Vodaphone broadband rates highly in testing your level of sanity and frustration!
I was left without broadband for 13 days, each time I called I was promised It would be fixed within 24 hours. Each time I contacted the team I spent 40 minutes trying to resolve the issue. Their approach seemed to be was to blame the last person who I dealt with! During a time when we are all working from home - 13 days is unacceptable to be without internet! I was given 4 different fault reasons to which it ended up being something completely different! The complaints department were not interested in the suggestions I was making in order to improve their customer service. I had to argue to get my 13 days refunded to me - on another 30 minute phone call.
Come on vodaphone you need to change! This service is not acceptable!

AVOID! Moved away from Virgin due to high cost, thought I would try VF Broadband (big mistake) - when it works the speeds etc are hit and miss at best, however I have had the service for 2 months and it constantly drops throughout the day and continues to do it; I have spoken to their tech support (if you can call it support) but just get the runaround. I rely on this service, like most these days, for home working I have had to reinstate Virgin Media. I raised a complaint against them which again just got farmed around. Their customer service is woeful they make you trudge through the mire of their L1 outsourced service hoping you get bored and give up.

Went from talk talk to Vodafone after getting pestered by them and saying how good it is. I’m 32 years old with ms so spend a lot of time watching tv in my room. It’s okish during the day but after 4 to 5 o’clock onward can’t watch tv with buffering. Try to get through to speak to them and get that tobi annoying wee thing. 1.2 download every night. Shocking and will be advising anyone who asks not to go near them.

Still without broadband over a week after the activation date. We have called Vodafone daily and their customer service have not been helpful at all. There is no record of our issues or contact history and each day we are told an engineer will be fixing the issue within the next day and they will call back. Not yet fixed and no calls back. We have already now switched to virgin media and will cancel our contract.

Do NOT under any circumstances buy broadband from Vodafone EVER. To my mind, they are a fraudulent organisation that does not operate honestly. There’s a reason they come at the BOTTOM of every customer satisfaction survey.
Do NOT be seduced by any “deals” as these are illusory and it will take you YEARS to fix and problems. Just walk away immediately. Vodafone are woefully ill equipped to deal with even the SLIGHTEST issue. Call center staff are naturally useless, but all the head office staff are illiterate idiots also. You won’t get a simple answer out of ANY of them. The culture at Vodafone is very much one of “lie, deny, and do nothing” which is something that as a paying customer you can do without. That comes from the top down. The CEO is an absolute joke and their “executive relations” team may as well be a bunch of interns for all the good they are.
PLEASE do not use Vodafone but literally any other phone or broadband provider. You have been warned. I can provide details and correspondence to back up everything I say. Keep away. Dealing with Vodafone can seriously damage your health.

Vodafone is an absolute disgrace to society and practically false advertise their speeds which they offer and have bad support processes in place.
There support team is absolutely shocking as tickets are closed without clarification from the end customer that the issue has been resolved.
You are told that the issue will be resolved within the next 3 days, which then turns into an 8 day and I still have no confidence in that they will resolve the issue as this issue has been going for over a month.
I would never recommend Vodafone as the customer is mislead all the time.
Kind Regards
Shane

had diffiulty accessing my account, it needed vodaphone assitance - two long days of incompetence . it needed a text code - they were refusing to send to my BT landline - my BT landline can send and receive texts no problems Vodaphone doesnt recognise this - only acknowledges and pushes there own product
I cut and pasted there own legal stuff re sending text for access code to a landline phone - I send it back through chat to the numskulls - still didnt click
inbred - internal viewing service advisers - do notknow anything about there own products - there own statements - but only there own products and no other exists
wont be renewing my Vodaphone accounty when it expires - they are incompetent

So i thought can wait for more 2 days will someone came and everything will be sorted soon but no everyday i have to call them and hear only one thing till midnight it will be active. Its been 29th of july i m still waiting for my internet. Everytime new excuse. I will say just stay away from them. I have lost my whole business due to them can’t do anything without internet. If there was option i could give -5 stars.

Worst broadband provider I've ever used. On Superfast 2 package, I've NEVER experienced the promised speed - but since Vodafone is not signed up to the Ofcom Code of Practice, there's pretty much no option for redress other than the small discount they give.
I could probably put up with this, but in addition the internet connection drops out on a daily basis.
tl;dr I'm trapped in an 18-month contract with a dreadful internet connection, save yourself the pain and go with someone reputable instead.

So unrelentingly awful, I'm leaving them just two months into an 18 month contract.
Firstly, don't expect your activation to be on the date promised. Took several days and many phone calls to get that sorted.
Secondly, don't expect a reliable service. Our service has dropped in excess of 100 times in 8 weeks, yet Vodafone say that is 'normal'.
Thirdly, don't expect any support. Agents promise the world, safe in the knowledge that you will never be able to speak to them again. They mislead, and sometimes just lie.
Lastly, their complaints department is as useful as their support department.

Appallingly bad. I've been trying to get Internet with them for over a month, but after 3 failed activation dates I give up. Utterly useless. I spent over 5hrs on the phone, each time they literally promised they'd get it working today, only to fail. Then fail again next time. And again. They also promised to ring me back twice, but never did. Plus they play the same four songs on repeat on their hold music which just adds insult to injury after 45 mins each time on hold.

Just came out of 18 months Superfast 1 broadband contract with Vodafone. During contract had a few occasions when our speed dropped out completely & struggled to load the most basic websites even on wired connections. That seem to sort itself out after a few times & it was rather stable eventually. But as soon as our contract was up for renewal & we chose to stay on the package we were on at the lower price, our wifi all but stopped working literally overnight. 3G was better, even sitting next to the router is was getting 0.7Mbps. Too much of a coincidence for my liking. I'm not one to have a go at a supplier for poor quality product, I just change away...which I did. I don't see why I need to waste my time chasing a supplier to give me the best possible product which I'm paying for.

For a telephone company these are a disgrace. All they think about is getting your money. I signed up with them and internet was great, then it kept going offline. I have lost count on how many time is Have contacted them. Their communication is non existent, as in they don't ring up to arrange for an engineer to come to your house. No they just turn up. I won't be renewing with these cowboys and I suggest you go elsewhere and don't bother trying them as we never got the speed advertised and promised.

Absolute disgrace of a company. After about 10 years of being a loyal mobile (vodafone) network user decided to leave bt (landline and broadband) for the better deal vodafone offered. 3 months down the line broadband stopped working. After 10 days of continuous phone calls (20 hours at least) issue still not resolved. Have had to put up with lies (engineer will come tomorrow and never arrived) , operatives who've hung up on me. Operatives who've been rude plug this in plug that in and we will run some tests. Are your 3 white lights on oh it should be working then. Asked to disconnect mobile data and clink on a link sent by vodafone while at home (oh no wifi link won't work) those who know me know i'm very laid back but so far this has been the worst most stressful experience hoping someone would try and do the right thing. They either don't know their ass from their elbow or really don't give a flying duck

Really bad, stay away from these liars! They promise you high internet speed and when they fail to deliver they blame BT exchange. Instead of being respectful to their customers and tell the truth they blame someone else. Very professional right??? Internet has been dropping from day one, have caused me huge issues with my job. Lost masses and masses of work because of them!!!! And when you want to cancel they make money out of you by charging ridiculous fees!!! They are the failure and liars!!! Why is the customer suffering because of them being useless and unprofessional?? STAY AWAY FROM THIS SHAMEFUL COMPANY

I was looking for internet provider and spoke with a rep from 0800 number. He gave me quotations which I need to think about. He was aggressive in nature in finding out why I cant decide right away. He was a bit impolite and did not make me feel comfortable in answering some personal details. Please be advise that VODAFONE customer service is not admirable at all. Very harsh I deed. I am not calling Vodafone again.

The last ladie hung the phone up on me and was rude as anything. Going to cancel the lot worst company I’ve ever dealt with don’t know how there still going, don’t know how they can get away with lying threw there teeth to all there customers. Wish I done some more research about them before I signed up honestly the most stressful so called ‘company’. Had better service from mcds drive thru then anyone from this poxy pathetic shambles of a company
If you haven’t already do yourself a favour and don’t sign up go somewhere else anywhere else.

DO NOT ! Get Vodafone Broadband..
I’ve had Broadband from many providers over many years and this is the worst experience I’ve had. I’ve been waiting 5 days to be connected and it’s still not happened after 6 phone calls to there technical departments, They keep blaming open reach but it’s purely down to them being able to organise a simple task that was supposed to happen 5 days ago and keep getting told to wait another 24 hours. Stay away from Vodafone and go to a more reliable provider like BT or TalkTalk.

Reasonable broadband, let down by awful customer service. When it was working, it was fine - and problems were few and far between, to be fair. But as soon as anything went wrong, I knew I was in for a load of hassle; their customer service reps are absolutely clueless. The last straw was this morning; my internet had been slow for a couple of days due (I found out eventually) to re-installed Google Drive syncing a load of files which I hadn't asked it to sync. But Vodafone customer services made no attempt to discover this; just fed me a load of rubbish about changing the broadband channel via the app, and how it would be "need 24 hours to adapt to the new settings" (which, handily for them, got me off the phone!)

I was highly recommended by friends to go with Vodafone for my broadband connection as they were always satisfied and never had any problems with the company. Upon vodafone due to take the first direct debit payment, the money was made available by myself in my bank account to Vodafone from 21st May the 1st payment date, this was available until 4th June until the bank put the money back into my account as it was not taken! Upon the 23rd June I had a email as well as a text message to state that my account was in arrears, I was alarmed to receive this so I rung customer services. I spoke with a team member who advised me that this was the banks fault, and also tried to make out that the bill amount was never made available, of which was not the case. The following day my broadband connection was cut off and I also went into my bank to find out why they did not release the funds, the branch manager assured me visually on my account that the funds were available and Vodafone chose not to take the money! I feel the memberw of the customer service team and complaints department are rude, unhelpful and provide you with false and unfactual information. I also feel that they had a cheek to offer me £10 and then £15 compensation for the inconvenience, I explained that I feel that this was unacceptable as It caused me financial stress/difficulties as well as financial loss due to having to go into my overdraft to pay the full amount as well as the arrears off, so I could have my broadband connection turned back on!! After all this is not the customers problem if Vodafone as company do not take the payment for this service! Otherwise the speed and the reliability is great! Vodafone sort out your customer care and service as it is very poor, unprofessional and ignorant!!

Awful speed.
Then we tried to organise a home move. OMG. Left for 3 weeks with no internet. Lost our precious home phone number and ended up cancelling contract.
Customer services were awful. Spent around 10 hrs trying to resolve the issue. Could not get speaking to anyone who could actually help me.

Awful customer service and incompetent staff
I have had Vodafone broadband for over one year now and recently tried to arrange a house move. Vodafone are unable to supply at my new property and after what they have put me through i`m glad.
I gave them the date I was moving, which was in July and that was agreed as my disconnection date. They assured me that it would be 30 days before i disconnected which would take me past my move out date. 2-3 days later, they have disconnected me and have now told me it is up to 14 days to reconnect.
I rely on internet immensely for my job like most of us. I was bounced around different departments and "managers" and told to expect various phone calls throughout the day which did not happen.
So now with 3 weeks to go until i move, I have no internet thanks to the incompetence of Vodafone. I was also told at one point I was going to be compensated and be put through to the billing team...never happened. I am going to progress forward with legal action.
My phone is also with them and i will be expediting a move from their awful service.

I have had various ISPs and Vodafone has been decent (a couple of minutes-long outages) but down-stream bandwidth are consistently above 20Mbps (mostly 40Mbps) which is good enough for my IPsec, streaming and kids' usage. Had experienced loads of other ISPs for myself and supporting colleagues' home internet during lockdown, so far Vodafone (decent), BT (mostly decent), Zen (good), Sky (ok-ish), Now (meh-ok), Virgin (where's the rest of 480Mb?) and Origin (god no).
