A company that upgraded all of its systems, YET is still behind in the times.
Just because you upgrade to 200 mb/s, it doesn't mean you are buying the stability of 200 mb/s which has always been KCOM's issue. You are buying 200 mb/s, but you are getting around 40 mb/s.

What a shower of **** this company is.I find it strange that if you run a speed test kcon shows up 94Mbps and BT wholesale shows up 47Mbps (supposed to be 250Mbps). Kcon massaging the figures slightly me thinks. Their monopoly was agreed in a different time when different rules applied - it is not relevant now and should be cancelled.

After having waited on the phone for nearly half an hour to speak to someone about my bill, which didnt explain at all why my bill was more than usual, I finally got through.
Apparently I've come to the end of a slight discount which was for 12 months when I thought it was 18. The contract is 18 months.
After discussing my usage, I'm told that I only use less than 40 gig thiingies a month and use about 9 local phone calls.
They only have deals for either 20 Gigs or 200 Gigs. So I have to pay for the 200 which is 4 times what I use.
This is appalling service and they have us by the short and curlies because there's no one else. I agree with everyone else about KCom. It is rubbish.

If I could give no stars I would. Absolute joke. Have waited for them to install lightstream for three weeks now they were due to come today waited in all morning only to find a slip through the door saying they have been and they weren’t in, I can categorically tell you me and my boyfriend have been in all morning and if that engineer knocked it was the lightest knock ever. Rang KC to be told that he did come and he tried to ring me. No missed calls on my phone. Apparently he was here for ten minutes, I don’t know what he was doing for ten minutes but it was not knocking. It’s only a small house and you can hear the door from every room. The customer service advisor made a comment about the engineer saying the curtains were drawn. Yes they were because we’ve just moved in and don’t have any nets up so don’t want people looking through the window at us. So It sounds to me like he’s knocked once very lightly seen the curtains are drawn and gone. To top it all off we now have to find £120 for the pleasure of all this when we are already paying almost three times the price of competitors and wait another 2 weeks for an engineer. Absolute disgrace of a company and I will not be letting this drop.

Since the lightspeed has been put in my area my broadband speed is down to 2.8mbps. Absolutly disgusting and a lot more expdnsive then a lot of other providers that we can not get!

Left with no email use for the third time. Running a business with these jokers is impossible. Want to get rid of my landline as I only get nuisance calls on it. I'm working to dump K Comms. Also should be able to chat till 8 on a Saturday. Not available at 7. GARBAGE SERVICE

Such A rubbish service. Im sick to death of terrible upload speeds and crashing internet. There is just me here so when my son is home with his mobile and his laptop, the service breaks down. I have lightstream customers behind me and the to left of me and opposite me here on Main Street yet I cannot have it until July...Absolutely disgusting. I pay a bloomin fortune for this internet, forced to as we have no other options available. KC-What is wrong with you? Your days will be numbered when other services become available so take heed, get your finger out and give your customers a decent experience

Worst customer service ever! 10 months still not got my speed back to anywhere near it use to be before. Wasnt great in the first place! 2.9 mbps to 3.5 mbps down to 0.4 mbps and after 10 months kcom finaly give up and said ill have to wait for lightstream! KCom usual offer of credit and discount but no actual money refunded! No refund for past internet even though there was no speed at all. It is true when a company has the monopoly they take full advantage of its customers, over charge and give an apauling service at Hulls peoples expence! More people need to complain to the onbudsman and stop taking it from Kcom!
Why is the monopoly still allowed when its ileagal i want to know?

Just the worst, most overpriced service from a company I have ever had to deal with, and in the rural Hull area we have no other choice! a staggering £50 a month JUST for phone and broadband!!.... The equivalent Talk talk package is £20!
