Awful customer service, near impossible to get hold of. In store staff have no technical knowledge and just want to sell. Home broadband is very poor, it can work properly for periods then the speed drops for weeks. I had much better customer service from other providers and most importantly there broadband worked consitently.

EE is an appalling mobile phone service provider and I recommend that everyone avoids it like the plague. From start to finish their service verges on scamming potential and actual customers. Contracts are sold to unwary potential customers with price and service promises which are pure fiction. EE does not send out written terms until AFTER the two week statutory cooling off period for contracts negotiated by phone. If you try to complain at that point that the written terms are different from those quoted and on which your decision to take out the contract was based, you are told that couldn't possibly be the case, EE sales agents would never lie, and therefore, by implication you are lying. In fact, it IS the EE Sales Rep who has lied and given a fictitious quotation. They refuse to amend the terms to agree with the quote and if you ask whether the call was recorded and therefore could they refer to it, they fob you off with an excuse like: recordings are not available for customer disputes, only to help EE to train their staff, or other similar rubbish. My advice: don't touch EE with a twenty foot bargepole if you can possibly help it. If you do have to go with them, make sure you get your contract terms IN WRITING before signing up their Direct Debit authorisation which, would you believe, arrives the day after agreeing the contract on the telephone. Of course, they couldn't possibly send out the terms and conditions at the same time - apparently it takes a whole month to process those. It's a big scam to sell EE contracts on false premises and lock you in on terms to which you never agreed.

No stars from me. If it were possible I'd give a minus quantity.

    AVOID.

Disgusted at the speed of my broadband, hardly reaching 0.3mbps. Each time I complained had to go through routines and wait for days to get it working to nearer 5mbps which they are onliged to give just to find that the speed reverts to under 1mbps oin a couple of days. Every time I contacted they were suggesting I should upgrade to fiber optics with additional charge. What is the fuarantee that the speed will be better? They have nothing to offer other than sweet talks when you complain

Router, operations manager disappeared into thin air. EE should be ashamed. Do not go with them

Made the terrible mistake of agreeing to move to EE home broadband based on a salesperson's promise (feel like an idiot now).
EE home broadband is absolutely rubbish. A complete and utter joke. A complete fraud. I wish I had paid attention to the reviews below.

Will be taking them to Trading Standards and OfCom, and if push comes to shove to small claims court.

    AVOID at all costs.

Was great until I moved, been waiting in line for 50 mins and then hung up with an automated message. Then a 25 min wait and no solution to my issue (so apparently a line fault) . Then a 15 min wait and a promise to be fixed a week after the move date, this passed and still have no Internet. Different people who never seem to know their face from their bum. Customer service is appalling. Please go elsewhere if you think you will need to move it.

I give EE no stars, our internet went live on Monday or did it? Numerous calls to customer service and technical in all parts of the country and India to be told so many stories, one being I was experiencing a sync issue and they could sort it, another being I needed an engineer as my internal line has a fault, another being it was because I was in the first 10 days of the contract, and the last being the router is faulty. So who is telling me the truth?? I cancelled as I have lost all faith in EE broadband as it seems like nobody knows what they are doing. Signed up with another supplier because EE haven't provided what they said they could.

Without doubt in my 57 years of age,the WORST Company I have EVER had to deal with. Was miss sold Broadband at our shop,we were told it was a 12 month contract, our fault we signed without reading small print,18 month contract,we were entering into a shop, said we might be there 3 or 6 months. EE said no problem,if you leave early we will only be able to charge the £1 a month for broadband,as you won't be using your landline.Reality we left after 2 months, landlady wanted shop back. EE have now charged us 18 months £360 when we only used broadband for 1 week. The other service at my home address is coming to an end, another £360,when giving notice to cancel as my payments will rise to £30 monthly, the women online has said we have slow service.Unlike their original promise of 3G and fast speed.Been into both southampton and isle of wight shops 3 times each during with ZERO help, all they say is oh,it's not our problem, disgusting company, after trying to cancel with 1 operator for 15 minutes,I then get passed to a snooty manager trying to sell sell sell. Avoid this company at all costs.

I work for them. It breaks my heart to read these reviews. I go in there every day an try my hardest to provide the best level of service possible. Invariably, I do well but sadly some of what is written is true here. The sales and upgrades department is made up of lying scum. The amount of pressure their lies kicks back onto customer services is difficult to deal with. They're not held accountable and you see the same sales and upgrades agents names on accounts all the time. They're hitting targets....to hell with the repercussions for the customer. Customer services will sort it out. If only EE realised their lies actually cost the company financially,as when these issues are escalated, financial remedies are commonly reached by supervisors, it also harms the brand image and how EE is perceived. I believe I am good at my job, very technology savvy but we get grouped the scumbag liars and it's not fair.

    RUBISH CC AND BROADBAND SPEED!!!
The agent I spoke to promised me they would fix this without any charges if I upgrade my contract which back then was about to end. EE is already charging me as a new contract which is more expensive than the one I had before and they did not fixed the problem so clearly they have been cheating me.

Would never recommend EE broadband to anyone, no wonder they charge the prices they charge. The whole thing is a con! We have had broadband with them around 10 months now and had endless problems the Internet itself doesn't even work so we are paying for nothing! The customer service are also just as bad as the Internet we receive, awful! No matter how many times you call them and explain your problems they just fill you with endless rubbish of how they're going to resolve the problem, get a manager to call back or even send an engineer out and we have had none of this happen! Absolute waste of time, energy and money! Which is why we have happily chosen to unplug the router and go else where. Anyone who takes out broadband with EE are wasting their money - over all they're useless & just in it for your money

Why complain about bad service or rude and useless call centres just cancel your direct debit to this company, what can they do.If they are not providing the service promissed in the contract, get in touch with the Office of Fair Trading and The Ombudsman, they will soon change their tune. I keep recordings of ALL contacts with companies who do dealings in a similar way as this company, reading the transcripts of a great # of your printed revues it makes me wonder about the mentality and gulabillty of a lot of people dealing with this company. Just tell them to get lost in plain English (they will understand that even in India).

I've been with ee for many years now but over the last year 6 months the broadband has got worse. I've rang numerous times and get the same answer "working on it" from 8pm to 7am roughly, I have to use my phone Internet as the broadband doesn't load a thing. I would not recommend ee to anybody at all. Excuses after excuses on why they want my money but can't provide the service I'm paying for. Goodbye and hello sky broadband

Terrible experience with this underhanded company. I realised a couple of years ago that we were completely over paying for the broadband speed we had from them. Called them up to cancel and they managed to sell me a new discounted 18 month deal. After 3 months they put the price up when it was supposed to be fixed for 18 months. Then at the end of the 18 months they start charging nearly double the agreed rate and wait for you to notice! Taking advantage of the fact that people are busy these days and not always paying attention to the companies ready to steal your hard earned cash from right under your nose. Disgusting way to treat loyal customers! I shall be seeing if I can take this up with a consumer watchdog or similar.

This was a nightmare to set up. I ordered broadband on the 15th of October and I called in on the 28th to hear their service guide say I'm still on track to get service on the 30th. I wait until the 5th and their support staff then tells me that the order got cancelled because they had tried to contact me but couldn't. I have no record of any missed call from unknown numbers - they did not contact me. I know they have my number too; I've gotten texts asking for feedback after I've called customer service.
They ask me if I want to place the order again and I do like a naive fool. ("insanity is doing the same thing and expecting different outcomes"). I have to wait another 8-10 days for this to come through.
I get a text on the 19th asking me to call to sort out my landline. I give them a call and they tell me my order is canceled again!
I can't believe that they don't have the courtesy or the common sense to inform their customers of such an important change in their order status. If I don't call them, I don't find out until there isn't any working internet.
The technician cannot explain the issue with the landline that is causing the order to repeatedly cancel. I have to tell the technician to stop the install. He then transfers me to the billing department to get my landline fee refunded. Then I get transferred to the service department to get the order itself cancelled. I can only imagine how antiquated their systems must be.

Look, I saw the same deals that you did with the vouchers. I stuck without internet for 1.5 months thinking this would get resolved. In the end, the technician had no confidence that my orders would not get continually cancelled. Read all the reviews here and balance with the fact that most people with acceptable experiences won't post. I usually don't. But this was the worst service I have gotten from a major company ever. Period.
    Buyer beware.

I placed an order for Home Broadband with EE. A couple of weeks later when I checked the status of the application using the online account, found out that they router was attempted to deliver to a wrong address. I did not get any email/SMS communication regarding that. When I rang them up, they said it was a human error, and they will dispatch it to the correct address. Since I did not want to get stressed due to a broadband connection, I decided to go for a reliable broadband provider, Sky. So I had to ring them up a couple of hours later and cancel the open order and after several attempts of trying to convince me to stay with EE, I said I want to cancel. They said they will have to charge me for postage, Yes! for delivering to the wrong address. I couldn't believe it! I said it was never delivered to my address. They said that it was already dispatched to the new address, which is unbelievable that they would dispatch it within couple of hours since I called. I said if it was already dispatched, I would have got an email confirmation like I did the last time. I told firmly that I am not paying any postage to EE for delivering the router to a wrong address and all the time I had to waste over the phone.

Literally THE worst broadband connection I have EVER come across. My phones internet actually just stops working when I connect to wifi, disconnect from the wifi and use my mobile data, perfect connection. I actually do not even connect to the WiFi at home now its THAT bad. Words cannot even fathom the immensity of how AWFUL this connection is. Sold a pack of lies from the beginning and now stuck in a contract with them for NOTHING as the wifi is SOOOOOOOOOOOOO bad I just dont bother connecting to it anymore. Contacting BT as they are happy to pay the fee for leaving their contract if I move to them - anything is better than EE!!! No joke, do NOT sign up for non existant internet with them. Was told connection strength in my area is great, I cannot even attach documents to emails.
