said they could not fix the issue without this, i have been told by BT that if i touch it and there is a issue then i will be charge for a minimum of £50 for a engineer call out |

Truly the worst broadband I have ever had. Disconnection issues every morning, so having to call Vodafone customer services every morning. |

Arun Bal | Croyon, Surrey, UK | Vodafone | 2019-01-27
Absolutely disgraceful. Go live date was missed and it took hours of phone calls and aggravation to get the internet live, including an Openreach engineer turning up at my door unannounced. Once this had been completed and the internet went live, it was incredibly slow despite speeds of at times 71.0 mbps and sometimes varying down to 2 mbps. This meant streaming and downloading via Sky Q was impossible. Whatever I did this was the same. I think this was a mixture of poor service from the exchange and the router being if shocking quality. Devices would disconnect and sometimes not be able to find an internet connection. Keep your sanity and stay with your current broadband provider, as cancelling was a hassle! I am now back with BT and receiving consistent speeds of 70 mbps and all of my devices are working perfectly. Going with Vodafone meant that I had to change my landline number and faced connection problems with BT. |

Ross Marks | Frinton-on-Sea | Vodafone | 2019-01-26
Worst experience of switching to a new broadband provider. Easy set up, quick delivery before the switch date, then a rediculously bad experience. The speed, which was previously 35mbps with BT is now 0.6 mbps with Vodafone. I have spent every day on live chat with them which takes a half hour to get through to someone, and livechat was used as I held for 40 mins on the phone and didn’t get through to anyone. I’ve been advised to change my channel, advised to wait 24 hours, they reset some settings, advised to connect items by Ethernet instead, advised to disconnect everything and just use one device. Vodafone have now lost my business and it is atrocious that they are even allowed to offer broadband as a service. |

Trash internet. Don't be tempted by the price and speeds if you need a reliable connection. I've had to be in contact with customer support 4 times in 4 months. The extra you would pay for virgin or other fibre is well worth it. |

James | Leicester | Vodafone | 2019-01-26
Awful! Tried several providers and Vodafone has definitely been the worst. Paying a bomb for supposedly superior wifi, but in fact often glitches when streaming on just one device, and I've been totally unable to use it for work from the upstairs room in our relatively small house! Useless customer service keeps me talking ages and basically just tells me to switch the channels! |

The worst broadband we've ever had. Speed is tempting but what you gonna do with it if you cannot connect to the Internet????? Its like that almost every single day, I have to use my phone mobile data to use it. Its really bad I'm considering cancelling my agreement with them |

Took fibre on with fast speeds promissed or discount given till fixed. After a time speed was still very poor so they gave me a discount till fixed.Months in to contract no attempt to get speed any better. £3 off bill is a cheap cop out when they can't provide anything like what was promissed.A real disappointment. |

I'm reporting one of the biggest con jobs I've come across after BoZo's Brexit lies. In fact I'm open-mouthed at VF's cheek relating to their 'Ultimate Speed Guarantee'. I - as it seems many others commenting here - thought it related to the Internet speed I could obtain on my broadband, and if it went below that figure, in my case on Superfast 2 55Mbps, I'd get a refund. It was only when my tests on Ookla showed that at times I was getting less than half that, I started researching further and eventually downloaded VF's own app on which to check speeds. It was only then - after being told my download speed was 80Mbps did I realise these total shysters measure the speed between my flat and the green box over the road! They then have the cheek to confirm my 'sync speed' is above the USG and presumably I don't get any compensation. Crooks. |

I have only been with Vodafone a couple of months but already want to switch away from them due to the terrible customer service I had. We were due to move house and informed them that we needed to set up the broadband at the new house but was told it would take nearly 30 days to complete. We are in the new house still waiting for the broadband activation. I contacted them today to confirm we were still due to be activated soon and got told that they house move had got cancelled on the day I set it up! So we have been waiting for nothing this entire time and they cant even explain why it was cancelled. Neither was I informed that it was cancelled and was told that i would just have to sign up again via the sales team. The customer service is a complete joke. |

Scott Jenkins | Bristol | Vodafone | 2019-01-06
Truly awful broadband. Continuously cuts out every single evening. Customer support is an Indian call centre who twice promised me callbacks, and failed to do so on both occasions. Raised a complaint online and got a callback from someone in the UK which fixed a modem problem, but not the stability. The provided speed is faster than plusnet; of course this is only when it works. Due to the constant lose of connection (the ps4 once notified me that Vodafone changed my IP address mid download, hence the lost connection to the server), I will be cancelling the contract as soon as I am able, and never returning. They are one of the cheapest on the market for a reason. There are a few reviews on this site giving them maximum scoring. I honestly don't believe a single one is legit. |

We fell for the scam of "if your broadband falls below a speed we will refund you". When we first swapped from the really poor talk talk to voda we were getting 27-35mps all good, then 2 weeks in I started slowing. We used they're app to report and they apologised and gave us money off. |

Recent reliabilty issues, disconnected for 2+ weeks in October and again for 10 days over Christmas. Not all Vodafones fault, the incompetence ofsome of Openreach's engineers account for some of this. However, the appalling service from most of Vodafone's support team has finally made me decide to terminate my contract with them. Several times calls were ended, online chat the same and various promised follow ups - referrals on never materialised. They seem to think that now they have a larger share of the market customer service has gone by the by. |

Saj | Bridgend | Vodafone | 2018-12-31
Broadban is easy to connect and speed is good for my need but setting up broadband to meet needs of my family is a total nightmare! I with another provider I could connect to router in offline mode and I was able to set up individual time for each device which is impossible here and softwae is is user unfriednly and very primitive in comparison to other websites. I would not choose vodafone despite a good price if I knew that software is so bad. |

After a week long wait of investigation into why my fibre 2 broadband so slow at peak times they called me today to say it’s congestion and that it’s not a technical fault.... they say that as I am getting 62 mbps to the router I can’t cancel my account even though they then throttle the broadband to below 10mbps in peak time .... this is a complete rip off and I advise anybody to stir clear of this disgusting service I will be taking my details and evidence to Ofcom |

Horrendous experience already and not even connected yet. Day 2 into contract and already been given 3 different activation dates. Now without broadband completely. Apparently there is a fault on my line even though my sky broadband was working perfectly yesterday morning before they took it over. Big big mistake moving from sky and intend to cancel the contract |
| |||
Bev Myers | Essex | Vodafone | 2018-12-12
Left Sky to go to Vodafone. Activation/swap over on time and all good. Router arrived before this date as promised so from a customer service point of view not complaints. Router comes pre-fixed with a lot of features enabled that I think slows down/impairs performance. After a few days speed had massively dropped and connection was wavey. They do optimise the line in the first ten days but it shouldn't cause so many FEC corrections and errors/speed drops. Switching a lot of these off on the router appears to have fixed this. Speed has been 63mpbs continually, no drops and wi-fi speed all over a three storey house is very good and a huge improvement on Sky. So far so good but router needs tweaking, app is a nice touch although the "beam wi-fi" feature appears to have gone. |

My broadband activation date was tomorrow on the 11th December. Today I called vodafone to ask why I had still not received my new router, I was told that my order had been cancelled as it had 'fallen through the cracks'. Lots of apologies and was told that I would have to re-create the order and join the back of the queue. Pretty awful service really. |

Just got the Superfast2 activated on 23rd of November. The advertised speed was guaranteed 55mbs and guess what, it never got over 4mbs in between 4pm-11pm(peak time). Barelly can load a browser page. I complained more that 20 times to their first line techincal useless team wich are making the same useless and pointelss diagnostics. They don't have a clue of what is happening and a clue of how to solve issues. Techteam 2 on the other hand, a bunch of inconsistent liars, every time they got a service ticket they are marking it as solved, and every time nothing real being made. Liars full of ***t. I you want to get a stable reliable ISP, avoid this one wilt all costs.Pay more if necessary |
| |||
FLORIN | Kent | Vodafone | 2018-12-10
Waited 3 weeks for activation to only find out that the address was incorrect (it was the flat above who got disconnected from her internet as a result). They then had to do a complete new order with the ‘correct’address where I had to wait another 2 weeks, to only find out the address was wrong AGAIN. It was now a different block completely. I then finally find out that my address is not on the system and therefore had to cancel it altogether. 2 weeks later anf I am still waiting for my refund. Definitely do not recommend them and not wish for anyone to endure the anger and time I have had to with them. |

Shocking. Having switched from SSE (which was excellent) having been taken in with the Vodafone space game TV marketing the service has been totally unacceptable. I rarely get above 3Mb/s in the day from my 37Mb/s fibre connection entirely as a result of capacity issues on the Vodafone network. Having complained nothing other than BS from the Vodafone rep. Now requesting early release from my contact. Totally unacceptable. Avoid. |

They are lucky to even get 1 star!!! Im absolutely raging with vodafone. I have only been with them 3 weeks and i am cancelling. I signed up for fibre and my guaranteed speed was 35mgb.. that lasted maybe 5 days. Ever since then my line keeps dropping.. it even stopped working for 2 whole days, no one knew how to fix it, they just left it and eventually it came back. |

Awful, we made the move from Sky and have regretted it since. Then phone line lost dialing tone 3 months ago, reported it, still waiting for action, now broadband has dropped speed by 75%...but the Vodafone app says it's full 40mbps, independent app says 7mbps, can't load half the websites and resort to mobile data constantly. I want to leave but can't get through to customer services! 3 hour wait each time...AVOID |

If I could give a minus review I would. The WORST company I have dealt with by far. Supposed to activate broadband services on 21st November. Two weeks later, still nothing. Spent hours on phone on three occasions, most of the time on hold listening to Fleetwood Mac. People I speak with are useless and can't resolve problem. Can't even explain clearly what problem is. They don't acknowledge e mail complaints or complaints sent by post. Trouble seems to be that they mis sell something they can't actually provide. They claim they can supply to your postcode but when it comes down to the activation date then it turns out that they don't actually have the capacity to supply what they said they could. You have to come to this realisation yourself as they won't tell you. They will just give you vague assurances that it will be fixed by Open Reach at some vague future date. |

Join Vodafone broadband in October this year total price would be £23 for existing Vodafone customers unfortunately there is no option for them to add a 5 pound discount so I have to paid £28 a month for 18 months the speed of the broadband is nowhere near what they appetising Wi-Fi is rubbish No good for streaming continually dropping out customer services are absolutely rubbish do not have a clue what they’re talking about you just get passed from department to department I’m going to cancel this contract early just to get away from Vodafone |

Absolutely and utterly useless. I have mobile.phone with broadband and felt ok lets give these a try. Massive mistake. They left me without broadband for 1.5 months after simply failing to complete the order with openreach. Twice. So so infuriating. Left.and moved to BT. Seamless. |

Mikeeb | N. Ireland | Vodafone | 2018-12-01
promised 55mbs , after 5-6 oclock till midnight down to 2-3mbs . customer service is a merry go round of people reading from a script who all say the same thing. far to many layers to actually get to the person you want. spent more time on phone either waiting in ques or being passed to someone else, who would then tell you to do same thing. and if you email complaint if you have not got vodafone number it wont send. so atfer 10 calls ,an engineer visit who said nowt wrong with line . im off to pastures new. dont touch with barge pole. look at vodafone community first. |

Anil Kumar | Harrow | Vodafone | 2018-11-27
When we first joined Vodafone we were getting around the advertised 30+ speed. Recently the speed has dropped alarmingly some days, when we struggle to get anything done. Now it sits around the 20 level all the time. We have never had such low speeds from any other suppliers since we started to get fibre. Unfortunately we have quite a while to run on our contract. Avoid Vodafone if you want reliable so-called super fast broadband. |

Painful. stay away. They told me I could keep my existing landline and that I should cancel my contract with my current provider. I cancelled it and of course they could not bring the number over. The free gift offer is a convoluted process (I suspect loads of people probably didn't get the gift) - I didn't get the email and then I was told I could claim the gift and then I was told I couldn't because I was outside of the time limit...but I didn't get the email... |

Never went live !!!!! Waste of my time and money, they have agreed to cancel and I have even had emails confirming cancellation to then see that they are still charging me for a service which I have never had !!! I’m so annoyed can’t believe how many times I have called and how many hours of my life I have wasted on this company. I am also a mobile customer and will now find a new supplier for that also. Hate that a company as big as this can get it sooooo wrong without apology and no actual knowledge |

Without doubt the WORST Broadband provider I have ever had...Disputed how slow the speed was at my end, claimed it was my internal connections at my property that was causing the problem which an engineer who attended confirmed it was not and blamed the service provider. I consider that Vodafone are taking my subscription under false pretences and if they can't supply the minimum service then they should be held accountable.... |

Very slow download speeds(5mbps) when they garanteed 50+mbps. Don't bother calling them, the staff don't have a qlue what's going on half the time. Massive struggle to get activated, sent 2 routers and we had to send one back. Do not accept the Internet dongle. Massive hidden charges! |

Utter garbage. 9 Months of pathetic unreliable service. Once you’ve reconnected each day it’s tediously slow. We don’t even bother connecting our phones to the WiFi any more as the 4g is 100 times faster. |
| |||
Craig | Stirlingshire | Vodafone | 2018-11-23
I’ve got the 35mbps deal and my usual speed test is around 15 so spoke to vodafone and got it sorted for 5 mins it was ok and went back to the same and this carried on throughout my 12 month contract. Funny how they always manage to make it ok almost instantly when you contact them? Any way I cancelled giving my 30 days notice and the moment I did this my speeds are no more than 5 mbps!!! Complete joke! Now they can’t make it any better apparently, I wonder if this is because I’ve cancelled my subscription? even though it’s not supposed to expire until the end of the month, it’s basically non existent any way!!! Vodafone are a joke. |
| |||
Craig | Crowborough | Vodafone | 2018-11-23
Signed up for superfast 2, guaranteed speeds of +55mbps. Daytime speeds fluctuate between 5-25mbps. In the evenings it's around 5-15mbps. Have spoken to them numerous times - they finally admitted they have oversubscribed and they can't achieve those speeds. Another thing, their app is garbage, says you have 80mbps, when you have 5. Will speak with Ofcom and Trading Standards. |
| |||
Mat | Southampton | Vodafone | 2018-11-23
Had Vodafone for a while now, broadband as well as 2 mobile contracts, never had a problem....until last month. The speeds dropped to 217KBPS on my ps4. online chat is useless, reading off sheets and constantly telling you to change the frequency channels and it'll improve after 24 hours (it doesn't). phone up to get passed from department to department, honestly folks...dial up is faster. currently sat looking for a more reliable provider. just avoid them. |

Zero stars. I don’t know where to start. Poor internet quality, engineers that didn’t show up (twice) requested to cancel which was ignored- actually set me up with a new activation date instead! All this plus call centres in a non English speaking country. Extremely poor! Avoid like the plague. |

Awful company - do not be enticed by cheap fibre deals!! If you are likely to move home in the 18mnth contract, this is not for you. You either have to pay the extrortionatr early termination fee or take out a new contract at a much higher price. All in all this will cost us £150 extra, and we were over half way through our old contract (old address). They force you into a new contact by making the old one overlap, and do not give you a new cooling off period!! |

I am utterly regretful that I bought vodafone broadband. The speed is so awful, I can not even connect. I have spent couple hours with different vodafone advisers and it is not solved yet. Moreover, the deal I bought also included free gift and when I tried to register, the system did not let me and it was said that I should wait 2 months for gift registration and besides they would send me mail regarding free gift.I trusted them and now I have learnt that due date for gift was over and as you can predict, I have been shocked because I have not get any mail so far. |

Worst company ever never resolve a problem just keep you on the line for hours. Online help of no use either. Of late my Landline was barred with no warning; because my wife's mother abroad had passed away and she had to make extra calls abroad; they would not unbar the line until my wife paid extra plus interest to them with a credit card and then the line was unusable for a day. AVOID this company keep away. |

Everyone reviews for bad experiences. I've been with Vodafone for the best part of a year and it's been a very good and reliable year. The router is reliable and has good range within my 3 bed house. I can stream seamlessly and I can't actually think of a single time it has done the annoying "buffering" thing! Customer service when I called over the last 2 days has been excellent - fair and not pushy at all. Overall I've been pleased with Vodafone's broadband. |

AVOID. I'm 7 calls in, I have had my router sent to the wrong address despite two phone calls to get the address corrected on the system, letters, texts and emails with different addresses for the engineer visit and I'm being told that if I'm lucky an engineer will be with me 18 days after I signed up for home broadband (after an hour wait to speak to customer services). I don't even have vodaphone broadband yet and I already wish I had never gone near this company. Avoid. |

I joined vodafone having had a terrible experience with nowtv but that is another story ....swapped to vodafone and things are possibly worse ! I was promised when I signed up that I could keep my home phone no ( had it 30 yrs ) so no way could I remember another . Spoke to a very helpful uk call centre on joining ( they are ever so good when they want you to sign up ) . I was told I had to wait three weeks for connection ...fairly normal apparently . Connection day came and guess what they've issued another number . Spoke to the tech team ( call centre in India I think ) and was told they would sort in 24 hrs ....did they ? Course not . Phoned back and was told a minimum of ten days . However as an act of good will they wouldn't charge me for the home phone for those ten days .....errrr I should think not !! I'm not paying for what I haven't had . They are a frustrating joke . I shall leave within my cooling off period and return to sky with my tail between my legs . |

the absolute worst broadband I've ever had. Switched from Sky as was promised super fast broadband up to 40mb and never below 38mb - I never get this speed! They're supposed to refund you for every day that you dont get the speed you pay for and they make every excuse not to pay you and blame you for the speed? I live in a small flat and my son gets a better connection connecting to our neighbours in the next block of flats rather than our wifi box which is less than 5 metres from his room! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. |

I switched from Plusnet over to Vodafone because of a cheap deal which turned out to be a big mistake. I've regularly had limited service and buffering compared to my service with Plusnet and By before then. Although they have apologised and given me 50gb to tether with whilst without service, nothing beats reliable broadband. I loose service most evenings even for just a few moments which is annoying to say the least. Think I'll be switching back to Plusnet. |

Changed from Sky due to price and guaranteed min speed of 25mbs. Guaranteed speed is a joke. App said synced at 25 mbs but speed test software saying around 5 mbs. They dropped the price by 15% but it is not worth the money. Sky was very reliable, very rarely dropped out and speed was pretty consistent. I would not recommend changing to this ISP unless you are willing to put up with regular drop outs and poor speeds. You get what you pay for. |

THE WORST BROADBAND EVER! Thought I’d save money by getting fibre for £20 per month through Vodafone. Constantly drops out and I can’t even load webpages in less than 5 minutes. YouTube videos don’t load in 360p and the internet kicks my Xbox offline every 15 minutes. Contact Vodafone for them to tell me that my exchange is overloaded on the fibre line and that it’s an Openreach issue, and not their fault. I contact Openreach to find out that they have no idea what I’m talking about! Vodafone will just fob you off constantly. I would rather spend £100 per month if it meant I would have reliable fast internet |

I found it shockingly difficult to speak to anyone who knows what's in the package I signed up for. Everyone I've spoken to about an item which didn't arrive in the post fobs me off to a different department, then i'm put on hold for 10mins in between each question. eventually they explain I have to wait 10 working days. Just another way to stop me trying to resolve the problem for a while. |

I would recommend vodafone to anyone who fancies living without internet for two months. If not, then avoid at all costs. I wish I could comment on the speed but we are still currently waiting for an engineer to pay us a visit. Our first scheduled visit around the start of July had to be cancelled. However, when my partner tried to cancel it he was told that he couldn’t. When the engineer arrived to find that no one was in he called my partner and shouted abuse at him down the phone. Vodafone then rescheduled our appointment for two weeks time. The engineer did not turn up. When we contacted vodafone they had no idea why the engineer didn’t turn up and said they would call in a few days with information. Eventually we had to call them as they had forgotten to call us back. They rescheduled AGAIN for two weeks time on the 1st of August. During our wait, a member of the vodafone team accessed my partners personal details and messaged him on whatsapp which was completely inappropriate. The engineer failed to visit again and when we contacted vodafone, like the last time, they said they would contact us in a few days. Again, they did not. When my partner called they blamed OpenReach and the best they could do is reschedule for the 21st of August. They’ve tried to win us over with a free gift but just like the engineers, it probably won’t turn up either. Vodafone are completely unreliable and from what i’ve read, the wifi isn’t that great either. AVOID! |

Changed from BT to Vodafone Superfast 2 broadband, with call bundle on the landline. Running up to switch over was set reminders from Vodafone and router arrived as promised. On the day the switch of broadband was seamless and not had any problems with coverage, reliability or speed. On BT my download was 55Mbps and after three weeks is 49Mbps, so a little slower but doesn't cause any issues for Netflix at 4K, iplayer etc. Phone was switched over as I kept the same number don't have caller ID but not investigated that as yet. The Vodafone Router is working well, I have a TPLINK VR9000 which I used with BT as a replacement to their hub, only issue was I tried to retain my existing SSID and password, SSID wasn't an issue but the router imposed rules on the password which meant I had to change every device in the house, which is when you realise how many items you !! Will keep the Vodafone router in place for the time being and the TPLink as backup just in case. Overall, very please with the service so far and saving me a significant amount of money from BT's exorbitant charges. |

Vodafone guaranteed 10.8 Mbs upfront in writing, initially all went well with installation etc. After a couple of weeks the internet speed started to cause spooling and drop out, speeds of 7.8 Mbs according to Vodafone but Oopla showed 7 Mbs. Router and incoming box was changed and all okay for a couple of weeks and a repeat of previous problem, Vodafone agreed speed had dropped off to 6.4 Mbs but watching TV and tele-conferencing, not together caused spooling and connection loss. Complained and was given the normal checks and they agreed that the rate had fallen to below the 6.4 and was at 5.8 Mbs, Oopla shows 4.8 Mbs. Final outcome more spooling, line down more often but Vodafone has given a whopping 15% discount on monthly charge and basically said live with it or go to another provider. Problem no Virgin in the area and Openreach will be backup so nothing will change. Speed at box is 21 Mbs so telegraph line is degrading quality to circa 5 Mbs (75%), so money being taken for service provided and maintenance but the latter not being done as distance from box to router calls should provide circa 15 Mbs. Vodafone is not in control of Openreach and therefore supplies rubbish Broadband. |

Do not consider Vodafone if you need business support. I tried to buy a business broadband and landline package but the engineers did not come on the confirmed date to install it. After repeated calls I was told days later that the engineers had reported a problem with the installation before the installation date, but Vodafone had not passed on this information to me or attempted to reschedule the appointment. All this took a long time to sort out because calls to customer services have to go via home broadband support and incur long delays on hold while they put you though to a business support agent. I was told there is not a direct line phone number for business support. After a great deal of wasted time I have cancelled the contract. |

Changed from BT to Vodafone and am on Superfast 1 broadband, with voicemail on the landline. Switchover of broadband was seemless and not had any problems with coverage, reliability or speed. Phone was swtiched over and was able to keep the same number but voicemail wasn't added. I phoned up four times until it was finally added on. The staff were very nice each time but the fact I was told three times it was to be added in the next 24 hours, and it never was, was a bit of a nuisance. Also, the line dropped whilst put on hold on two of the calls. So overall I'd recommend as the service itself is good, despite the poor customer service. |

Despite promising me that I could keep my landline number, I have lost it, and the combined forces of the Chief Execs offices at Vodafone and BT seem incapable of retrieving it. Vodafone have now agreed to compensate me. Do not believe them if they say you can keep your number. They will give you a new number and then have no interest in porting your old one. |

Avoid Vodafone like the plague. They are incredibly badly organised, and just don't have the organisational ability to run a broadband service. I had so many issues getting set up - all caused by Vodafone doing things wrong with the installation and mischarging me. They terminated an existing line instead of transferring it, they over charged me - and every time you want to talk to them it's 5 mins of automated telephone bot asking you questions till you get through. Everyone you speak to says something different etc etc - they wont ever email you anything either so you can't have a record of what they said. Just awful customer experience. The router is shoddy and drops out regulary. If you ever want to move they say you have to pay the balance of your contract or sign up to a new 18 month contract - which is basically extortion. Total joke of a company. |

Awful can't wait to leave my contract. Paying for super fast broadband but getting 7.5 Mbps per second only. Can't stream Netflix unless every one and the cat goes into airport mode on their devices. Have had the router replaced twice and been without broadband for upto 2 months. The 'mansplaining' customer service is awful, like having a cervix makes you instantly unable to figure out WPS! can't wait to leave my contract |

This company is seriously a joke. Placed my order online, received confirmation and followup direct debit emails. Also received the router and then till the agreed installation day no comms. We tried a number of other providers and they all provide a cheap router which doesn"t even get the signal upstairs (we bought a booster), every Thursday the service grinds to a halt and its a total waste of time trying over the weekend. Like the VW emissions scam Im sure the providers falsify the speed tests as we can even run a movie from Thursday onwards yet the speed tests shows its just above their service contract level. Total scam, then when you call customer services they put you through the same monkey tests every time as if your an idiot, we go through these every fecking day without being patronised by someone reading from a script in India. Its a total rip off, we wont be renewing with Vodafone thats for sure. |

I called Vodafone to agree I promise to pay. I had my phone stolen and my bill came to £93 pound!! I told them o also had cash stolen from me. They were meant to take £44 out my account on 14th and rest on 23rd. However they took it out my account on 1st August and left me with no money. I h as be children to provide for and now NO MONEY.Even management wont help!! Do t get contract with Vodafone. Robbers!! So disappointed and now in trouble. I switched to Vodafone from TalkTalk as they were unable to match the Vodafone offer which was ten pound a month cheaper and double the speed. The switchover was completely seamless and now getting 75MBPS download and around 20 MBPS upload. The service is 100% reliable and I 100% recommend it. |

Don't touch them with a barge poll. My broadband has been disconnected for almost two weeks in error. If I ring up I am given dates when it might be back up- one definite they said. Very poor customer service. Fibre broadband lag or drops or even disconnects for a while. Havent recieved service for 2 months and they could not fix the issue. Told them i would like to cancel and the advisor said either i pay £156 to leave the contract or the down time i had and paid those bills they will not refund. They just found a way to make money out of me. I would not recommend vodafone broadband. Rather go to talktalk, BT or plusnet. |

So arranged to have Vodaphone Fibre June 21, via chat. All arranged or so I thought to be connected 23 July, they put up a DD 22nd June....not taking any chances there. Today is 23 July, router arrived a couple of days ago so all set up and ready !!!! Router on since midnight 22nd but no connection by 4pm so I phoned, guess what THEY HAD CANCELLED THE ORDER 2 DAYS AGO, apparently not enough info on joining, they hadnt bothered to phone or email or god forbid write to tell me. CS guy offered to put me through to "correct dept" as they would sort it, told him it could stay cancelled since they did not even have the common courtesy to inform me. Vodaphone your customer attitude is abysmal. |

I switched to Vodafone after BT put their prices up again. It couldn’t have been simpler and Vodafone were superb. The new router is better than the BT router too. It all happened by 9.00 am on the day of switchover. I had a lot of pressure from BT not to move away from them, in my view it was heavy handed and OTT. |

The speed of the broadband is great when the line is stable... Since we took out the contract with Vodafone 5 months ago we have had 4-5 dropouts a day and maximum of 3 days with no dropouts! Their support is friendly but repetitive and goes around and around with tests that just don't work but they refuse to try anything new, replace hardware or let me talk to the next level of support. Unless you enjoy spending your time on the phone being told the same thing over and over please avoid for your own sanity!! |

Absolutely shocking customer service experience from the moment I placed my order. Engineer visit was confirmed for the wrong date twice then actually happened in the afternoon instead of the morning. Router delivery was arranged for the wrong address, on the wrong day and then incorrectly rearranged for the same address at a different time. When you phone customer services they do not make notes which are accessible to livechat. The service syncs at 45meg when on the engineers diagnostic equipment it should have been closer to 80 - vodafone support refused to call me back, then sent me a text message blaming my wifi (this is a sync speed issue), they were not interested in putting my call through to openreach and went straight for the 15% money back without doing any further investigation - still within my cooling off period, considering trying someone else. |

Vodafone broadband not that good and no wonder they say if they don't get your guaranteed speed then you 15% off your bill reason is because they don't want you to leave and tech team was much use as a chocolate fireguard like bt and there corroded old technology lines what have been paid for over and over in ripoff line rental .Would I recommend these no as only getting the min speed which I don't know why they say on the stupid bt website btween 23mbps and 32mbps when you lucky to get min speed . ripoff Britain |

I have tried to set up broadband with Vadafone for almost a month now. Making my order over the phone, Vadafone put in the wrong address. When I phoned to tell them this, they pushed my order forward an extra month, despite it being their fault. I then phones customer complaints who were to phone me back at 4.30. They called at 2.30. I then called again and was garunteed an activation date for the 16/07/18, which I was happy to accept. (Bear in mind I was originally meant to have internet on the 06/07/18). I then received an email from Vadafone telling me I'd get internet activated on the 20/07/18. 4 days after I was "garunteed" activation my comaints. Terrible expereicne, no one seems to know what they're doing... |

Joined Vodafone Broadband recently and already leaving. Despite their promise of guaranteed minimum speed the speed has been very poor hardly reaching 10Mbps when it should be at least 35Mbps!! We had countless webchats and phonecalls and none of the playing with the settings, changing channel etc etc helped at all. Apparently according to many other unhappy customers the problem is the low quality router they provide you with! Goodbye Vodafone! |

Appalling charges with Vodaphone. I received a £215 bill for one month. I had only one warning during that time indicating my data was over. I found several cases of this on forums. I will no longer use Vodaphone. If you use it make sure you check that your phone is connected to your wifi and not accidentally pushed off or you will be bankrupted. This is the only way I can explain my data usage. Customer service was completely unsympathetic to this issue. |

Have had broadband with EE, TalkTalk, Plusnet and then decided to upgrade to Fibre for the first time with Vodafone on an 18 month contract. Now I keep having an issue with poor connection with a service that is suppose to be fibre and more bandwidth than my previous broadband providers and being a single user as I live alone and sharing the connection with no one and yet I keep getting poor connection or no connection messages on device and streaming service despite sharing with no one. I find the service very slow and poor at odd times during the day, weekends and evenings for a fibre broadband service and can't wait for contract to end. |

I ordered broadband from them on 21st may which they promised that my services will be activate on on 4th of june and I will receive router within week after placing an order. Today is 6th of june and I am still waiting for router and my broadband service activated on 4th of june. Their bill payment started and I spoke to staff everyday from 2nd of june and everyone saying it will come next day and they wasted week. Today I spoke to paul which is english guy and he don't understand english. When I asked him to can I spoke to your supervisor or manager then he clearly refused and said to me that first I have to tell him reason which I already explained him before requesting to speak to manager. I thought from last week I was speaking every day with staff and they couldn't help, so I will raise issue to their superior people and they can help me out. But I am very disappointed with vodafone and it will be my first and last order. |

Immensely happy with Vodafone. Was previously on Post Office, calls and broadband. since the switch we're getting greater than 10x faster download speeds (6~mb to current 62-71mb, both confirmed on Vodafone App and Ookla) and it makes all the difference. Had the occasional drop out, but they are usually resolved within 30 seconds, far quicker than any we had with PO, and those are very rare. Wit the £4 add on for weekend and evening calls, were paying almost exactly the same for better speed, better service, and the same phone line. Could not be happier. |

James | Rhondda | Vodafone | 2018-05-31
I often feel that people will only review when there is a problem and therefore, reviews are generally biased towards the negative. I saw an offer from Vodafone offering fibre broadband for £20 a month with 24/7 calls, which I could add and takeaway at my leisure, for £8. My then existing supplier, Talk Talk, could not match that. They got a little closer after I had already given them notice to quit, which is really quite ludicrous. So Vodafone was my choice. Throughout the process, Vodafone kept me informed of my "going live" date. When I called them about the delivery of my router, I was assured that it would be delivered on time. Sure enough, within a day of that call, I had my new router. On the day of the switch over, I was out but plugged in my new router the night before, so it would be ready. As it turned out, my day was long and I didn't get back until the early hours of the next day. Naturally, I checked my broadband. All appeared well, two solid green lights were on the router but at first, I couldn't get my laptop connected via wifi. I merely powered the router on and off and restarted my laptop and there is was. A download speed of nearly 38 mbps and an upload speed of nearly 9. Bearing in mind that was the speed I requested, it all looked pretty darn good to me. The wifi signal appears very good, no problems at all in all rooms in my house and at this stage, everything appears solid enough. The router itself is very neat and modern looking and I was told how to get inside the router to change the wireless name and password, which I will do later today. Vodafone were able to port my telephone number without any issues, although I was on BT Openreach lines in the first place, so that made it easier. I felt the whole switchover process was handled perfectly, the communication with Vodafone was excellent and although very early days, I can only say that I am delighted with it all. My non fibre speed with Talk Talk was always around 6 mbps download and around .80 upload, so the speed I have now is equivalent to a snake! For my needs, the 38 mpbs service was perfectly adequate. Regards the price, well in real terms I am getting this cheaper than I would have done with Talk Talk. Talk Talk were trying to retain me my giving me half price calls but when I asked what would happen if I were away for a month or so and dropped the calls part of the package and then re-instated them, they told me they would go back at the full price, so that would bring the price of fibre and calls to £33.50 and they would not budge from that. With Vodafone, I am paying £28, with the assurance that if I took calls away from time to time, they would be reinstated at the same price £8. What I have also been impressed with from Vodafone, it their no nonsense approach to pricing without all these ridiculous add ons that competitors try to sell you, for example tv etc. I don't require any of that. Vodafone's pricing and contract arrangements were clear and concise. I would highly recommend. |

We switched to Vodafone as we are mobile customers and the price was so good. I regret this hugely. The speed was very slow and meant we could not watch films despite paying for fastest speed. After hours of phone calls where we were told the speed was acceptable and numerous hoops we had to jump through at home to try speed it up (no engineer was ever offered) we have decided to cancel. It is so bad that we have paid around £200 to get out of our contract early and go back to sky. Do not use this supplier. |

If I could a review for minus 5 stars I certainly would. Throughout my whole experience of broadband from the initial receiving of router to today it has been absolutely appalling! Waited a week after the so called go live date to be fobbed off by Vodafone blaming everyone and everything but themselves, to date after 12 months of constant communication with them have still not received promotional gift of £75 shopping card, again Vodafone blaming everyone even me for me not receiving it (I did everything that was required to receive the gift ie registering on the correct date when asked to abd communicating with 3rd party company TLC who process the gift card) Now as I write this I have been waiting 72 hours to have my broadband and landline to go active again which vodafone are blaming BT for its an absolute joke. DO NOT SIGN UP FOR BROADBAND they should have stuck to mobile phone coverage it's a disgrace. |

I read some very poor reviews of Vodafone broadband. Despite this, I took a chance for a few reasons. Firstly, they're £30 per month cheaper than BT. Secondly, I've had excellent service from them for my mobile phone accounts. And thirdly, they have a minimum speed guarantee or money back. Also, I was going on the belief that if the line was fast and reliable with BT (it was), it'd be a good foundation for Vodafone to work on. I have absolutely no idea if there's any technical merit in this belief, but I went with it anyway! My go-live date was 02-05-2018. No service by midnight, so I contacted them the next morning. They stated that BT/Openreach hadn't done what they were supposed to at their end. They said they'd look into it and get back to me. They apologised and credited my phone and my partner's phone with 50Gb of data each by way of apology and to see us through. Soon after, I received an email from BT that confirmed what Vodafone had told me. The service kicked in the next day. First day speed, 20Mbps. Next day, up to 32. Currently sitting at 46. I've paid for 76, guaranteed 55, and it seems to be gradually climbing in that direction. Their hub looks great, has good coverage in my 3 bedroom bungalow (performs better than BT hub in a blackspot in master bedroom) and I have not experienced any drop in service thus far. I have 4 firesticks, 4 echo dots, 2 smartphones, 2 tablets, 2 games consoles and 3 smart home devices connected to the hub. Six or seven of these devices could be operating simultaneously, and I have had no issues. So, one week in and I'm very happy. I know it's early days, but so far, so good. And I also have to say that I've always had very good customer service from Vodafone, and this time was no different. It appears that they are making a genuine attempt to mend their reputation in this regard, although as stated, I've never had a bad experience. |

Having been on this review site before making my choice of broadband provider, it was evident that every mainstream provider has exactly the same level of bad reviews, so my decision was based on my own gut feeling instead of reliable internet reviews, it seems it’s true that a huge majority of internet reviewers only post because they want to share their bad experience, and people who have had a perfectly satisfactory experience seldom share it online. So I would like to post mine here. I chose Vodafone mainly because their super fast 2 fibre deal was £12 cheaper per month than Sky. We were moving house so my previous provider ruled themselves out due to inability to provide a service at my new address.... strange as I have moved to a more urban area. Anyway, switch on day I had no service by 7pm. I rang customer service and they had sorted it within an hour, I was away from home at the time so they rang my wife at home and sorted it out with her. Job done. A week in I am more than happy with the service. I have had no interruptions to my service, I have streamed a few premier league games and am getting upwards of 60 mbps speeds. The only negative so far is that my house is a three storey new build and in the top floor en suite the wifi signal is very weak. Apart from that minor I would recommend Vodafone broadband. |

Absolutely terrible, avoid at all costs. Vodaphone are probably the worst ever broadband AND phone provider I have had the misfortune to encounter. I have been a customer with them for 16 years and have only stayed because of their extensive network coverage. To date I have had to virtually sue them for their appalling customer service. The Ombudsman found in my favour and I was awarded £1000! from Vodaphone. Mistakenly I took out their broadband thinking they had improved. They have not. The broadband is appalling, constantly drops out and half the time doesn't even work at all. In spite of raising yet another complaint I am unable to actually contact Olivia who is mean to be from the Directors Office and who claims to be handling my complaint. The reason being, that all of the customer service agents I speak to cant understand me, cant speak English and read literally from an autocue! In desperation today I tried to raise a complaint on live chat but no I was told that I now have to start a fresh complaint as the old one has expired!! So now I am stuck with 2 phones costing me £100 per month and broadband that is so useless we don't even bother trying to use it and have instead reverted to using our EE hub which is brilliant. I am now in the process of cancelling my broadband and raising yet another complaint with the Ombudsman because Vodaphone wont listen to me. If you are considering Vodaphone DONT!!!! they are frankly appalling! |

Of course u have sites on the web telling you get a better router and some power line adaptors why don't the ISP providers with decent kit upfront I was told by origin the router was £40 pound and they will bill me "well I have 2 and I'll bill them I,m getting carried away now so I'll sign off tara |

I was a bit dubious about moving to Vodafone Broadband as there seemed to be so many bad reviews of their service, but I have to say that the company has exceeded my expectations in every way. The changeover was handled quickly and efficiently, I was kept informed during the process, and the service was activated on schedule. The initial speed was very slow, but when I raised this with Vodafone they organised for an engineer to visit within less than 24 hours. He found a problem with the wiring in the main socket in the house and sorted it out at no charge. My current download speed of 40 Mb/s is even faster than Vodafone's claim of 38 Mb/s. This compares with the 36 Mb/s I was getting on a service rated at 76 Mb/s from my old provider, who definitely didn't do me proud. I'm a happy customer. Well done, Vodafone! |

Well...I never took notice of these reviews specially about the dropping and I have now paid for it!! I though that this will happen to others and not to me!! How wrong I was! Changed from BT to Vodafone. They run on the same track but I don't understand why it drops so often when BT is pretty reliable (not a single drop in a year I stayed with them). Vodafone told me I needed to change the channel...kept doing that but no luck everyday at the beginning of the connection it dropped even for hours specially during the first 10 days. Sometimes i do work for home and put me in serious difficulties as delayed everything and deadlines I had to complied with . The speed-test I took were irrational, sometimes download was 53 out of 76 but most of the time in the 30s and even on several occasions 12, 15 and 22. Most of the time in the 40s . How do you explain this? Where is the Super-fast that they advertise? BT tried to persuade me not to move to Vodafone because if service goes down they do not have 24 hours service, so I told this to Vodafone and they told me they are wrong that they also have 24 hours support if line goes down. So one of the days that service went down and I had to do important work I rang support at 23 hours and in fact their technical support is NOT 24 hours, so they lied to me. The only positive thing i found was that I live in a four bed house and with BT even their super router as BT advertise and proud of, is a lot of nonsenses ( i still have to use an extender) but surprisingly with the Vodafone router connection reached all corner of my house when it worked (maybe a coincidence) but was dropping and dropping. It is really sad that a big company as Vodafone sells a product that are not able to provide to the public and moreover satisfy. They have so many problems (you only have to see this reviews) and is giving them such a |

Worst broadband and terrible customer service. Messed with me for 2 months. I was getting 9-15 mbps on 76 mb package when they guaranteed 62.8 min speed. Previous providers speed was 30-32 mb on 38mb package at least but I thought Vodafone can be better and that was a mistake. AVOID!!!! If there was an option to give zero stars I would. Had broadband with VF for 4 months now, internet drops at least 4 times a day, speed is so slow, lucky to get 9mbps through WIFI and ethernet. I work from home and this is a severe problem. The morons at tech support send us round in circles. We discovered not all of our issues have been logged. We were told twice we can leave without cancellation fee and compensation if the problem cannot be solved within 48 hours. It's now been 4 months and the broadband is so bad that we have now lost all internet connection for over a week. VF's response...the tech team will get back to you in 48 hours! APPALLING! We have logged a formal complaint and told we have to wait at least 14 days while they 'investigate' before we can cancel. What a load of BS! |

Broadband randomly drops when not in constant use and speed is variable at best. The issue for me is that they have just doubled the cost of my broadband with no notification other than sending me the new bill. Apparently, I went out of contract four months ago and no one thought to mention it, so they have the freedom to charge me what they think fit. Customer support were pleasant but couldn’t do anything beyond refunding the increase this month. This isn’t the first time they have done this. |

BEWARE - A few weeks ago we started experiencing intermittent service and slow speeds , so I complained and after more than an hour on the phone they agreed with my theory it wasn’t my laptop or my connection that the was the problem ! I insisted they raise the query and I never heard back . After 4 online chats and 2 calls all iniatated by ME not VF they have agreed I can cancel at no cost or fee as they cannot provide the speeds or close to it at peak times . They are not delivering on their contractual obligation - that’s all! After 4 weeks and them saying it’s a BT Opemreach problem they now say it’s been resolved as best as possible as it has to do with congestion and overcrowding on their lines. Basically they were customer greedy and are now chocking on their greed ! I’m going to write to the ombudsman’s as it’s poor service and poor sales management that have led people into signing up for something they cannot deliver on ! I have 3 mobile contracts too so it’s not like I’m trying to get it for free but I’m not paying £20 / month when I should be paying £2 as I only get 10-15% speeds at peak times . C u VF BB . |

Very bad internet connection. In a week, im lucky to get 2 days of at least a good connection. A 3o minute video clip on youtube for example will take me an hour to finish. I had visitors from abroad who used my broadband wifi but got so embarassed because they were able to connect but of poor quality. Im paying about £96 a month for my broadband, landline and mobile but not getting what I should be getting. Few months back, the router was changed as they said there is something wrong with it but the problem of poor connection still exist.I hope Vodadone will look into this as its not fair that they take a lot from their customers and not providing the right service. |

Very disappointed with the speed received on the line. Customer service did try and help, but no improvement at peak times. Paying for 38Mb but receive about 6-10Mb in the evenings. Very poor. This is likely due to the insufficient backhaul capacity - Vodafone has oversold their packages in the area with promises that the infrastructure they lease cannot maintain. Avoid. |

Signed up to Vodafone's 38Mbps service because of the cheaper price compared to sky my previous supplier. The changeover was smooth with no problems but the speeds of the Internet was pathetic at peak times down to 1.5 Mbps which makes it useless. This happened every day at peak times. My connection, like a lot of other VF users was being throttled to death. The useless speed guarantee only applies to the line sync speed and NOT the throughput speed!! Thats like having a farrari in rush hour traffic, pointless with no recompense. |

Do not sign up. Paying half price for 3x the speed I got with BT, too good to be true. Minimum guarantee speed of 49mbps download. Should be 76 mbps. Getting 35 max. Speed always alters. 13 live chats, 3 phone calls and 3 engineers later and still having cut outs every hour and slow speeds no where near what we were promised. Pay the extra £10 a month because it is much more worth it than the extremely poor service delivered. Wish there was a way of pulling out of a contract as I would definitely. |

I changed from BT to Vodaphone as cost was half that of BT with 5x faster speed promised. The experience has been a disaster. I live out of two addresses and Vodafone refused to deliver the router to the supply address as that was not the address recorded with the payment card. Not a major problem, as my wife was at the card address at that time. The delivery driver arrived at the expected time, but waited only seconds for the door to be answered before leaving - my wife answered the door to see the driver turning the corner. An email was sent promising delivery the following day but no time, and no facility to contact the delivery people. My wife stayed in all day to receive the parcel the following day, changing her prior arrangements, but there was no delivery. Eventually my wife drove a round trip 40 miles to collect the router. The following day my BT supply terminated. I tried connecting through the old BT router but could not make this work. When my wife arrived from the other property with the router I spent several hours trying to make it work. Eventually, on waiting ages for Vodafone service to answer the phone, I was told that my scheduled day for connection to Vodafone had been postponed a week as they had been unable to arrange engineering works. So I am left without any access for a week. When I finally did get service I find download speed is only a fraction of that advertised. I reported this, but two weeks later I have not had any improvement. On top of that, in my backlog of emails I find one from Vodafone saying that an engineer had called for the installation as arranged, and as I had not been in for the appointment I would be charged a fee. But no appointment had been made - this was the first I had heard that any engineer visit was necessary, and anyway I had been in at the property all day on the date they stated and no engineer called. When I did get service no engineer had been to the property for the supposed works. At this point I discovered that the internet was way slower than promised speed. I reported this, but two weeks later I have had no resolution. I really wish I had not signed up with Vodafone, but committed to an 18mth contract now. Hopefully, once everything is sorted out and working properly it will be OK, but not very confident. I would advise others to stay away from Vodafone. |

Vodafone processed my order incorrectly by installing a brand new line for broadband instead of taking over the working line of BT. So I end up having two landline numbers and two broadband package. What is worse is that they did not send any confirmation of service after the installation because they have got my email wrong so I did not realise this until BT chase me for payment. Very poor customer service and very annoying indeed! I spent the whole Good Friday morning dealing with this mess that is created by Vodafone and they denied it all the way and refuse to compensate. |

Originally a sky broadband customer, moved to vodafone as attacted by being cheapest on the market. i now pay £20 per month for 38mb. Initially it started off a bit shakey , they canclled more order without telling me i only found it they done this when i rang up after not hearing anything for 2 weeks and not having received my router. Anyway a fews days later i received my router and had an activitation date a week later. On the day of activation it said i should be up and running by midnight, i checked the following morning and still no internet. I called the next day first they told me it was to do with the parental settings so they changed something on the router i was actually at work at the time so didnt have a chance to test until i returned home , to find it still wasn't working. so i called up again and they asked for the serial number of the router which i provided and they said the router wasnt registered on their system! They registered the router and within 15 minutes i was online. Since then it has been working fine and getting same speeds if not better than when i was with sky. After a shaky start it seems to be ok, touch wood! |

Worst broadband experience of my life. Avoid like the plague. It may be cheap, but you get what you pay for at the end of the day!! I've been with them 4 months so far and experience constant internet drop outs. Like watching episodes on BBC iPlayer or Netflix? well forget it, unless you're prepared for CONSTANT interruptions. I pay for the 76mbps, and promised/guaranteed at least 44mbps, but generally get no-where near this. Their customer service is also a joke... I cannot wait until the contract ends. Left BT due to their constant upping of prices (to subsidise BT Sport which I never watch), but at least it worked, unlike this garbage. |

I set up a deal with Vodafone for two premises, soon after I signed up someone decided to use my postal address to move their SKY broadband instead of their new address they gave mine, very soon I got a cancellation notice from Vodaphone with HEFTY BILL this meant I lost my line and nearly my landline number, I had to pay extra to get my broadband back, since then I get charged for phone calls that should be free, the speed of broadband is useless my device is often locked out although fibre optic, when I wanted to check my usage and devices on my broadband I was given incorrect information from someone abroad who clearly did not understand me. not happy folks beware, I am looking for a better deal . |

No technically support team to talk to just customer services who have no clue and fob you off for days with 2-24 hours it can take to reconnect after cutting me off for no reason bills paid.. Now on 3rd day and still no broadband or technical team to sort it..load of rubbish speed isn't what they made out when taking it either over all just a pile of crap AVOID!! |

Absolutely awful was meant to go live on 7th...10 days later still waiting...is one lie after another as to why they can't go live with the line. Apparently 1st engineer was competent and neither was the more senior engineer they booked in...now they are sourcing 3rd engineer. Customer service is pot luck...whilst polite are here messengers with no technical knowledge. Suggest if you switch have a 2 week overlap with providers... |

We have had Vodafone for our broadband for about 18 months. In that time we have had 2 occassions with loss of connectivity. I have to say that the Vodafone customer service and technical support, at both times, has been fantastic. Everyone I spoke to over the phone regarding the issues have been friendly, helpful and proactive aiming to get the problem fixed quickly. Vodafone sent out a BT technician within 24 hours of our complaint and also sent out a new router quickly. At no point have Vodafone 'blamed BT' or 'blamed us' which we used to hear all the time when we had broadband with TalkTalk (TalkTalk's customer service was so appalled I twice resorted to crying - not cool but true). I have been more than happy with the switch we made to Vodafone and will continue using them. |

Genuinely the worst broadband ive ever had, note i used to have post office wifi with a max of 15mbps download and i think that was 10x better. Ive bough a package which promises no less than 40mbps download and 5mbps upload. Ive never had more than 16mbps download and 0.2mbps upload and i speed check every week... Ive been in contact with them over ten times with their reply always being "split your ssid" etc. Theyve even had an engineer out to change the phone cable and now its even worse. Definitely recommend anyone looking for a decent broadband to go to bt fibre |

A near miss. I can't comment on speed or reliability as I cancelled just before installation. Customer service was appalling. I signed up at an agreed rate but received a letter two days before switching with the wrong charge. I wasted an hour with customer services explaining this and all they could offer was a call back in 3-5 days to tell me if I would get the agreed deal. I wasn't prepared to risk this as it was after connection so would be much more difficult to cancel. I was then told the cancellation team wouldn't take my call! I tried directly and they refused to allow me to cancel. Furious I called my current provider and they have blocked the switch. I honestly feel like they were conning me and the hassle of getting through to speak to someone - who then say they can't deal with the issue gave me no confidence in the company. If you are tempted by their offer make sure you get it in writing before going ahead. |

I was talked into moving myself and my partners home broadband to videophone. TERRIBLE MISTAKE DO NOT MOVE. I have spent 45 hours onto customer services to try to get connected since the 2nd of February - now over a month later we do not have a working broadband. I have spoken to them both online and in person repeatedly, they promise you they will fix but really they only want to stop the conversation so they can leave you again. I have been promised engineers - who never showed up. Been send 3 routers - still no broadband. Been through numerous tests - intact very time you phone or speak to them they make you repeat the tests that have not worked before. So today 9th March I tried to cancel - typically I was unable. I tried costumer complaint service (they only had it for mobile phones) they said they would try but when I called them back they had blocked my number so agin still no luck. If only I had read these reviews before being talked into changing. TAKE MY WARNING DO NOT USE VODAPHONE HORRENDOUS |

I was called by Vodafone and they convinced me to move two mobiles, broadband and IPad services to them. WORST MISTAKE EVER!! I have spent the last year taking them to the Ombudsman for every account that they have no interest in resolving unless they are instructed to! There customer service team are unfriendly, unhelpful and rude! Don't move your account to them unless you have the time to constantly call and have the extra time to use the Ombudsman. Even now they have admitted fault and provided refunds etc I am STILL the owner of a brand new 7 plus that does not work... called again today and they refused to believe I got the phone from them! I had the Ombudsman prove they provided it.. its a joke... Cannot wait until I can get out of the contracts and go back to my previous provider who NEVER caused any problems! Virgin Media come back! All is forgiven!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

I have given Vodafone 1 star in each category as there was no option for 0 stars. Signed up with a guarantee of 50mb download on their 74mb package. On running regular speed tests i was getting less than 20. Complained and got no help. Broadband lost connection once every few days, the time that drew the last straw was a 24 hour loss of service where, after over an hour on the phone with an advisory, was told nobody could help me for another 48 hours. Cancelled within the first 30 days, told that they were still going to charge me, despite them not actually offering me what I paid for. Customer service and their online chat are useless, not to mention inaccurate - with an 11pm helpline that doesn't take calls after 9pm! |

once upon a time i had a really happy life til a frightening nightmare called VODAFONE broadband came to my life. trust me with this and believe me I AM NOT JOCKING, still i have nightmares about their horrible service. i am now relieved a released from this horrid company as i paid the termination fee and ended my sorrows. THIS IS FOR PEOPLE WHO WANT TO JOIN THIS SHAMBOLIC COMPANY. PLEASE DON'T BE FOOLED BY THEIR CHEAP PRICES AND SPECIALLY BY 5 STAR COMMENTS AND REVIEWS YOU SEE HERE. i suspect most of the 5 star reviews are from VODAFONE itself. i confess that i was fooled by these 5 star reviews and ignored the critical comments about vodafone broadband service. if you really care about your internet status and SPECIALLY YOUR INTERNET SPEED, DO NOT EVEN THINK YOU CAN GET IT FROM VODAFONE. if your work online, stream online, need fast download or even chat online, trust me signing up with VODAFONE will be your worst nightmare. if you have kids who watch on amazon, netflix or any other online streaming websites, DO NOT GO WITH VODAFONE. you will get most of the times as low as 3 mg download speed. it does not make any difference what package you have. i was on 76 mg package and i was still getting 3 mg speed. final words, a big 0 star all around to VODAFONE broadband service from customer service to INTERNET SPEED.it is the biggest scam i have seen as they charge you for something they would never give. |

terrible, terrible service from vodafone. people please stay well away from vodafone broadband. (0 star to customer service)( minus 100 star to internet speed) not connected ontime, sent me a massive bill even though i disconnected the service within 30 days cooling off period. people be aware that if you are on a 76 mg package you will sometimes get speed as low as 3 mg. YES you saw it right, 3MG. that is preposterous. when you phone them, bear in mind that you have to stay on the phone for a minimum of 45 mins to get through and when you get through they never accept that this ridiculous speed is what you are getting and try to persuade you that there is something wrong with your household( wiring etc) when its actually them try to rip you off. two words. I was in the process of ordering the broadband package (55mbps), chatting to the on-line agent. It looks like an excellent deal compared to what other providers are offering. Thought I'd check the on-line customers reviews first. Glad I did because customer service is everything, and it appears that this is where vodafone fall down. Does not matter how cheap or good the deal is, if there is nothing there to support it, it is not worth the risk. So, I shall be looking elsewhere. |

Do mot make contract with vodafone, i have spent hours and hours chasing vodafone customer service and complain deptt but issue hasnt been resolved yet, trust me once you sign the contract they will bully you as much as they can e.g with me when i rang them they said we need to run wire speed test at the time when there customer service is open, but when they are closed they wont take the speed test result that you run on app or on pc, they will try there best to justify that they are sending this much speed on your connection, even they told me that there is something wrong with your house internet wiring, get it checked and it was perfectly fine.. |

Been with vf for about 2 months. Started at the promised 70mbs. 23rd Feb dropped completely. Reset and came upto about 16mbs. Contact vf requesting call-back which never happened. Carried on with 16mbs because just couldn't face the vf contact system - life is just too short. Succumbed and contacted them on 28th Feb and it took about 30 mins for their customer service rep to suggest I reset the router - then she disappeared. I reset the router and now get 6mbs. Requested a call-back and am still waiting. The service is terrible and the speed is not what I am paying for. I would steer clear. |

vodafone home broadband is the worst isp on todays market, they have internet traffic management that is placed on your fiber, with your normal fiber internet speed of 38mb during the day it will drop to 3mb a night between 7pm to 11.30pm, peak time and that is the time when its needed the most.that is realy bad service. dont sign up with them, pay few pounds more and go with isp that dont traffic management in place |

I first ordered broadband services from Vodafone on the 1st of February, needed a new connection so arranged a date for the engineer to come and took a day off work for it. They cancelled the order and I had to start again and after numerous failed attempts to get through to them and after well over 2 hours spent on hold I finally arranged for a new date with an afternoon appointment. They changed it to a morning appointment which was not possible for me and I specifically said that on the phone so now I don't have any day for my broadband to get installed. It has taken almost an entire month and still got absolutely nowhere. Don't waste your time with these useless incompetent idiots the customer service is absolutely shambolic there is no communication between staff whatsoever. |

Absolutely terrible. Rang me 2 years ago to see if I wanted a 'free' mobile broadband package. I discovered 2 years later that I'd been paying £9 for the damn thing every month. After a full refund from Vodafone, they continue to charge me £9 a month for absolutely no reason - I have to ring them every single month for a refund as they just can't grasp how to cancel a service on their own systems! |

I got a mobile broadband contract on the 28th December 2017, i realised just like so many people that Vodafone was leaking massive data strangely, so i decided to cancel within my 30 day allowance. Got customer services on web chat and on the phone, they confirmed cancellation will take place no problems. about 3 weeks after i noticed they had cancelled my direct debit (so i was somehow assured they had cancelled the contract), Monday 19th February i receive a letter from them telling me that my account had been suspended for non payment of account! i call them up and got them on web chat, the guy says that as soon as your account is cancelled, they also automatically cancel your direct debit but they do this without producing a final bill!. this means that their system has no way of collecting the final payment thus likely to give a false impression of non payment on your credit file. So now i have to manually pay them £25 and then they will send back £17 into my account! what an abysmal service from a horrid company. Most people have had horrible stories to tell about Vodafone, i will certainly never have anything to do with this disjointed company again. |

Just pray nothing goes wrong with your Voda broadband. Our router failed after 2 weeks (at least that is what they say the problem is). The WiFi keeps dropping out and we only got reception standing right next to the router and then only on some devices. The major problem with Voda is their customer services. To sort out this issue I have called them 4 times. Twice I had to wait for over 1 hour, once 24 minutes and another time about 3 minutes before they answer. An absolute joke. |

I joined Voda fiber after leaving Sky fiber for the cheaper voda prices. The exchange turned out to be oversubscribed by nealry 2x which meant between 5 and 11 evening times, my internet would always end up crawling to 200kpbs (4 times faster than dial up). The link at the exchange still hasn't been upgraded and I'm still, 3 months later, on slow connections in the evening. Didn't have this with Sky. And no choice but to wait for open reach to upgrade the link, which is a woefully slow operation. Sky Fibre was the best internet I'd had and leaving for this is painful. |

The guy then tried to charge £3pm for caller id which i refused and he was a right rude fool, I asked him to put me through to complaints he said no three times then hung up. Then on hold 30mins again and no luck so hung up and tried again and then their stupid machine doesn't work when you call and then called again and on hold another 10mins so far and waiting.... The most awful company I have ever dealt with. Shocking customer service. I set my account up on the 15 jan and nearly 4 weeks later I still have to call them almost every day to get my wifi working. I am on hold for anything up to half an hour . They promise to ring back and never do. The stress this company have caused me during my house move !There is absolutely no communication between the staff there and I have to go through the whole story every time I speak to someone. I wasn't happy that there was no plug socket for the modem anywhere near a phone point, meaning having cables running all over my lounge. They seemed to think this was purely cosmetic. Then a week later when I ring due to having no internet again!! they tell me its because my modem is not close enough to the phone point!!! I rest my case. I would definitely not recommend this company. |

As others - Atrocious broadband, swapped from Sky for cheaper deal and signed up for 18 months. The service from Vodafone has been the worst service that I have paid for in my life, slow to mediocre speed, worse than average ping but worst of all by far the frequent disconnects - 1 or 2 every hour, unable to stream videos or play computer games because of he constant interruptions, I will never use Vodaphone for my broadband again for the rest of my days. Customer service 2 stars as they did organize OPEN-REACH who swapped my master telephone point and confirmed I should be getting high speeds. I will do in summer when I move back to SKY! |

I was tempted by Vodafone’s January offer to switch to what looked like a cheaper and faster service. Having tried to switch, it turned into a disaster, and I agree with others who say stay well clear. The customer service is truly awful. I had scheduled twice for them to give me a go live date and on both occasions they inexplicably cancelled the order without telling me. The first time sky had switched me off, so I was left without broadband for 3 days until I could grovel back to sky to re connect me. No matter how good the offer is don’t use them they cannot be relied on |

I'm saving £20 per month and seeing 20mb download speed compared to BT (retail) 14mb and a better WiFi signal throughout the house. BT tried to keep me and I smirked when they said 'we will never be the cheapest' ....silly really as they own and run the infrastructure (BT Openreach). By the way the worst company I've experienced is Plusnet (owned by BT) ...I feel very angry every time I see the advert claiming great customer service - I had to pay them £180 To get out of a contract that they couldn't deliver against to an acceptable level - awfull experience. RANT OVER but Vodafone 'have really done me proud!' |

Having changed from sky due to poor service and high prices, we now have internet for £20 per month with 38 Mbps download from Vodafone. Today a BT engineer turned up because of a fault detected by Vodafone, all fixed and complete thanks to Vodafone that sky had not detected For 10 years. This was due to being wired wrongly not a fault. We now have 40 Mbps Internet and it is brilliant. You can't ask for better service than that. |

I wish i can give them zero star. Bunch of idiots and useless customer service. No one got a clue what they soing. Place my order on 16th of December for 2nd of January activation date. Order cancelled by them and replace order on 16th January. Next day i phone them to cofirm, oh order cancelled again. I said please no more. End of story No. They replace order without my permission. Try to take money out of my account when no service is activated. Phone them and guess what your order placed on 19th and cancelled again. Who place the order , one of customer service idiot. I explained them please cancel this order put a note on it. Cancel direct debit. On 29th of January they deliver router. l was with BT, it cost a fortune with broadband and line rental...vodafone will saved us almost £100 every 3 months with its latest offer...i nearly didnt go ahead because of all the bad reviews but the customer service, the changeover, the router, the speed and reliability has all been perfectly fine, no problems as yet, and hopefully never! so there you are..risk it if youre thinking of saving money, we've got exactly the same service as bt gave us but a damn sight cheaper!! |

Don't waste your time. I went through 2 online advisors, checking the package I was to order, referencing with the postcode etc. only for the payment to be refused. A 30 minute phone call later I'm told they couldn't even provide internet to my area, and it's my fault for not checking first - despite the back and forth via online chat. And apparently, it's also partly my fault for not realising that the link from a price comparison website does not take you to Vodafone's site, but a 3rd party site... Better off spending your money elsewhere. |

Major hiccup with the router when BB went live took 3 days to solve sync problem and a new router had to be sent out. Customer service was excellent the people in the Newcastle call center were very friendly and helpful and spoke a language I could understand. As for speed i am paying for 38Mb and getting 37Mb which is a much better ratio than the 200Mb I was paying for with Virgin Media and getting 74MB |

Been with Vodafone since July after being conned into getting it we was told we would get a minimum of 60mbps but the highest we get is 40 we was told we wouldn't have to pay for instalment but we got charged the internet speed goes up and down all the time with it dropping out completely at least 5-6 times a day the wifi range which we was told is one of the best on the market doesn't work if your more then 10 meters from it and it can only support one or two devices at a time when we phoned up to complain all they said was the guy who sold us the deal shouldn't of said any of that cause it's not true when we asked about leaving they wanted us to pay the full 18 months up front so now we are stuck with this terrible internet |

Atrocious broadband, swapped from Sky who were quite adequate and have been forced to swap again because the service from Vodafone has been possibly the worst service that I have paid for in my life, slow to mediocre speed, worse than average ping but worst of all by far the frequent disconnects - 1 or 2 every hour, unable to stream videos or play computer games because of he constant interruptions, I will never use Vodaphone for anything again for the rest of my days. |

For nearly 3 weeks now our internet connectivity has consistently dropped. I couldn't submit a complaint on their online form because it required the user to enter a mobile number (so they could identify the a/c) but we don't have a vodaphone mobile number, just a landline. |

What a hassle! Signed up on 2/1/18 in store. Advised earliest connection would be 18/1/18. Text and emails to confirm this. Stayed home 8am ‘til 1pm. No engineer. Called Vodafone to be told that Openreach had changed the date to 19th but not told them or me. Asked for an early appointment. Vodafone called at 8am to say engineer had started work and could be outside! Turned out to be a lie. He finally showed just after noon. So 2 whole mornings waiting in addition to waiting for the "signed for" router delivery. Was told it would activate at midnight. It didn’t. Called again. Apparently the router sent was not the router registered and that mattered. Told it would all be OK next day. It wasn’t. Apparently Vodafone employee had mistyped their own company web address, so router still not registered. Told to do a hard reset and wait for another hour. Finally it works! Speed as advertised but this is first day. I have never had so much hassle with any other broadband installation. |

Moved from a cancelled 2 month disaster with BT. How OFCOM permits this shower to trade as a company is beyond me .The back office function is chaotic and the Indian call centre good for nothing. BT uses unacheivable line speeds to sell broadband . Vodafone changeover came and went with no issue .The promised speed is exactly where it should be and something never achieved with BT. Vodafone does not seem to traffic manage or prioritise . This maybe due to the massive capacity of the old C&W business fibre network Vodafone bought in 2012 . |

I have Vodafone Broadband for over 4 Months now, and i got to say it is by far the best Internet connection I have had in the last 15 years. I have been with Virgin, Sky, BT. they all give you slow connection to what they initially promise you. However, with Vodafone Broadband i am pleased that i made this chose. the internet during this 4 months i did not get disconnected once, and my speed has been solid between 60-79mbps which what has been promised By Vodafone. |

We signed up to them and the internet literally didn't work. Was cutting out constantly. Can't download anything on sky. Nothing worked at All! We called them and decided to be upgraded to fibre broadband they said it'll be done within 11 days. 11 days came and went and nothing. Internet wasn't working at all now. So my husband spoke to them on live chat. And they said it would be another 2 weeks! No reason why. So after been told 11 days it would actually be 25! I tried calling. They said I'd be on hold for 1-2 minutes, 45 minutes later still no one available to talk to and still on hold! We are self employed and do a lot of our work online at home. We have decided to leave them, and join someone reliable, as we don't trust it be done in 2 weeks as they've already lied. |

If I could give 0 stars I would. Diabolical signal and shoddy “help” from customer service. 5 months I have been complaining about my connection and STILL waiting for a new router to be delivered (4th time lucky hopefully this Wednesday but I’m not in the least bit confident). I’ve taken days and days off work waiting in for deliveries and engineers and probably a solid week on the phone and web chats but still can’t watch one episode of Netflix sat 4m from the router. |

Constant dropouts since signing up in November. Naively allowed them to arrange an engineer and send a new router, went over the cooling off period and now stuck with them for 16 more months. Loses connection for a few minutes about once an hour, disrupts our streaming and working remotely from home, and the boys' gaming. Much happier with Sky before them, slower but almost never suffered dropouts. A shame as I really rate them as mobile phone providers, been with them 16 years. |

Ignored the reviews as most with good or better service don't bother leaving reviews so switched just before Christmas and I'm getting the same experience as I was for BT. Gone for fiber 36 as standard broadband is too slow but that's the same for BT. and any other provider and all For £10 a month cheaper. Handy app is great for disabling connections to stroppy teenagers who decide to play games till the small hours. Bill is paired with the mobile bill. But so far happy |

Had an awful experience with Vodafone and had to cancel within the cooling off period. The connection was not stable and would drop every few minutes. Will never use this rubbish company again. |

If you are considering vodafone broadband, don't do it, just don't! On fibre 76 and recieve a max of 35 from time to time, the rest of the time shockingly lower. This is below my guaranteed speed and they simply do not care. They have concluded it is my copper wires and refuse to do anything about it as "its not our issue". Complete and utter farcical service. Pay more and get a better service with another provider. Never never had such issues with BT. |

I suppose most people only leave reviews when things go wrong, which distorts the real picture. Although Vodafone twice cancelled my order, it was soon re-activated and after a week of service I am (so far) very satisfied. The service activated flawlessly on the correct day, the speeds and latency are better than before and I'm paying £20, not BT's £48 per month for my internet! |

Lying on the phone at customer services. My home broadband went off at 10.20pm on Wed 7th Dec 2017. Called Vodafone 9 times between Wed and Sat. Told utter lies by staff. First it was an outage, then a fault at the exchange, then Tech2 team said there was no fault. Even although my broadband was still off. Spoke to a woman who told me call back Sat Morning at 8pm and ask to speak to Tech2 team (which you can't do. I subsequently found out). Phoned back spoke to some bloke who said Tech team will call you within 24 hours. Which they didn't do. Then I called again Sat night at 6pm. Went nuts at the woman on the phone. Told her I was going to Ofcom and trading standards. She put me on hold. Boom 2 mins later my broadband is back on. Odd that? |

I read lots of negative feedbacks and decided to ignore them and give Vodafone a try. Wish I would of done opposite. One months waiting for the installation and then 6 weeks waiting for Vodafone to fix intermittence broadband connection. No luck. Internet dropping out all the time, talking with theirs technical department on weekly basis and now I understood that they do not know how to fix this problem. They did replaced router ones but after that speed became even slower, 7 to 14mb/s out of promised 35 mb/s. this gives me reason to cancel broadband. |

Signed up to Vodafone Unlimited Fibre 76 and for the first few months it was fantastic, great speeds on both consoles connected, both phones and both tablets. However my speeds dropped about a week ago (was receiving 5mbps, my minimum should be 35mbps) with only one device connected. I have contacted there customer service about ten times now, including 3 phonecalls to the complaints line. 3 of the live chats were cut off, as were2 of the 3 calls. When I do eventually get through to someone all I get is "we will raise a ticket with the tech 2 team", who have already contacted me and said my internet is fine. They are also supposed to contact me back again within 3 days, I am now on my fourth day, and awaiting 3 different phonecalls from their customer service, all of which should have taken 3 days max. Again it has been like this for a week at least. Eight days to be precise. |

There were initial problems with getting broadband and phone line at our new property and initially in getting the right speed on a fibre connection. So disappointing! Had Vodafone in West London before moving to NW, was good, never had real issues with it. Since we've got it installed here, first they couldn't get it live because of some sort of line issue, then some exchange issue, after another week another exchange issue. Customer Care DON'T CARE, all they know is "we can't guarantee Wifi speed". Dear Lord, does 0.78 even qualify as speed? Wasted hours on the phone with them, I am pretty sure there is something with this router, but they won't bother sending an engineer to check it, because I am - they say - getting the minimum guaranteed speed in the router. I can't connect with a cable, I have a laptop and don't want to be tied up to the a cable. I understand that wi-fi is slower than ethernet, but 0.something is not even speed! |

I am appalled by Vodafone home broadband and I feel like I have no recourse. I chose to move to Vodafone and was told that fibre broadband would be available in 10 days. Two months later with limited contact, Vodafone took over the line and have left us with no internet connection for 4 days to date. They have now told me I have to make myself available for 3 days so that an Engineer can turn up on the one that suits him.I have lost business because of lack of connection and now I am expected to take up to 3 days off work to be available to their Engineer.I just don't know what I can do to get broadband back. There is a shocking lack of concern or urgency on Vodafone's part. They don't care that I'm without internet and they cannot promise internet connection within the next week. It is the most shockingly bad customer service I have ever come across. I feel completely desperate as they are making no progress on getting me connected despite all of my pleas. If anyone can help point me in the right direction to get things moving, please do. Even my official complaints to Vodafone are ignored. |

Got vodafone installed 21st of March 2017, started complaining about a problem on 7th April. Been complaining about said problem in drops and kicking devices off the network ever since. Keep getting told, theres not a problem at their end (how great for them). So I have to either put up with this rubbish provider for another 8 months or pay 8 months to cancel it! This even though I've been complaining since within the 30 day cancellation period! Wish I hadn't of bothered. What a waste of my hard earned money! |

We've tried most ISPs over the years (TalkTalk, Sky, EE, BT and now Vodafone, and we have had by far the best experience with Vodafone. The most important issue for us was internet speed, (particularly upload) as we upload videos to YouTube as Kiducation UK. We had major issues with BT at our current address - even on fibre the best we could get was 20Mb/s download and 0.4Mb/s upload, meaning 10 minute videos had to be uploaded overnight. BT insisted that this was due to the cable from the exchange to our premises, and that those were the best speeds we WEre going to get as all the other providers available to us use Openreach infrastructure (we live in an area where Virgin Media is not available). |

Latest switch due for the 5th November so I called to double check and ask where router was. Told it would be dispatched in time. Not received and then received s text saying there was s technical problem that would delay the switch. Would that be the lack of a router?!! Told them to cancel. Going to Sky instead. |

I have had terrible experience using Vodafone as my mobile phone provider. I supposedly have a contract with them, however, the bills and the payments they take out of my credit card ALWAYS far exceed the amount agreed at the start of the contract. They are literally stealing my money. When I try to contact them, there is hardly anyone to speak to. I get promised refunds to my bank account, however, I have NEVER received a refund. I would not recommend this dishonest company to anyone. STAY AWAY FROM VODAFONE!!! |

Complete and utter GARRRRBBBOOOOOO. Hands down the WORST isp I have ever had the misfortune to have. Claim to be providing me with 27MB/s download speeds, when in reality they are barely capable of providing more than 300 Kb/s. Spoken to their customer support many times (who lack basic English skills) who give me the same response that they claim will fix their awful service but to no surprise, it doesn't. Constantly disconnecting, unable to hold a stable connection (when it does finally connect), unable to keep up with literally any other isp. Would NOT recommend Vodafone...they should have stuck to phones smh. |

Vodafone is the worst organisation I have ever dealt with. They misrepresent the truth; fail to do what they are asked to and show the highest level of incompetence I've ever seen. Failed to cancel the broadband or landline with my previous provider (yet said they had); failed to request retention of current landine number (yet said they had and it had been rejected). Each agent / advisor gives different information. Only resolved when threatened to cancel contract and claim outstanding bills from previous providers through Courts. Only positive is that the broadband has been reliable with no outages, but has dropped from 38 to 20 in 12 days. |

Worst internet ever. I literally do not even know how Vodafone is even allowed to have a broadband. Spent 30 minutes trying to load things up. Games I download that only take around an hour takes a day to download. Simply unreliable, the speed is extremely slow I do not recommend Vodafone. Customer Service is okay I guess but they end up never helping. Any recommendations? |

I must say I was a little apprehensive about changing my broadband supplier. However I must say that I have been pleasantly surprised with service I have received. I placed my order online a few weeks ago and chose the date in which I wanted to switch. I was then kept informed regularly by email of my order. My router arrived a few days before the switch with no problems. On switch day I came home at 2pm not expecting the internet to be up and running at that time as I was told it could take up until midnight. However it was already switched over and ready to go. I had a minor issue with the router password which was swiftly dealt with by the customer service team. Overall I am very happy with the experience. The online chat is also very good and is readily available if you have any queries. The speed of the internet seems absolutely fine so far with no drop-outs as yet. So yes very pleased I switched |

DNTWABP. had a week. On first day it went off after an hour. Took an hour to get through to call centre, then They could not resolve issue. Called back the next day, another hour on the phone. Told them to cancel the contract. Got home from work and it was working, so another hour to get through to tell them to leave it on instead which they said they would. A week later and they disconnected it themselves. Another hour on the phone, a half hearted apology and told they will "email" their connections team |

The most appalling service I have ever experienced. Spent over half an hour on the phone ordering. Received the router and waited ten days for the activation date. Date came and passed with no contact. Phoned Vodafone and was eventually told that contract had been cancelled without informing me. After initially being told this was because fibre was not available for my address several calls later I was eventually told all was due to their operator typing in my postcode incorrectly. My choice thereafter was to wait 72hrs for them to reinstate the order and then wait another 10-14days for the activation OR to register as a new customer spend 30-40mins on the phone giving all my details again and then still wait 10-14 day for activation. At this point it was easier to go with another company having wasted a total 4 hours on the phone. |

Really annoying switch to VF. First of all they changed our number which we had had for 40 years. I rang to complain and was told that they could sort in 3 days. I then rang again shortly after to clarify another issue and was told it would take 4 weeks to get our old number back but no guarantee. Fortunately the first person was right! My first bill was just for a couple of days use so no surprises there. The second bill had over £40 of call charges despite having asked for the £8 anytime calling feature. Their website was down - not an unusual occurrence. Spent half an hour waiting for someone to answer in their call centre and gave up. Eventually got a response from an overseas call centre. They said that my order had not stipulated anytime calling and although they would add it to my contract there was no way that they were going to refund the overcharge. Also be aware that their "Manage my account" app is only designed for mobile use - it was difficult to get this set up as a broadband user. I am locked in now - I hope things get better. |

Had this broadband for a year, and I have got to say it is the most unreliable and slowest internet I have ever had. Never had problems like I have had with Vodafone. My internet drops out 3-4 times a week and I lose connection. I play online gaming a lot and it's a pain and when streaming Netflix or YouTube it buffers, which for this day and age and these 'supposed' speeds it's utterly ridiculous. I've had engineers out to check my phone line etc but no improvement. The customer service is pretty much non existent. The usual 'we will check your phone line' and 'your speed at your router is what it should be'. I'm lying for the Up to 76MBps broadband, and use a hard wired connection for what I can, and I receive at max 20MBps download with 5MBps Upload which is daylight robbery. I have patiently waited until this contract ended and I will not be renewing with Vodafone. My parents experience the same issues, when they also have never had any issues until switching to Vodafone. |

Signed up Home Broadband with Vodafone. It is supposed to go live on 13 Sept but didn't happen. After multiple calls with Vodafone, they top me up 50GB on my mobile, so that I can still use hotspot to work with my laptop. Vodafone said the broadband should go live after midnight. Next day still the same, no broadband. Call Vodafone again, the support staff said there was a technical fault on the line that OpenReach needs to resolve and it won't get fixed until 18th Sept!!!! So Vodafone left my family stranded without internet at all for another 5 days!!! The live chat staff ensured me that I can collect a USB mobile dongle from a nearby Vodafone store to plug into my broadband router for the time being. |

Rubbish do not even think about getting these in. Organised setup for 8-9-17, its not 13th and still no internet. They had no problem cancelling my old ISP but getting this one working is not happening. After being on hold for hours (no joking) they try and fob you off with, its Openreach not us. Rang again 2 hours to be told my date has been changed to the 25th, well thanks for updating me on this and you can shove that date. Then was told the 13th is a go and I am so lucky!!! Not really when I should be surfing with a 50Mbps download right now but currently getting 0. I read the bad reviews and still gave them a chance and i'm sure tomorrow when its not working i'll be cancelling and trying Plusnet |

I am on a 78mbps Unlimited Fibre connection since mid of August 2017. I am quite satisfied with Vodafone. The minimum guaranteed download speed for my location is 55.86Mbps, and I have checked actual speed throughout the last week and the speed is consistently coming between 55 to 56 mbps (speedtest.net was used for checking speed). Upload speed is between 17 to 19 mbps. Earlier I was facing problem with Wifi and I contacted Vodafone regarding this at 9 PM, and my problem was quite competently solved by a customer service agent (Amit). The problem was in my computer itself. I wasn't expecting to get in contact with an agent so late at night, let alone getting my problem solved, but I was pleasantly surprised that Vodafone's 24/7 customer service actually works! |

Abhinav | Lincoln | Vodafone | 2017-09-03
im moving again because of slow speed. The misconception that is going around it is the isp to blame for slow speed. It is the line to you're house that is the problem. You may be on 50 year copper that is not fit for purpose be connected other homes via a junction serving homes as well. This was my problem Openreach had to replace all cabling to the house including the underground cable to the cabinet. Result no change whatsoever. BT and Openreach claims of up to 76 Mbps are exaggerated and the companies that supply broadband have a sold a lot of nonsense. Time to force BT to uprade its infrastructure it is not fit for modern fibre use. |

Moved to Vodafone 76mb package from BT Infinity 2. BT's obfuscated billing drove me away. Vodafone package is £30/mth for 18 months, no additional line rental - simple! Switchover was seamless. There was a little variation in sync speeds initially, but this has now settled down. I have a slightly slower sync than I was getting with BT, but never any disconnections. I am using the supplied router for DHCP and modem purposes only, everything comes in through a separate wireless access point. Some people have reported that the Vodafone router can't handle more than a few wireless connections - I have had no such issues. I contacted Vodafone customer services via live chat to get my authentication details, which they will provide if you quote an Openreach-approved router that you want to switch to. Now I'm using the Vodafone router as stated, this is no longer required, but good to know you can use your own equipment if preferred. Happy customer so far. |

Haven't been able to use my wifi since 7pm tonight , conveniently starts working again bang on midnight. Vodafone have told us on a call that the fault is in our home line but never had an issue before & they never picked up on this 'faulty line' when they checked when selling us this awful service only a month ago. Their solution to this problem? Pay £200 for an engineer to come out & repair the line on a house we don't own and are moving out of in 2 months. They took an hour on the phone to come to this conclusion and we were charged £25 ish for the privilege. So now we are stuck with a line that drops out constantly, runs slowly & are paying for nothing until we move & hope this house doesn't have a 'faulty line' too! |

the most worthless piece of garbage i have ever come across, the connection is terrible, signal strength weaker than a prawn cracker, drops out 24/7, useless customer service departments, they do nothing to try sort out problems. i have to constantly restart the router to get the speed back up on it, only to have to do the exact same thing 5 minutes later. so basically don't even bother with them because they'll just take your money and screw you over. its so bad in fact we are actually taking out a broadband package with Virgin while still having to pay for this crap. |

I really regret changing from Sky, just did so as I was upgrading my phone and there was no line rental. Unfortunately the service got a lot worst almost exactly after the 30 day trial period or I would have swapped back. For a couple of weeks it was dropping every few minutes but that at least has improved now. It takes my ipad quite a bit of time to log in every time I turn it on, which was instantaneous with Sky. |

Appalling customer service. They do not value customers at all and treat you like you have to be grateful if they provide you with their service which we pay for! I made an appointment to have the line activated. I took a day off and none came to the property. I phoned and, as if nothing had happened, I was told that the appointment had been changed to a different date. Not only they did not inform me of the changes but did not apologise for my lost time and money and did not make any effort to give me an appointment that suited me. I had other similar issues with dongle broadband. Vodafone communication with customer should be rated 0. Expect the line to be cut off without warning, explanations or apology. Because t them the customer is always wrong! Pay someone else to get a proper service. I cancelled all my deals. |

I left BT to go to Vodafone after shockingly poor customer service. Little did I know that Vodafone was equally as bad! Their customer service team all seemed nice guys but none of them knew what they were talking about. I was given incorrect information by the operative I signed up with which would have cost me more money unless I hadn't recorded our call and could prove she had mis-sold their product. I had further calls to quantify emails that they had sent to me which gave conflicting information to each other and no one could explain the emails they sent to me. Calling their customer service is not a quick procedure and each of my calls lasted between 30 and 75 minutes - not in queues but talking to advisors who didn't know what they were on about or needed to get further information from colleagues about elements of their products that they knew nothing about. I am still in my 30 day "cooling off" period, and believe me I am leaving straight away. I have never encountered a service as bad as there one I left at BT but Vodafone are well up there with the worst! Don't even bother unless you like to get stressed out by emails they send which suggest they've signed you up for that you never requested and unless you can afford to spend hours on the phone to operatives who do not know what they are doing. You have been warned!!! |

Although Vodafone have tried very hard to resolve problems they haven't been able to. Lots of issues with their own systems include online account. I wasn't aware that they consider 9 lost connections every 2 days to be acceptable. Unable to meet their own guaranteed speeds, call centre staff don't do what they say they will do in terms of calling back. Billing wrong and I have had to call Vodafone far to many times than I consider reasonable. Technical help was better in terms of customer service, but as already mentioned Vodafone were not able to resolve their problems and were not willing to try anything new to resolve the issue. Basically gave up or said they could only continue more of the same which hadn't worked previously! |

Waiting for nearly five (5)!!! whole months to get super fast home broadband activated at the contracted speed in my home!!!! Endless call centre promises (I now know the songs by heart when you are in the queue!), made then not delivered on. There is a serious lack of agency and responsibility taking, in call centre responses. No staff seem empowered to actually do anything to help. You are just a can kicked down the road from pillar to post. It is incredible how they are swift to sign you up and take your money but when it comes to delivery it is BT Openreach or DPD the courier who are to blame. This has been the worst consumer experience in my entire life it makes me nauseous and I am considering further action this being the first step. |

Can't fault it... Now with ofcom law they give you a guaranteed speed and speeds you can get up to... 73mbps constant... A few niggles with my first router but a call to them.. Based in Scotland no less... They were on the case.. Adjusted settings pushed a firmware not yet out didn't fix it so the sent me a new router which was up and running in 10 mins. Coming from sky which was poor and slow.. It's amazing.. Something to do with them not sharing bts data lines and having 2 of there own.. Keep up the good work Vodafone. |

Don't usually write reviews but felt Vodafone are having a hard time here, so thought worth putting in a positive review for those who are not sure. I joined Fibre 76 this month, which took around 2 weeks from placing my order. All I can say is not one single problem from signing up to writing this e-mail. They kept me informed right the way through the process, equipment arrived well in time of connection and since being connected It's very stable (no disconnects) and I'm getting very good reliable speeds in both upload and download for a fraction of the price I paid with BT, who were absolutely useless in all aspects (Customer service being the worst) during issues I had. |

This single star may, to some, appear a bit harsh; but I can guarantee these people have ever been foolish enough to use this company for broadband. When we first started using Vodafone as a broadband provider we were getting approximately the speed they had agreed to provide us with. Then after about 6-8 weeks we started to get very poor broadband speeds (between 0.4 to 20 odd Mbps. The 20 Mbps may sound pretty good to some of you, but we signed up for 38 Mbps! I have contacted their technical support (a bit of a joke as by definition 'support' would imply some sort of assistance!) and they blamed the low speeds on our setup at home. This 'setup' they refer to is the same setup we had when we were with BT, only they gave us almost 50 Mbps! We also get regular drop-outs of service (a few times per day). All-in-all if you are thinking of saving a few quid every month by going with Vodafone, I would think again. Because the savings would not be worth the infuriating hassle this incompetent company provides! |

Recommend going for another broadband than Vodafone, a f you go for Vodafone, you'll regret it, playing online, disconnects all the time, that's even with a wired connection, and it took about half an hour, just to send this, via my iPhone, as Vodafone, useless, my EE data runs faster |

I signed up for Fibre 76 with a promise from the shop of 1 pound connection fee and a download speed of min 62 and max 76. A letter arrived from Vodafone welcoming me with the statement 'This letter and enclosed booklet make up your agreement with us,....' the letter states that the connection fee is 49 pounds and the speed is min 33.5 and max 45.41. Clearly these were not the terms agreed. A complaint using Vodafone's only available avenue which is e-mail has produced no response although the website promises a reply within 2 days if possible or 5 working days maximum. So far the period is 7 working days! A call back to the Vodafone shop was met with indifference, comments that everyone had the same complaint and that replies to complaints could take 7 MONTHS to get a reply. Having today received a text message from Vodafone welcoming me I rang the freephone number provided for queries, the polite English speaking call assistant explained lots of people were having the same billing problem and he could not comment on the download speeds promised, regarding the e-mail complaint not being answered he suggested I contact the complaints department by the only available means ie by e-mail to complain my complaint had not been answered - that seems a exercise in futility. NOT GOOD SERVICE VODAFONE - NIL POINTS |

After being approached by Vodafone offering free line rental, we were tempted away from BT (who had consistently deliver 50mb+ without ever having an issue) purely as a money saving exercise. We like many rarely use the landline so free line rental made good financial sense. I opted for the 76mb premium service from Vodafone, this guaranteed 50mb. After install, we noticed that simple things like streaming Amazon and downloading from sky often wouldn't work due to poor speed, not some thing you'd expect with a promised 50mb. On checking, at best it would make 20mb, often as low as 12mb. We spent hours on the phone to tech support trying to resolve it for the 6 months we've had it, new routers,Ethernet cables, firmware updates, still never getting above 20mb. After a while Vodafone would go quiet on me and I've have to constantly chase them. So after the 4th BT open reach engineer visit I have given up, it appears BT are providing however it is getting throttled back by Vodafone and they simply can't / won't provide me with the promised / contracted speed I am paying for. They have offered me early release from contract and £49 compensation as they claim they are providing me with 76mb and it's not their fault that by the time it reaches me it is only 20mb. Essentially Vodafone are advertising and charging for a service they simply cannot provide. Shocked and appalled by the lack of customer service. Would not recommend to my worst enemy. |

I am going to eat humble pie here. I had a terrible experience with a Vodafone Store at Braehead (Glasgow), and I was extremely vexed by the lack of any response to an online complaint I had raised with Vodafone, within the 5 day window that Vodafone promises. I was on the horns of dilemma with cancelling an impending Vodafone Fibre Broadband connection despite the risk of losing a market leading offer on telephone and broadband connection. I gave vent to my feeling here on this site a couple of days ago. However, I decided to hold my nerve and go through with the switch over from BT, which happened yesterday night at midnight. Yesterday I got an email from Vodafone asking if I would ring up a number, which I did today. After taking a few more details, they confirmed that they had carried out an investigation around my complaint, and wanted to apologise for the poor service in this instance. As a gesture of goodwill, they waived one month's SIM charges. |

Terrible service always cutting out and no way near what they said we would get. Spend a total of nearly 6 hours onto customer services getting no where and no results. It constantly drops out. We even phoned saying we would rather just leave the contract as not getting what was stated but the said they couldn't do that because their end it states we are getting the top speed. Absolute joke never ever use them again and I would advise anyone to consider a more reliable and helpful company. We have had trouble paying credit cards and bills because of this and still they didn't care the lady I spkoke to on the day didn't care at all about what we were saying only what they thought we were getting. |

Absolutely rubbish. the signal drops and goes off all day long. Do not get this service. There is nothing fast about this service look else where. I was with Sky and got lured into thinking it would be an improvement but it is awful. Now I want to leave Vodafone want to charge me £100 which is a joke because it never worked. Avoid like the plague. |

I have yet to receive my Broadband in a couple of days. I've had a terrible experience with staff at the Vodafone shop who sold me the broadband prospect. They did that on the back of me needing a replacement nano SIM for my new phone. The SIM story goes as follows, and I produce the complaint letter I wrote to Vodafone through my Vodafone online account. Even though a response was promised within 5 working days, none has materialised to date. |

Recently I purchased Vodafone home broadband, and I strongly discourage people from committing the same mistake for the following reasons |

AK | Langley | Vodafone | 2017-04-03
Utterly abysmal. They cold call offering exactly the same speed, and that they will put in a second line, and give you double. They mis sell, tell lies, and fob you off with excuses. The hub wifi is pathetic, it doesn't even reach 12 feet away. Shocking service, shocking speed of 3mbps, when you're promised 13 / 14mbs. And when you complain they are forced to tell the truth. I can't abide liars!!!!! |

Download Vodafone broadband app for phone, go WiFi section, and change your channel to one no other person is using. That's where all the problems lie, all broadband companies are using the same channel numbers which causes interference. |

Do not get had Vodafone broadband. I've had it for 1 week and I'm going back to bt. the speed is atrocious speed Ranges from 0.1 to 6mb and signal drops all the time router is not as good as bt hub 6 the range is dreadful. worst mistake I ever did cost me £60 to go back to BT and the £25 it cost to activate Vodafone do not risk it. |

Most reviews tend to be negative, because people need somewhere to vent. I know plenty of people who've had significant problems with Vodafone so they're obviously not perfect....but nor is any other company. However - I thought I'd share my experience of switching from BT standard to Vodafone 38mbs fibre. |

I switched in November 2016 with the promise that my broadband service would be better than my previous supplier and I had 5 months of shockingly bad customer service including Vodafone staff lying to me, not following through on promises and staff blaming each other for poor service. My broadband speed was much slower than I've ever had with BT or Sky and non existent on numerous occasions. Vodafone blamed it on so many things that I lost count and I spent hours on the phone trying to resolve it - they even blamed it on my computer and told me to take it to PC world to get it fixed ! I switched back to Sky and this morning after plugging my sky router box in no more than 10 minutes later my broadband signal is working perfectly again. I would not recommend switching to Vodafone broadband to anyone. |

Got Vodafone broadband in November. Had service for a week theb cut out. Then I was told thw earlier it could be fixed is on Christmas eve. Then come Christmas eve they said there was a problem with the phone like. A week later had an gas engineer out who fixed the line and the internet was working. Lasted for 2/3 weeks then cut out again. When chasing it up I was told it would take 3 days as per the contract. 3 days later I was told that the line had gone down. Had an engineer come out 10 days later who said that the line was fine now and the number had changed. I didn't want my number changed. I was not reimbursed any money that I had paid for a sub par service. |

The advertised download speed with my package is 38mps. I hae just tested it and it averages 21. I live literally 100ft from the exchange, so thats miles of fibre and 100ft of copper. When I call to complain they tell me the problem must be in my flat. The router is plugged directly into the socket on the wall, but if i test the speed using my laptop inches from the router there is no improvement. Customer service just say they are sending the signal at 40mps and refuse to send an engineer to investigate. It's not cheap, the customer service is awful and I can't even stream iPlayer or YouTube reliably. |

I cannot believe I was foolish enough to believe that this amateurish home broadband service provider could provide the same or better service than BT.. I regret the day I signed up for this diabolical service. With BT I was getting anything between 38 & 52 Mbps for the whole year. With Vodafone I receive anything between 40 and 0.42 Mbps ..... yes 0.42 Mbps! The majority of the time it is between 26 and 12 Mbps! At the time of writing this review it is constantly under 1 Mbps! When we started with Vodafone in Sept 2016 we were receiving 50 Mbps then, about a month later it reduced to anything between 38 and 20 Mbps. It has gradually reduced over the months (now March 2017) to its current speed of under 1 Mbps. I have contacted Vodafone technical support who are blaming my set-up at home for the diabolical speeds. If this was the case, how was it that I was receiving 50mbps for around a month when I first started the agreement and the 'set-up' I have now hasn't changed from the outset. Also, why was I, with BT, receiving between 38 and 52 Mbps with the same 'set-up'? Let's face it Vodafone, you are going back to the same attitude you had with your mobile phone customers in the 'noughties' i.e. You're are with us now.... tough! If you are thinking about joining Vodafone home broadband I really wouldn't bother if I were you.... go for another provider and pay for the line rental...... it will be with it in the long-run. |

Don't switch to Vodafone. Went online to change providers because sky were getting to expensive (but I always received brilliant broadband with them) saw Vodafone, same deal but half the price. Put my phone number in & postcode. All fine nothing to be done. I got half price router at £25 so I was happy. Router should arrive in a few days & im good to go. Got an email saying they didn't have any routers available so I had to wait another 10days, not a problem still happy to wait. Then got an email saying there's a problem & they have been trying to contact me for 4 days & where I haven't responded they've cancelled my order. I've been a Vodafone mobile customer for over 10 years & it was all going through the same billing account so they got my mobile number & house phone both with voicemails, so no one tried to ring me. Any way rang them to see what was going on. They said they couldn't use my line & I had to pay £60 to get a new line put in & now I've missed the deal so full price for the router £50. By this time sky has been cancelled. So I refused to pay any more & said I wouldn't have left sky if I had to pay £110. They were good enough to honour the original deal at £25. Which I was pleased they did so thank you Vodafone. Anyway I've been with them over a month now & the wifi is terrible! On YouTube, a couple of seconds in it starts buffering. Any websites take ages to load, it's crap. Dial up when I was a kid was better. I've rang them 5 times trying to get this sorted. The 1st 4 people were brilliant, polite, easy to understand & very helpful. I never waited over a minute to speak to someone really, really good customer service. The 5th bloke was crap. Every adviser had put a note on my file of what they had done, what I told them. So each person in turn would know what's going on & save me repeating myself. The 5th bloke just said "all the others were wrong, wifi is a privilege. We only guarantee fixed line broadband so I should just cancel". I would have give them 5 star customer service but the last fella ruined it. Vodafone did exstend my 30day cancellation time to help me sort the problem. |

Wow, this is an excellent service, been with bt, talktalk, Ee, sky but this is by far the best, as a customer I took the fast broadband, I get 45 mb as was said and WiFi connects at 42 mb all around the house, Vodafone have finally got something right |

I have been with vodafone for nearly a year and cannot wait for my contract to finish! The initial changeover went like a dream but unless you only want ethernet and perhaps a couple of wifi devices, I would strongly advise looking elsewhere. I suddenly started to get problems with wifi devices suddenly disconnecting. All I get from the customer services is that my contract is for the broadband only and wifi is a 'curtesy' service! They suggest that I only ever have a maximum of 5 devices on at once and switch off the wifi on TV's mobiles etc when not being specifically used! I should also use the app to make sure that I havent forgotten to switch anything off! We had more of the family at home when I was with sky and must have had about 15 devices connected at times, with no problems at all. The router also just cuts out on occasions and needs rebooting. Vodafone won't let you use another router. In future I will happily pay a bit more for a decent service |

I signed up in January online to the 76mb package, it was supposed to get actived on the 24th of January which then got pushed to the 4th of Feb, no biggy, then the router turned out to be faulty so I had to wait for a replacement and sent the other back, then when i finally got it plugged in turns out I'm on the 38mb package so I rang up to be told tomorow it'll change over, ring up tomorow and they say the operations team will ring you within 10 days. 10 days pass, no call, no email. A day later I get a text saying it'll upgrade within 24hours, it didn't. I keep ringing everyday to get told tomorow everytime and also thirty pound credit one time to compensate apparently. We're now 6 days past then and no upgrade, I called today to be told tomorow again, she also offered me thirty pound credit again to which I replied I'd already been offered that to which she replied that I haven't got that basically and she can't see any evidence of that ever being offer to me on the system. Seems abit of a joke to me, the customer service are friendly but nothing is gets done. |

Wish there was a minus star ....where do I start . Ok went from Sky to Vodaphone on the 31st January promise fibre for a lower price just plug in and switch on .....17 days later it worked although not working to great. The technical team and customer services promised to phone you back only once this occurred in the 17 days without service ,they kept blaming BTopen reach when the engineer came from BT this type of fault is normally rectified within 48 hours really evident that vodaphone didn't raise a ticket - my advice stick with a trusted brand ...I wrote to the director to fix my issues |

I have had this opportunity to speak to this gentleman who is currently in South Africa (Cape Town), his name is Anthony Ford, this guy has been an absolute life saver to assist me with few problems that I have had recently, since the problem was not looking to get resolved within a day, he actually called me back the following day as he promised to resolve my query, I strongly recommend every network to actually consider taking someone as Anthony to be hired in their team in order to have satisfied customers! |

Vodafone router is not compatible with Sonos, clearly they don't mention this in a sales pitch. After 2 days of trying to connect my Sonos I found a long forum stating it's a know problem with the Vodafone hardware and still no fix after a year. Vodafone customer service were fully aware and advised me to leave while in my cooling off period as could be a very long time before resolved. |

Dont be tempted by price they offer... For the price you get a substandard router which will cut out as soon as more than 5 or 6 devices are connected. Vodafone have confirmed that the router can only handle 7 devices at once and i should switch my devices off when not using them. They also will not give you the passwords required to connect your own better quality router to improve the situation. |

Awful, don't waste your time! We switched from BT to Vodafone after a good offer was emailed to me because I am a Vodafone mobile customer. After 2 weeks, I had still not received a router so I had to call up to find out what was going on. They offered to send another one out or I could go into a Vodafone store and pick it up, which I thought would be the best option to ensure I get it on time as my 'go live' date was now only a few days away. Went into Vodafone store to collect it only to find the staff in there could not authorise and activate the router. They had to call customer service and after waiting 30 minutes for them to get through to someone I walked out as I had wasted enough time with this already. I called up to cancel the deal as I was no longer interested in going with Vodafone after this. However a few days later I was still receiving emails and texts from Vodafone telling me my service will be activated soon! I phoned up yet again to establish if the service had been cancelled. They assured me it has however the next day I signed up with Plusnet and they sent me a message telling me they could not complete the order because Vodafone still have a stop on the line! Just unbelievable and really wish I had not gone with Vodafone. Needless to say, I will be also cancelling my vodafone mobile contract because of this. |

Wow I can't believe some of the reviews set up Internet and a fantastic and extremely low cost deal and I'm getting fast speeds then I got with Virgin media and sky this broadband makes the others look like amateurs, I know it's new but all the teething problems seem to have gone now straight online no drop in connections extremely fast and by fast I mean lightning the fact they are the only internet provider in the uk that gives you two ports so if the exchange goes down they can change your ports I have taken this because a few family members have it and it really is awesomeness absolute awesomeness if you want it for even cheaper ring the cancellations department and they offer it free for 12 months so let me repeat free broadband for 12 months wow I know right any way guys get on it!!! |
