Absolute rubbish i cant leave a bad enough review without the use of swear words and if i could use minus 5 stars i would.. Ive had speed test results of 1mb/s or less on regular occassions, it drops out for no reason on a daily basis, customer service is next to none existent and if by some miracle you get through to someone all they do is try to blame it on bt. Also wont let me out of my contract.

Really, really, REALLY unreliable. From the internet service itself frequently breaking down, to the reliability of the routers and 3 boosters and the SkybQ box itself. The signal is weak, the hardware poor and the customer “service” laughable. Having been with Sky for over 25 years we have had enough. The whole service is pathetic and over priced.

Sky is the worst broadband going, disconnects nearly every day, the 'help' screens to reconnect are useless and do nothing.

Coverage on this router is pathetic. Customer service isn't good either. Tried to keep us for 2 yrs but we decided to change provider in the end. Took international 500 min calls free per month but when we need to ring, no connection. Totally wasted money and time on this service.

I wouldn’t blame the customer service agents because they try to do their best to help. It’s the company itself that is rubbish. They increase their prices in the middle of the year and instead of reducing their issues, they stop their services completely (like today). Just check the “Down” website to see the reports!! Been paying for 40Mb/s and getting 2Mp/s. Such a joke! Can’t wait for to get out of this contract.

I made the big mistake of switching from hyperoptic to Sky for my broadband. I've had nothing but troubles since. Constant outages and unreliable internet. When asking for an engineer to take a look, the wait time was more than one week i.e. I had no/poor internet for a week while working from home. Would not recommend Sky at all.

Absolutely rubbish service, my speed is always lower than average as I live too far from the exchange and the fibre in the village is over subscribed so no chance of getting that.
Try to do diagnostics on sky website is a nightmare, I try and do a test and it says I`m not a customer,WHAT!!!! I`m logged into my account for Christ sake. Customer services are always busy so can never get to talk to anyone. I know the line isn't theirs but for the price of the line rental,i would expect a better connection.
Seriously thinking of packing it all in.

If there was a zero rating I would gladly give it. Very happy to take the money and suddenly and with no warning impose ridiculous and unasked blocks. Slow internet speeds. Poor service.

Just upgraded to sky broadband to replace over expensive EE. Wish I’d stayed with EE. Setup is tricky and customer support although patient and helpful could not fix the unusual behaviours of my Win10 machine. iPad works better but signal constantly drops. Avoid.

Awful. Absolutely terrible service, drops out all the time, sky q doesnt work properly and engineers seem unable to fix, customer care unable to help. I pay over 80 a month for a premium service which is incompetent, incapable, just downright disappointing. Please dont make my Mistake. Ive spent hours, literally on the phone, on hold, meeting engineers and all to no avail. Now theyve cancelled a much needed appointment and sent me a text!! Unbelievably dire service. Beyond me, its so poor.

I have had broadband with Sky for 10 months. During this time my internet has stopped working several times and Sky have been unable to resolve this. It is currently working fine though.
The reason that I am leaving Sky for good is because they took a higher direct debit than contracted. When I rang to inform them they were unable to resolve the issue as the manager wasn't there. 4 days later I had a voicemail telling me that my contract would be extended for 2 months at the reduced price to compensate for my overbilling. This assumes I would have stayed with them once the reduced price period ends. I called again and asked for a refund. They said the only thing they could do was not bill me for two months. As a result I lost interest on my bank account as I need two DD's to be taken. I rang up a third time and was finally given a refund. I can not trust Sky not to steal my money as this was an error that should have been rectified immediately, not taking my money and keeping it for months.

Would not recommend, the worst speeds possible and cuts out at least 2/3 times a week.
I’ve had a wifi booster sent but that was practically useless…if anything the wifi booster made it worse. Paying way too much money for a broadband that probably would’ve only been impressive back in the stone age. Awful awful service.

so ive had this for a couple years now and over the time ive had it its never changed. download speeds peak at about 5 mbps which is lower than the promised 20 mbps, upload speed is atrocious consistently below 1 mbps. it has frequently dropped to about 60 kbps and its disgusting that they give you this and tell you you cant leave without paying the rest of the contract at once. they refuse to fix this and its equally as bad for the rest of the area i live in and anytime you complain about it theyll just send you another hub saying that that should fix it. that changes absolutely nothing. the internet speeds are absolute garbage. never get sky broadband

I discussed with Car PHone warehouse salesman I needed broadband and tv phone. I said i had cancelled my Talk Talk contract and had to make a decision quick so I did not lose broadband due to the fact I had put the cancellation through and due to my sons uni work which urgently required service. Now Sky ring me and tell me that I have to take the cancellation off from previous provider which means another months payment to them or lose my phone number and have a big delay in setting up my broadband. Great THINK VERY CAREFULLY BEFORE CHANGING PROVIDERS ESP TO SKY as I did not have this problem changing from Virgin. Also when you phone customer service you will have a massively long wait and their comment is that they cannot do anything about that so it is ok for us to have to pay huge bills to sit on the phone for half hour or more. Why is there not an email contact form for customers. I am bitterly disappointed in this as I do not have time to keep searching around and this seemed a good deal but obviously good deals are not always what they seem to be so buyer beware before you sign over. Now thanks to a useless salesman not telling me the facts before i signed up I will be left with no broadband and phone

Just cancelled a 10+ year sky subscription been a fully paid customer, they've switched off all my recordings and purchased films.... judging by the reviews on here there are more dissatisfied clients than happy ones. Let's hope this profiteering, zero customer service company is finally heading to its demise.

I have been having some issues with my broadband for months now. On previous call was promised a call back which did not happen. My broadband now worse than ever. Phoned again and spoke with a very nice man being SCA58. He called back went promised, done all the checks and I'm nit having an engineer out in just 2 days. He has restored my faith on sky and such a pleasure to speak to and very thorough with alk that he done. This man certainly deserves recognition, and other advisers need to learn from him. Thankyou so much for all your help, you was an absaloute star.

By far the worst broadband i have ever had. Drops out once every 5mins cant handle more than 1 device, have to be in the same room as the router, support consists of none technical people, clueless about broadband telling you to restart your router. Best thing about sky is theres a 30 day cancelation period which i took full advantage of. Stay well clear of sky broadband!

Joke, the connection was good at the start. The more you get into it the worse it gets. Connection won’t even work upstairs most of the time. Really do not recommend especially with consoles. The connection doesn’t even work I would be lucky to get connection on my phone in my room never mind on my Xbox. Seems to be the connection is horrible all day and as soon as it his 11:30pm-12am it doesn’t even work at all it’s gone.

    Please stay away from Sky!

Our kids really wanted sky t.v so we swapped our TV, phone and broadband package from BT to sky. Worst mistake ever. Our internet is painfully slow. We complained numerous times but it has never got any better. To make things worse our phone bill was through the roof every month - turns out that we are being charged a national rate for local numbers! Sky claim that Anything outside your own code area ( even if only 20mile down the road) if they have a different dial code the it's national not local!!! Absolute joke!

To use catch up TV we have to wait on a programme downloading all day before we can view it :(

We are cancelling sky and returning to BT.

AVOID SKY... I received a call a couple of months back offering me deal to switch to Sky from BT. I was promised that even though I was in a contract with BT all would be taken care of and I wouldn’t need to pay any money.

It turns out BT weren’t contacted and a new phone line was put in so I am now paying for 2 separate TV/broadband packages. The cost to get out of my BT package is £340...

MYSTERIOUSLY, the recorded phone call can’t be accessed which would prove that Sky messed up, and I am now out of a lot of money whatever happens. Even if I cancel my Sky package, BT will be charging me to sort out the phone line again. On top of that I will need to pay for a new BT router as my old one was disposed of.

Also the Sky broadband connection is very poor. It consistently loses connection and frequently have to use 3G connection on my mobile devices.

If I could give lower than 1 star I would, Sky Broadband is probably the worst broadband you can buy because in order to get the internet speeds you have to buy their booster, heads up pals it doesn't work, you pay for their services and then pay more in order to get what they advertise and then you still don't get what they advertise, Sky recently cut my broadband a month before my contract was up to get their leavers fee, they cut my broadband so they could get more money, if that doesn't give you enough of a reason to drop sky idk what will. If you have Sky now and think it's a decent or reliable broadband wait a few months till your contract is nearly up, you'd be better off with TalkTalk than Sky, you'd be better off without internet than Sky :) do yourselves a favour and buy BT or Virgin broadband instead, it may cost a bit extra but at least you'll get what you pay for.

i love sky it is reliable, never cuts out. sky+HD and sky TV is amazing. but the only thing letting it down is the internet speed, [200 KB/s] it lets me down a lot even on youtube watching videos at 360p. apart from that it is good.

Broadband is an absolute joke. We have been having issues with it for 4 months now. They have sent out engineers 3 times but still can't figure out what the problem is. We have replaced the hub with the new one thinking the old one had a problem. Every time we are having to phone them to reset it over there and it works for few days and it's completely off again. Worst broadband ever!!!!

Had a man come out to “test” our speed to say it was alright then adds I need a power line adapter for my bedroom as the connections too weak. Even with the power line adapter it goes 900kb- 2gb/ps for updates. Don’t recommend at all, especially if you’re gamer

The internet has been down since 19th feb and it’s now the 21st with no update from sky about anything. Quite disgusting as we are their “customers”

Be warned, Sky is not all about customer service.
Talked into switching from BT infinity to sky fibre, promising disruption only being a matter of minutes. I had to suffer without broadband for 4 days, on the bright side they did transfer my telephone as promised allowing me to complain about there service, & for the tech team to be as much use a chocolate fire guard.

Good experience for one year. Moved house and transfer failed. Customer services unable to correct a failed transfer order. Told it was an Openreach problem, then not showing complete on Sky system. Then told I'd have to cancel everything and place a 'new' order. Back of the queue again with 10-14 days for service connection. Should have been transferred on 9th Dec. Now without telephone or broadband over holiday period. Out of contract so might as well switch provider and get a new customer deal with someone else. Disgusted with Sky.

I've recently moved house (2 miles apart). First OpenReach connected me to someone else's line! Previously I was getting around 16Mbps download which was quite good. Tests with assorted speed testers show below 3 Mbps and as low as 0.6 now. I've just downloaded a 12.5 MB file which previously would have taken about 20 secs but took nearly 6 minutes! If the broadband was as good as their customer service it'd be okay. How I miss Virgin!
