    Worst broadband provider ever!!! Unreliable broadband has been cutting off for the past 3 months they're very greedy unsympathetic useless once I've paid my last 2 bills am changing to another RELIABLE broadband service NEXT!!!!

    Terrible provider. I have been waiting 4 months for installation as they keep sending the wrong team to do the job, or noone turns up when arranged.

    A third party company talks to you, who then talk to talktalk, who then talk to BT. They all cream off a bit of profit for providing no service and it's impossible to arrange anything as you cannot speak to BT directly. A complete racket.

    Waiting for an engineer more than two weeks nobody shows up even they say they will come and make you lose a whole day.
    Customer based service in India. Staff’s English is very poor they lie you and hang up the phone.

    Awful awful awful - can't wait to go back to EE. Constantly having connection problems. Eventually managed to get them to send an engineer round however we were only given an approximate time. We weren't able to let him in the house immediately when he came round. He subsequently left and we were charged £30. Still no resolution despite hours of calls to talk talk!!! Lots of other costs seem to keep being snuck into bill. Never use broadband from this company!!!

    Worst decision I ever made - so bad from day 1 that I got them to let me out of the contract and refund my first two payments, but now they have the audacity to pursue us for the FULL contract!!!

    Having lots of trouble trying to get through to a manager to sort out my internet. It has now been 4 weeks that I have been without Internet and still no resolution. I still haven't received any calls from the managers despite being told numerous time they would call. Thank god for 4g and 02 for their generous data packages

    Talk talk are ok if you never have any problems but once you do they're near impossible to deal with. The first technical support centre you speak to barely speak any english and mostly try to fob you off. For example when I phoned to complain about my poor broadband speed on my 76mb/s fibre line I was told that it was perfectly acceptable to be receiving only 0.5mb/s download speed. After arguing this wasn't what I was paying for the woman wouldn't back down. I eventually gave up and phoned customer complaints, at which point I finally got someone who could speak english and sorted the problem. The next problem involved us not being able to access the internet, 4 days of no connection later we are no further forward with the absolute worst customer service department in the world. Honestly go to plus net, they're the same price and us UK call centres.

    where do i start, saw an online offer for simply broadband free for 18 months and a £100 love2shop voucher if you swap from sky and keep your old number. only after i had submitted the order did i realise that they had given me a new number, so got in touch via online chat the same hour of the order. so a week before the service goes live stay the same new number, so again i contact them, no reply.
    Today the service went live, well was meant to. No internet or landline, so my wife calls them. long story short she was on the phone for four hours spoke to 10 different people. despite being told that it was talktalks fault she was actually told that we where to blame. after 4 hours of pass the customer AND £45 of charges to her mobile bill ( as landline not connected) she got the account sorted EXCEPT that as there is new landline number we do not qualify for the voucher offer. SCAM DONT ON FALL FOR IT LIKE US.

    Do not use this company. Bad broadband speed. Incompetent customer service. High charges. Bad lines and no protection of your personal data. I pay for sun fast broadband and freezes all the time or cuts out. Phone line is noisy. Fees are high.

    1 Star does not do them justice , I wish there was a minus 0 star option . Poor poor poor in every sense of what they call service . Very slow broadband , very poor customer service . Please don't be tempted to go with them as you will regret it

    Just do not go anywhere near this company, it is a shambles. The support teams lie and make things up. I have had no broadband for 2 weeks, they tell me Open Reach are looking into this and it will be another 2 weeks. I contact Openreach and they know nothing of my issue. They will not keep going with this level of support, not a chance.

    In my opinion the worst telecoms provide in the UK. Anyone voluntarily using TalkTalk needs their head examined. Voicemail/Phone redirect - not working for 9 months. Broadband 0.01 to 0.04 MPS upload speeds for 14 days.......making it unusable ......tech support useless, I suspect that my 12 year old knows more about systems work than they seem to. As for customer support, they're SO RUDE and couldn't be less helpful and if you assert your consumer rights, they cut you off saying you're being threatening ....they seem to think that threatening to go to court falls within threatening language ....what a joke.

    Very poor customer service without internet now second week, promised new router in fact promised twice , nothing arrived .I am very dissapointed and when I said then I want to cancel my account they said it will cost me 150.00 pounds!!!!The customer service and the technical team are not prepared at all, and not supportive not to mention the poor quality calls .When I will be out of this contract I will never make anything with Talk Talk

    Talk Talk have been the single biggest waste of money in my family's life.
    The 'high speed' broadband has rarely, if ever, been​ fast. It has consistently slowed​ to dial-up speeds or failed completely. Sometimes the wifi will work other times not, amongst all of this the so-called help desk staff have been absolutely useless, having foreign call centres is fine, even with sometimes impossible to understand accents. However, it doesn't matter where someone is from if they don't have a clue what they're doing. No matter how many times you ask me to turn my router on and off or change my WiFi channel it will not fix an underlying issue. I have now given up dealing with them and have cancelled my contact, no point paying for something that I can't use. Please avoid TalkTalk and stick with more reliable and helpful suppliers.

    I am in a state of shock, that a so called big company can legally supply as service which is so poor. I rarely had a functioning service, but was always expected to pay. Everytime you call to speak to someone, your put through to someone in the Philippines who can barely speak english and who has the same two lines programmed into their vocabulary. Never again !!!

    Very Bad customer care service.this is what happens when you don't look after your call center which are running from India.I am trying to get my refund of £114 pound for the line rental which was paid upfront when I placed the order last year.My biggest mistake to choose for TalkTalk over sky.I am still chasing this call centre guys from India-Talk Talk to get my refund.it's been one year since I made payment online by card and my payment gone missing but my Bank advised me that Payment was made.I don't know it's been 1 yr and I am still sending fax for for getting my refund.these call centres are pathetic the service manager was talking to me like he is king from India and doen't care if my £100 pounds gone missing.there is no courtesy by customer service manager to feel the pain I am going through.he was even not telling his name name properly but I got this first name right,he tells me it's Viraj Subb so please be aware of TALK TALK.Stay clear from this company.it's worst.

    Talk talk are the worst company I have ever known. The customer service is shocking. The only good point about the company was it was cheap but u couldn't give it away now that we realise how bad the company is. They changed the install days 3 times, then they canceled our contract with out telling us we was on the phone to them for 3 hours getting passed around . We finally got it all up and running but the tv doesn't work its constantly has no signal and the picture is pixelated every 20 seconds. We rang them they said it was our problem with the aerial yet we've had it checked and it's fine. They want £450 off us to cancle the contract, they want money out of us when we arnt even getting what we are paying for. The website is never working the app is never working. Maybe talk talk should concentrate on fixing your problems rather then advertising your services cheap to get more customers, if u kept your customers happy they wouldn't need to leave you, I woudlnt recommend this company to my worse enemy :) if you want a hassle free tv and Internet go with sky yeah you pay more but u honestly get what you pay for, once our contract ends with talk talk we will never return and I will make sure none of my friends or family use them. I'm a hairdresser so I will also make sure my clients never use them!!!

    Totally DISGUSTED WITH TALKTALK....over a year of frequent broadband disruption, no compensation as promised, over 20 hours on the phone to a foreign call centre, following their failure to supply contracted reliable broadband, i advised, and stopped payment, they then bullied me to pay a breach of contract, under threat of filing a default credit rating!!!

    Dont make the same mistake i made,....pay a little more for a stress free life!!

    I would advise anyone to think before signing up to talk talk in that time I have had no end of problems numerous calls to the call centre witch is not based in the UK it is the worst provider out there I have was offered fiber at £19.95 when I phoned to complain then 2 days later when I called to say that the complaint still was not resolved they offered me the same deal at £25.oo i called today as they sent me out a new router only one of the cables was not the rifght connection and guess what yes they offered me another deal at wait for it £22.95 I am now in the process of looking for a reliable supplier all I can say is avoid .

    Absolutely shocking! Was okay for the first 3 months then there after it’s been so unreliable! Can’t wait until my contact ends in January because I will not be renewing my contract I will be going with someone else!

    Don't deal with this company, I had no broadband for over a month and told me a pack of lies with one agent who actually hung up on me when I told him I was cancelling my contract.I put this in writing to them, sent an email to their CEO and have heard nothing from them. Absolutely appalling service after being with them from day one

    I only get ~5mb/s, and I am in CENTRAL LONDON. I have been needing to contact their miserable excuse of a customer service, EVERY 3 WEEKS because of a network fault. During the weekends and some evenings, my speed would drop to <1mb/s, rendering it useless.
    Recently (4 weeks ago), the internet would start cutting out randomly AT 5 MINS INTERVALS. It would come back, and then cut off again. Bear in mind, I am in Zone 2 (boundary of Zone 1) of one of the busiest cities in the world, and this is the best quality of their product they can give me? I'm now moving to another ISP in 3 days.

    Rubbish service, you can't contact customer service. Paying for broadband without having any access to internet. Just pathetic. Don't buy talktalk. Never going to go back to them again.

    I have been with Talk Talk for a year now.so far I cannot remember how many phone calls I made to them regarding the internet. Some days I had to turn the box off several times and on again,once I had no internet for 3 days for which I had a refund. Sometimes when I am in the middle of doing something on line, I would get the message "you are not connected to the internet " Every time I rang them they told me exactly the same thing,do this and do that, but the problem was still there. To cut a Long story short. They sent 2 different supposedly Talk Talk Engineer round. They checked this and that and reported back to Talk Talk tha there was no fault. Last August I had enough and told them I was going to cancel my Direct Debit and sue them for bad service. They then sent a real BT Engineer this time, He checked everything and was there nearly one hour. Then he went to the "Green Box " and told me he shortened some wire. He came back and connected the "third" box and it worked. Last month they had the cheek to charge me £60 for an Engineer s visit when it was their fault all that time. So, I wrote direct to the CEO's office. I got a reply to say that they had passed my complaint to a complaint Manager who will contact me in the next 3 days - that was 12 days ago! And I am still waiting.i have now written to the CEO's office again, enclosing a copy of their letter. If I don't get my money back, this time I will go to the Ombudsman.i will never recommend them to anyone.

    In the last 18 months 3 x New router, could not understand the language. we rang customer service she started speaking in her own language very loudly to a colleague very rude. Lost internet connection number of times in the last 18 months, so many we have lost count. ZERO STARS HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED.

    Without a doubt the worst service I have ever experienced.

    Staff are rude, they constantly hang up and generally don't care about the appalling service. I had one guy start laughing before he hung up the call.

    I have spent well over 10 hours trying to resolve an issue with their broadband (currently getting 0.06 download speed)

    Avoid Talk-talk at all costs!!!

    So first off, i enjoy gaming. I play a variety of different games. So my family saw a deal which offered "better" speeds than we currently had. We decided to move to Talk talk so that we would have a better connection with all of us in the household. I did not realise then how wrong i would be. So far i have been with them for around a month to a month and a half. I have never seen such low speeds. We rang up and they did a connection test. They told me that we were getting a solid 14-15 mbps around the house. I did my own test then and it turned out that we were getting 1mbps. The download speed is horrific. It got so bad at one point that i was downloading with 1byte/second. THAT IS THE LOWEST IT CAN GO. They didnt even offer me support on how to fix it they just kept teling me it is all fine. I would never ever reccomend talk talk to anyone. Also i cannot even watch a youtube video right now.... and i am trying to run it in the lowest connection. I have even had to resort to using my neighbors wifi instead as it turns out i can get better connection. If you want my advise stay far away from this company No matter how good the deal looks you will never get good broadband. Go for something a little more expensive with a more trustworthy supplier.

    I have been having nothing but problems with TalkTalk since joining them. The internet is so poor that me, my wife and kids who we all have phones, iPads etc cannot use the wifi because it does not work! I have had at least 30-40 calls back and fourth with TalkTalk regarding this same reoccurring issue, they will try telling me to reset the box, unplug it, last thing I always coincidentally get told is that there is problems in the area with the internet connections phone lines ect. Which is bull!! In June of this year I was on the phone to a lady for almost an hour, who I can only describe who is still learning English, not being racist at all but I politely asked if I could speak to someone who I can communicate with which will understand my issues more clearly, she hung up the phone. I called back and by this time I had enough and told them to cancel my contract with them, this is where more fun begins. They lowered my monthly costs for broadband, took my phone line out of the contract. So haven't had a house phone that works for 2 months now. Also told me I had to pay off the rest of the remaining money if I wish to leave TalkTalk. Even tho I am paying every single month on tim FOR A SERVICE I AM
    NOT RECEIVINGe, for I say fast fibre but I would lie so i pay for slowest fibre broadband. I would never recommend this company to anyone at all, I cannot wait to leave this money grabbing, fraudulent pieces of cow dung

    Worst decision I ever made.
    Would not believe the level of incompetence from their "customer service". Get cut off when you are put on hold for over 20 minutes. Endless security questions, even wrote 7 complaint letters as I was getting no joy on email and STILL not dealt with my complaint.

    In my opinion they do not deserve any stars. From the first day of having talktalk and having an engineer install everything, we have had problems. The engineer was VERY inappropriate, making inappropriate comments.
    MULTIPLE phone calls have been made about our AWFUL broadband speed. An engineer was called out (free) and checked our speed and left. Nothing was resolved. He said there were errors and that couldnt be fixed.
    An engineer came last week for the same reason and had a coffee, checked our speed and left. Nothing resolved this time either. I was told the call out would be FREE otherwise i would NEVER pay it unless completely necessary, especially being a student.. but they are trying to charge me for the call out. Customer service is horrific, the services are very bad.
    I only went with talktalk as it was the cheapest at the time when I was starting university, but now.. I wish i had payed more. From the extreme bad services to their bad customer service skills. They try and charge you for little things now and again.. adding sly little charges.

    I WOULD NOT recommend talktalk and would say just just go for the more expensive. You probably wont get any problems.
    I can't wait to leave, and start up with Virgin. Never had any problems with them!!!

    TalkTalk are absolutely terrible. Ok when everything works but appalling service when you try to fix a problem. AVOID THEM they are the Ryanair of the Comms world - cheap cheap cheap in every way. GO WITH A COMPANY THAT GET SOME GOOD REVIEWS.

    Its a big joke! Im not a customer anymore after days of calling and asking why i don't have internet. They don't know anything and after no internet connection for almost a month, they told me to wait for a call for about 3 days! What a joke.

    We've had our phone with TalkTalk for some years and it's been OK, however, in July we upgraded to phone and broadband, it's now nearly October and still we wait! We get a "progress" report every few days which always ends with "we'll call you again with an update" Oh, and another thing, we can't receive phone calls anymore, I explain this but I may as well be speaking Esperanto for the good it does. "You'll go live on 14 September" they say, which year would that be I ask! We need a decorator now to repair the wall that's been damaged by my head banging. If only I'd known.... hindsight and all that!

    Had Talk Talk installed yesterday for it to work for only 5 mins. 10 phone calls to them been transferred from department to department and I still have no Internet. Today I've been told I now have to wait for City Fibre to contact me to arrange an appointment for an engineer to come out which will be within the next 3 days. If this issue is not resolved by then I will be cancelling my contract and go elsewhere. Very dissatisfied by the whole issue and it has been so stressful and upsetting so far.
