The service is borderline criminal, the internet stops every day with zero signal..this happened since day one. Im now a few months in and have got used to it..the signal stops for around 3 -8 minutes and then is very poor..usually under 1mps.for about 30 mins then back to normal. They state they can not gaurantee wifi but it still fails with laptop plugged in. Support is poor and used to be with sky without any issues ...i just decided to go a bit cheaper and paid hugely. I CANT EXPRESS HOW MUCH THIS IS FRUSTRATED ME and i may just pay to leave as i cant work from home any more.avoid this service at all cost.

Thank goodness my contract with this lot is up, had nothing but trouble with there rubbish broadband, cuts out two or three times a day, they do nothing about it, do yourselves a favour and go elsewhere, you will have trouble finding a good review on here about them, be careful because they are changing there name now, probably because of all the rubbish reviews, phoned them today too tell them I won't be staying with them, tried to talk me into taking out another contract, I told them they would have to pay me to stay with this trash broadband.

Have just tried to cancel a phone line as no longer needed. Guess what! It takes two weeks for a Open reach chap to stroll around to the frame and disconnect the wire. Its in the contract, but does not come up on the Post Office site, so the Post Office will get two weeks of line rental from me for nothing. Avoid.

Possibly the worst experience I've had with a company in my whole life. On signing up with the post office I was told that I would have to pay three months up front as they weren't able to preform a credit check. They then gave me a "go live" date, in which a technician would come to fit my internet which would take two weeks. The technician was cancelled as I already had all the fittings I would need to "go live". On the day I was purpose to "go live" my internet never worked, so I called the post office the explain that it might only connect at 12 that night. So I left it on for a extra day before contacting them again to explain it wasn't working. The first girl I spoke to didn't have a clue what she was talking about and said it wasn't there problem and I would need to right my landlord. After ring my landlord and them telling me it's not there problem I contacted them again. The man was increadly rude, and told me they would charge me to have a technician sent out. Which they had cancled because apparently I didn't need one. In the end I had call them 11 times that day and I still had no internet. I called them the next day and spoke to a lady who was lovely and manged to sort it all out and said that some one would be I contacts to arrange a technician to come out free of charge. In the end I missed the call and received a voice mail which asked me to call them again to arrange an oppointment. I've have just called them and they woman so sooo rude, saying they have already arranged an time, I asked her about getting my go live date changed as I didn't want to pay for a service that I haven't had for over a week. She told me that the Internet is free so no you can't. I then explained that although the Internet is free I'm paying for the line rental so it's not intirely free. She then replied with well I that case we will refunded it when it comes to your next bill, which I've paid three months in advance. I would in no way shape or form recommend the post office as an internet provider. There service and customer service is so shocking its unreal. Even if it is the cheapest deal at the time, you might as well pay a bit extra to deal with company who actually knows what they are doing.

I could not agree more with all the other reviews, I wish I had read the reviews before I switched. I get silly low speeds and frequent drop outs. Their response, whilst always polite, is to try to get me to upgrade to fibre (at no discount) which, for all I know, probably doesn't work as either and would trap me in an even more expensive contract. As it stands having endured 4 months of a 12 month contract it would cost me over £100 to escape. I am really kicking myself.

I have been a Post Office Home Phone and Broadband customer for 5 years - the broadband has been unbelievebly slow but we put up with it because it was cheap. We recently lost all phone service so we called them - they said they'd send out an engineer (which they did) but neglected mention how much it would cost!!!! I was informed by the engineer that if they tried to chrge me to complain. Sure enough on my next bill was a charge for £144!!!! When I raised the query they said I had been informed of the cost when I called, which I hadn't because if they had told me it was going to cost that much I'd have cancelled the phone line as it was never used and we only had it out of habit! As I said we have been with them for 5 years never been late with a payment always abided by the term and conditions, and this is how they treat a good customer - by lying and ripping us off! STAY AWAY (sorry for the shouting but I wanted to make sure you heard me!) The way they treat their customers stinks and the way they talk to you on the phone is shameful - their customer 'service' providers are rude and the informatuion they give you is incorrect (and sometimes downright lies!). I don't care how cheap they are that level of service is not worth any financial saving.

Currently watching an hours drama 30 seconds at a time with buffering of 30 seconds in between. I've complained
Numerous times. Apparently they are delivering service within stated paramaters - what a surprise - they are never in the wrong!!
Avoid - avoid - avoid!!! I'm going to have to pay a lot of £ to get out of the contract but it will be worth it - I've had enough!!

Post Office broadband is without question the worst broadband there is. You can't even connect a games console to it and you can't stream video or music without it buffering for 20+ seconds every 3 seconds. Also their so called costumer service is nonexistent. It is a complete waste of money and there are now cheaper and far better internet service providers out there. Do not waste your money on this truly awful service.

I work from home, and lose connection at least once a day. When I contacted Post Office about this issue, they totally misinterpreted my complaint and thought I was complaining that the service was too slow, and simply haven't responded on the issue that I have been having.
Speed itself is generally fine when it's working (which it does >90% of the time), but I cannot recommend a provider whose service drops out at least once a day - often in the middle of important work calls.

AVOID! I cannot believe I am writing this! It took a week to get connected and now it is connected it's off more than its on! Customer services are pleasant when you call. But clearly reading through a tick off list! Several times now I have had to unscrew my connection box to try second plug! Engineer replaced faulty cable that was in my starter pack! Every day at least 6-7 times connection is lost. Sometimes for hours! It's a terrible service!

When I arrived at the post office
There were about 9-10 people in line. Stood in line for 39+minutes aand behind me were another 10 people. Only two clerks. One clerk was in the back for about 10 minutes looking for something for a customer. It’s beyond me why the post office doesn’t provide better customer service. I never visit that post office without having to wait too long for service. No wonder the post office is losing money and in debt. There wasn’t no sign of a Manager. You would think he/she could help out when the line is backed up. The clerks were nice but a little frustrated because customers were not happy with the delay in service.

The most awful broadband supplier ever. A month of speeds at 0.3Mbps, before they agreed to allow me to leave without charge. Still they are trying to send me a bill of £220 for early termination. I have paid for broadband for 4 months now and they refuse to refund the broadband charges I have paid. I now have approx 30Mbps with Origin Fibre for the same price (exactly the same telephone socket!)

have only been with them just past the cool off period and have been plagued with service dropouts lines tested perfect no other faults found used several malware checkers and different antivirus scannes etc yet the minute i switch on there ZyXEL router within minutes it starts getting non stop requests to access the router managment remotely. so far most denied my password was changed so first reset it and added new password . CS now claim its a matter for police not them every 40 mins every 16th failed remote access attempt the broadband connection gets dropped this is just another version of a DOS attack to interupt ones service the fact they claim they cannot do anything is disgusting even with the ip changing dynamically it still excactly the same only other time i experience this level of dropping was when with TalkTalk broadband is it a budget thing that BT dont give the discounting companys security for I wonder

Service is unbelievably poor. We are literally talking 100k to 300k download speeds and highly frequent timeouts on upload and download. Technical team are rude, provided misleading information and did not resolve any issues, apparently they will 'try' to submit a ticket, haven't heard back from them in weeks. DO NOT USE THE POST OFFICE FOR ANYTHING. THEY ARE A 3RD TIER RESELLER. THEY ARE RESELLING THE RESELLERS SERVICE, TalkTalk. Save yourself the hassle and spend a tiny bit more money to get a service that you won't regret engaging with. Am putting full complaint to execs of Post Office as it is a disgrace they can continue to sell services that they can not deliver and talk to their customers in a rude and aggressive manner.

I have never experienced such poor broadband. My connection cuts out multiple times a day, and is slow when it is working. I have also recently had the price I pay increased, for seemingly no reason. I have emailed and called and received absolutely no help, and most of the time they do not even bother to respond.
Absolutely awful broadband, and awful customer service.

We live on a farm at end of the phone line in rural Yorkshire, so broadband is going to be fantastic.
However the broadband speed that Post Office would suffice for general internet use and occasional movie streaming. However the actual speed was only 2/3 of what was suggested.
What really got our goat was when the contact ended and our bills went up from roughly £20pm to £27 then to £37. When we phoned up to speak to them, they were very rude and told us it was our own fault for not knowing when our contract ended and it isn't current legislation to notify us and when I told them Sky let you know the operator said he had his broadband with Sky - when I questioned why he had a package with Sky and not Post Office he quickly moved me on to his usual bullsh!t spout about terms on conditions.
Avoid them like you would the plague. Pay more for a better service.

Shockingly slow "Premier Broadband". Used to get 4Mbps from BT, now getting 0.8Mbps from Post Office. It really limits what you can do. Customer service is non existent. Spent hours on the phone listening to their so called "music". Gave up in the end. No response to my emails either. I would strongly recommend one of the slightly more expensive options.

Take this advice - Post Office broadband is absolute rubbish. It will not allow you to print via wi-fi don’t bother with it at all. The customer service is shocking and support don’t know what they are talking about. Only got it last Friday and a long complaint when in, not even bothered to answer it. Been told today I will have to pay exit fees. If i’m Charged I will be taking them to court as their product is not fit for purpose.

Service not fit for purpose. Asked to cancel service and told I would have to wait 15 days. Still waiting 17 days after, had to contact them again and I was told there had been a mis communication and I hadn't been done. There was no mis communication on my part I made it perfectly clear. I now have to pay for another 15 days while they decide to disconnect it. Disgusting service.

Avoid Post Office Broadband. The service provided is dreadful. My experience has been constant interrupted service or no service at all. Customer Services tonight were tonight 27 January 2021 were arrogant and unhelpful and told me I would wait 15 days for upgrade to Fibre. If I wanted to stop my contract there would be a penalty. Could it be any worse!!!!

This rant is the result of an 8 month build up culminating in an absolute **** show now that I am relying on using PostOffice broadband whilst working from home.
My stingy boyfriend changed internet providers last summer, as saving a couple of pounds a month makes a huge difference...
I was telling him at the time that "PostOffice" does, at least in my opinion, not stand for "innovative fast service", but more for "this will just do for your granny".
8 months into using their service, I can assure you that I would not even recommend this to anyone's granny.
So please, if you are considering changing your broadband provider to the PostOffice, D-O-N-T!!!!!

I've been with post office for over a year now & didn't have any problems until now. Just over 3 weeks ago my phone line was crackly & broadband kept dropping so o called po & after 4 days of talking to them on phone I replaced all cables filters etc they even sent me a new router & suggested I go to my local hardware shop & purchase a bt socket face plate which I refused to do, after 6 days I got the 1st engineer visit he replaced the bt socket & reported a fault in the exchange box outside. 3 days after that I got a second engineer who fixed fault outside & my phone & broadband worked for 2 days I replaced my house phone with a brand new one & didn't make any difference. If I plug in my landline my internet goes off until I unplug my phone then it comes back on after about 20 minutes still waiting to get this fixed will be phoning at 9am I paid a full months phone & broadband bill for 6 days of internet, my contract is almost up so going to check out other company's although I think bt is my best bet

This is the worst service for broadband. I totally regret getting trapped in this deal. Have had nothing but problems. They are slow to react and don't think it's an issue Internet dropping off a few times in an evening . They have a rubbish router you have to use. The customer service have a weird habit of phoning me in working hours to rather than emailing a reply to an email. Eg a password, by phone? The set up is complicated. I hate everything about post office broadband.

This review is for post office broadband.
I have been a loyal customer for several years.
I have NEVER been given the promised speeds that was signed for in the contract, it has always been a bad service and has always cut out regularly, in I do not even get up to 1mbps usually 0.47mbps or less. I stayed with them thinking they would get better with time. They don't.
And now and for the last 6 weeks at least, I can not even load a mobile app over my WiFi. And trying to watch something on Netflix or now TV, well not worth bothering is it. It pixelates so bad you can't make out a face, buffers every minute or so, pauses and plain cuts out.
I would not recommend this service, especially when you pay in good faith, and they still always let you down. And you struggle to communicate with your family and friends.
Made a complaint 3 weeks ago, nothing has been resolved yet.

I have had no internet for a while now. I was late paying my bill. But it was paid in full on friday 13th january 2017. for the amount of £48.70. It was paid by visa so it was an instant payment. I have rang your VERY rude customer service twice. once on saturday 14th january and once on monday 16th january on saturday i was told it would be back on with in 36 hours. When i rang monday i was told i was still going to have to wait further. Most possibly until wednesday 18th january 2017. WHY do i have to wait 5 days to get resumed service? Most companies have it back on with in 24 hours. When my bill comes at the end of the billing month i want those 5 days payments refunded. I do not see why i should pay for almost a week of having no connection. This is not acceptable. Yes i was late with the bill as i had cash problems. But i still paid the bill as soon as i could and i think this is discusting service. I have had this problem before having to wait 3 days to get my service resumed. I made no complaints as i know i was late. That being said. I can not help if i have had cash flow problems. I HAVE ALWAYS sorted things as soon as i could and i want that to be recognised. I completeley understand the restriction and cut of service until a bill has been paid. That is common sence for a company. But i also believe as soon as your customers side of the bargain has been met. In which MINE HAS BEEN. they should be treat as well as any other customer. I could not help my circumstances. You may not understand that. Your probably a millionaire with no cash worries at all. But i am not. I am just an ordenary person in an expensive society trying to make the best of a bad financial situation. i need reconnecting the internet is mostly the only form of communication i get as i have MENTAL HEALTH issues which stop me from from going out and communicating. I have nervous breakdowns when im in public situations that i can not handle. Saying this. i still need to communicate or i would be compleatly alone. I do not appreciate this at all and i seriously want every day you have made me become a social leper by having no internet refunded off my bill total at the end of the month. your company is disrespectful and so is your call centre. This is not acceptable.

The broadband is awful. This weekend has been the worst ever. Every 10 minutes it's cutting out. I call them and it's "ok" for about a day but doesn't last. When you call all they do is a quick fix. I'm receiving 10MB and when you look at other providers that is nothing. This past week I've called 3 times. I can't wait until my contract ends in 6 weeks.
Watchdog will be contacted.
If you buy anything cheap, it's usually rubbish and won't last. So spend a little more for a better service is my advice.
