signed up for superfast 1 but was signed up for superfast 2 when it all came through the sales guy must get more bonus i guess
so i thought i was going to get a faster service so i decided to live with it
after 4 mnths of speed issues and not even to be able to deliver their lowest guaranteed speed and regular calls to customer service i decided enough is enough
nothing has been fixed like they say they will do if there is an issue
i have now cancelled my contract
the minimum speed i should have got was 55 got 21 no where near what i was promised
the service didnt drop out too often
my advice is stick with what you know
the thing is they are all meant to use the same lines so how one can give slower speeds compared to your previous supplier i do not know
the only thing that changed was my supplier and when i did it was terrible
search for reviews for your new supplier on google before you sign up

Incredibly low quality from the start - miscommunication between internal departments, inaccurate information, continuous mistakes with the billing and a massive waste of my time on the phone repeating the unresolved issues again and again.
I would not try them again and certainly wouldn't recommend them!

Changed from BT to Vodafone Superfast 2 broadband, with call bundle on the landline. Running up to switch over was set reminders from Vodafone and router arrived as promised. On the day the switch of broadband was seamless and not had any problems with coverage, reliability or speed. On BT my download was 55Mbps and after three weeks is 49Mbps, so a little slower but doesn't cause any issues for Netflix at 4K, iplayer etc. Phone was switched over as I kept the same number don't have caller ID but not investigated that as yet. The Vodafone Router is working well, I have a TPLINK VR9000 which I used with BT as a replacement to their hub, only issue was I tried to retain my existing SSID and password, SSID wasn't an issue but the router imposed rules on the password which meant I had to change every device in the house, which is when you realise how many items you !! Will keep the Vodafone router in place for the time being and the TPLink as backup just in case. Overall, very please with the service so far and saving me a significant amount of money from BT's exorbitant charges.

Vodafone guaranteed 10.8 Mbs upfront in writing, initially all went well with installation etc. After a couple of weeks the internet speed started to cause spooling and drop out, speeds of 7.8 Mbs according to Vodafone but Oopla showed 7 Mbs. Router and incoming box was changed and all okay for a couple of weeks and a repeat of previous problem, Vodafone agreed speed had dropped off to 6.4 Mbs but watching TV and tele-conferencing, not together caused spooling and connection loss. Complained and was given the normal checks and they agreed that the rate had fallen to below the 6.4 and was at 5.8 Mbs, Oopla shows 4.8 Mbs. Final outcome more spooling, line down more often but Vodafone has given a whopping 15% discount on monthly charge and basically said live with it or go to another provider. Problem no Virgin in the area and Openreach will be backup so nothing will change. Speed at box is 21 Mbs so telegraph line is degrading quality to circa 5 Mbs (75%), so money being taken for service provided and maintenance but the latter not being done as distance from box to router calls should provide circa 15 Mbs. Vodafone is not in control of Openreach and therefore supplies rubbish Broadband.

Do not consider Vodafone if you need business support. I tried to buy a business broadband and landline package but the engineers did not come on the confirmed date to install it. After repeated calls I was told days later that the engineers had reported a problem with the installation before the installation date, but Vodafone had not passed on this information to me or attempted to reschedule the appointment. All this took a long time to sort out because calls to customer services have to go via home broadband support and incur long delays on hold while they put you though to a business support agent. I was told there is not a direct line phone number for business support. After a great deal of wasted time I have cancelled the contract.

Changed from BT to Vodafone and am on Superfast 1 broadband, with voicemail on the landline. Switchover of broadband was seemless and not had any problems with coverage, reliability or speed. Phone was swtiched over and was able to keep the same number but voicemail wasn't added. I phoned up four times until it was finally added on. The staff were very nice each time but the fact I was told three times it was to be added in the next 24 hours, and it never was, was a bit of a nuisance. Also, the line dropped whilst put on hold on two of the calls. So overall I'd recommend as the service itself is good, despite the poor customer service.

Despite promising me that I could keep my landline number, I have lost it, and the combined forces of the Chief Execs offices at Vodafone and BT seem incapable of retrieving it. Vodafone have now agreed to compensate me. Do not believe them if they say you can keep your number. They will give you a new number and then have no interest in porting your old one.
