    Awful service, telephone line broadband (Product title;fast broadband)...constantly drops out of connection when in the middle of working/using. Extremely slow uploads/downloads rate of 1.22 Mb when other providers around were at least over 5MB. Customer service dept is overseas and repetitive when dealing with complaints. Dont call back when they promise. All calls to them take hours with agent asking same details over and over. When you complain of awful service they dont let you cancel without paying the full remaining monthly direct debits in total??? For a service that is unusable...how do they get away with this after all the government reviews and consumer complaints over internet provision in last few years? Never use Talk Talk if you expect a decent service that stays connected for more than 20 minutes at a time. I am fighting to leave them and find a usable service probably costing less than theirs!

    Signed up with Talk Talk as they were offering us fibre and sky our previous provider said they were unable supply.We were promised fibre on july 20th could not wait for faster speeds.The date came and went and our connection became slower than with sky!Managed to get through to TT after 30mins on phone customer services were hopeless kept putting you throught to other departments promising call backs that never happen etc.It took about 3 days of wasted time on calls and live chat before they actually confirmed fibre not connected after previous saying it was live!!. My wife has spent hours on phone/live chat to them during school holidays we must have been given another 5or6 go live dates for Fibre all have come and gone. They alternate the excuses every time its obvious they are just lying to us.The last hour long waste of my time to get to the order management department who say your case manager will ring you back tomorrow(what a joke).Its 14th sept now and TT said our next review(not connection) date would not be until October 2nd.Talk Talk have offered a product they seem unable to supply and more worryingly don't seem to care about customers. Out of frustration rang BT they are happy to give us fibre but you guessed it Talk Talk refused to transfer our number over. You would think us trying to force a move would trigger someone from TT to ring us and discuss our problem but sadly not. BT tell us its illegal for them to withhold number changeover but after all why should Talk Talk care. BT are trying again to take over our line but not hopeful. Next step is complaint to ombudsman and ceo of Talk Talk.

    absolutely disgusting service only lasted 3 months made 40 odd phone calls, 10 hours on phone, 2 engineer visits one didn't show up, came out of contract, customer service shocking, hard to understand, haven't got a clue, ive sat for many hours listening to them type on their computer tap tap tapping away, they really don't care about their customers at all stay away if you want to stay sane :)

    What an absolute joke this company is I have had nothing but issues I am currently on hold to them and have been for 45 mins been passed around to each colleague that's most probably sat next to each other in the same office.the rudeness of the staff is unbelievable the last guy said I have the manager here ready to speak 15 mins later I am still waiting nothing ever gets resolved they just pass everything off.and the Wi-Fi connection is horrendous we run everything on my phone internet

    This company is disgraceful!! Charges higher then expected. Send bills that aren't yours and then sell debts which are fabricated to debt companies to try and bully you into paying when you have proof that it isn't your debt!! Steer clear of this company. They are complete fraudsters!!!

    Don’t get TalkTalk I’m suing from Monday due to them not returning my money from last year their customer service treats you like rubbish and the courts have said it’s criminal activity they are doing. If your looking for broadband then go to virgin and not TalkTalk as TalkTalk might not be around for long according to Ofcom

    I was a customer of Talktalk a few months ago. I was constantly unable to access my account online, persistently unable to access my email. They constantly messed up my account and they finally restricted my services and told me to pay them 2 weeks before the bill was even due! A few months later they are harrassing me with debt collectors for over £700 !!!! I am so livid! I have never ever experienced such absolute crap from any other company I have ever dealt with! Even when I tried to phone them I had to constantly repeat myself to them and nothing was ever properly solved! Sign up to Talktalk at your peril!!!!!

    Ive only been with talk talk for about 2 months and they have already messed me about. I have been over charged by double the amoun and when i rang up they were making excuses not to refund me my money. They also tried charging me for an engineer who never turnt up to my house. Im so angry and will be canceling my account with them the next time they mess me about. Really wouldnt recomend to anyone.

    AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

    Talk Talk is without a doubt the worst internet provider I have ever been with.

    I am on the fiber150 deal and without fail, my connection cuts out numerous times every day. When the connection is on my speed is never above 13MB. As I work from home this has been causing me numerous problems. On my package, I have was promised by the salesman a minimum of 100MB. however, when looking at my contract this promise is actually a maximum and not a minimum - this is very sly from Talk Talk.

    Now on to the customer service. Talk Talk customer service is NOT open every day, so if you encounter a problem on one of the 4 days it is closed, which I GUARANTEE you will encounter numerous problems on these days, then there is nobody to speak to in order to help resolve the issue. When I have managed to speak to someone every time I am told that there is no in fact no problem with my connection. Even though it is cutting out at numerous intervals every day. Instead of helping to reslove any issues teh customer service team spend more time trying to lay the faults at your door. For example, one agent told me that the problems are my fault and that I should get a table, place it directly in the middle of my room on a table and place the router on it. I almost choked with laughter.

    So to conclude, please LEARN from MY MISTAKES and never give this company your money.

    10 days after connection, over 4 hours spent on the phone repeating the same details about my phone socket, and still little to no internet. The help staff are unhelpful and rude. I regret the day I signed the contract!

    If you are in area around Canons Park, I would ask to rather prefer killing yourself then to take this connection.

    Worst broadband provider, customer services and contact team. I was past from pillar to post for 2 hours before finally cancelling the whole contract altogether. A full day wasted. The Engineer did not show up, so after waiting in all day taking a day of work, I then had to spend even more time on the phone (mostly on hold) talking to 6 different people. All for them to tell me for my refund (as the service was never activated) I have to call back in 5 days! I also have to wait 30 days for the contact to completely end. All a way to try and get money from you. I would never advise anyone ever to purchase from TalkTalk products. Awful. I could not advise you enough to stay away from this provider.

    APPALLING. This word sums Talk Talk up perfectly. Appalling customer services unless you enjoying wasting 2 hours of your life trying to speak to someone who actually understands what you're trying to achieve by your phonecall. AVOID AT ALL COSTS - WASTE OF MONEY.

    Absolutely dreadful. I've never known broadband to be this bad. It barely works if only one person is online so I have no chance if anybody is. Slow and unreliable. I'd also say that they are guilty of false advertisement. They'd always find a way of getting my latest number and pestering me with phone calls claiming that they have the best Internet speeds. Absolute BS. I feel conned after finally giving in and I will make sure that any time I see or hear anybody asking for broadband recommendations that I tell them how awful TalkTalk actually is

    I give 1 star for each rating. This is the least I can give, but to be accurate I would give zero stars; TalkTalk are utterly useless. I have contacted there customer services, presumably in India, who make promises they simply don't keep.

    I'm sorry I went with talk talk. Ever since I got installed back in march 2018 I've had nothing but trouble with my broadband and phone line, I called them last night about having no internet connection, they tell me it's a fault with one of BTS line which talk talk rent from bt, so in other words, they're passing the book.this will take 72 hours to resolve the problem which isn't good enough. I'm thinking of moving to bt if this problem isn't resolved by tomorrow

    If there was an option for 'zero stars', I would have chosen that.

    It is very rare that a day goes by where I do not need to reset the internet.

    Commonly, I have to spend 15-30 minutes waiting for the internet to sort itself out.

    Talk Talk suggest getting a new router - I've had 3. The service is still atrocious.

    I cannot more strongly suggest getting your internet from someone else if you live in Cambridge.

    Talk Talk mobile, TV, TV PLus and especially broadband are all useless services, as is customer services.

    But it is not Talk Talk's fault. it is OFCOMS's fault that such a bad company is allowed to continue operating.

    If OFCOM were of any use other than a what is now just another resting place for useless beurocrats and public office friends, they would have got this sorted.

    OFCOM and all the other regulatory organisations used to mean something, now they are just a dumping ground for in effective Government Civil Servants that know too much to be sacked.

    In my opinion. And only because surely in this over regulated and controlled world, surely such regulators would not companies operate that actually remove the freedom to be able to access the Internet.

    I also think someone should lobby the legal system to allow for class action lawsuits to be possible in the UK court, just like in the USA, because that is truly more democratic than the UK society that we have at the moment with ineffectual regulatory organisations are just jobs for the girls and boys rather than seriously investigating the issues that affect hundreds if not thousands of people by companies such as Talk Talk & MyHermes...

    Internet cuts in and out every 2 mins (no exaggeration) Numerous times I’ve tried to get in touch and it’s impossible! About as much use a chocolate teapot! Take my money each month for a service that don’t work. Told I would get a phone call back and I’ve not heard a single thing.     whilst talk talk shares go down the pan ,they let some small boy have all our bank details ,cannot provide a decent service and try to charge for engineers visits all the time,dido harding collects her £2.5m pay and worries how she looked on a video she made after the hacking scandal !!!

    Well I've been with talk talk for 8 months and I have been in dispute with them ever since. The broadband and customer service is a disgrace. This service works for 2 hours a day and then cuts out. I'm sick to death with calling them and doing the same checks time and time again. I have got no where and there customer service team don't listen and are damn right rude and bang out of order. 12 times they have put the phone on me. What kind of service is this. A representative called today at 13:19 and as soon as I said no the issues aren't resolved he too put the phone down. I've asked to cancel 4 times which also declined. Sick to the back teeth. I don't know what to do know. Legal action

    For £40 a month I was getting 10mps download speed and 600kps upload speed. Overpriced and the most unreliable network. When you phone up your on the phone for at least an hour.
    I'm with sky super fast now £30 a month with 100mps download and 10mps upload.

    I dont know why it took me so long. After 25 years I am leaving due to their abysmal customer service and broadband which is much slower than I am paying for. Even though I have already left Talktalk still insists on one months notice and I am not happy with that since I was not getting the service as described and not compensated. Right now I am still paying them and using my new suppliers service. You are currently unable to speak to customer services as they have obviously reduced their support team. Why? You also cannot communicate via their chat app as it fails, and I would have quit much sooner if I could have. Finally I had to put in a formal complaint before anyone responded. Too little too late.

    Been with them for the last 6 month and nothing but trouble. Nobody cares. Internet it's mega sloe, keeps dropping and cuts you out so that you have to reset the box several times a day. We only use it evenings and weekends. And we are only 2 ppl using the WiFi with phones or tablets. But really, really slow and terrible. Customer service is so unhelpful and couldn't care less. Have to chase to get a call back.
    I try to get out the contract .. Fingers crossed.

    Dp not sign up to them. Waste of money and time!!!!!!

    I rang up TalkTalk today to query about broadband. Very poor service over the telephone- the agent was trying so hard to sell me their TV package, claimed it was free, and added £5 per month onto the quote.

    In the end I told the agent that I did not want to proceed with the order with TalkTalk after having given some of my details, and I refused for a credit check to be undertaken.

    I received multiple missed calls and voicemail messages this afternoon and have just received an e-mail thanking me for my order! I am outraged that TalkTalk have put the order through without my consent- setting up payments from my bank account. This is disgraceful service. Stay away.

    From start to finish I had nothing but trouble slow internet constantly would cut me off many times because they did not take money when I got paid instead tried taking it days prior and the customer service is horrific just lie to you and pass you on also many occasions sod just cut you off after being on hold for hours stay away from this provider !!!!!

    wow.. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE.. where to begin?
    1) Wifi doesnt work. never has
    2)Internet worst ive ever had( worse than a dongle!)ps3 online - no chance, online poker -no chance ( once disconnected with me having AAAA and 2 people all in for an amount of money which would pay the whole service 2 years over.)
    3)no ethernet cable will work with the router other than the crummy 2ft one provided.
    4)they add things to your bill youve never asked for ( charged me 7.50 calls boost i didnt ask for and have never used the phone once in 3 months? madness)
    5)when you complain to customer service about the extra charges they decided you need to pay. they say what you want to hear and then charge you again anyway( happened this months bill too)
    6)when your direct debit doesnt work when youve agreed a 18.45 a month package, left 20 in the bank and it isnt covered coz theyve added 7.50 to your bill against your will they also charge you 10 fee.
    Absolute con artists, amazed how they are still in business. ill end as i started AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!

    In short, if you want to cancel your broadband, expect to be ripped off. If you want to use your broadband, expect it to be slower than competitors in the area. God forbid, if you want to speak to anyone as you are likely put through to South Africa who hang up on you. I rarely have the energy to despise companies, but Talk Talk are one of those. Avoid, avoid avoid.

    Again talk talk webmail down, not for a few minutes but for hours, been with tiscali and talk talk for a few years now, service just keeps getting worse. Lost my services again not so long ago for several days, got£15 refund after a lot of complaining. This company is appalling, every issue gets the same via India service, same questions time and time again. I've got to change my service provider soon, really had enough.

    I had to suffer through two months of a few dozen phone calls to the customer centre in India, and taking time off work to let an engineer in (they never came in citing different excuses). I wrote my story on talktalksucks.org , hopefully will deter some people from using them as their ISP.

    Waste of time and money, was advised not to go with TalkTalk but seemed like a good deal. People in India are very unhelpful and down right rude (stating all systems were down and hung up) and trying to cancel is a nightmare. Shame on you! Deserve to be hacked! AVOID!

    Connected in Dec 18 and I am so disappointed.no where near speeds promised but a good enough signal however have failed to provide the £75 voucher promised via USwitch within 90 days. Hours on the phone,many promises and it now about 130 days and another promise it will be sent out in 14 days.Have now contacted ombudsman and seeing if can leave for breach of contract.
