Dies frequently. Currently, my broadband has not worked in 3 days. EE support asked to call back in 3 more days (!!). Once fixed, they only offered a refund for days the broadband has not worked... *sigh*

Unbelievable, i wan't to upgrade to fibre optic, spend 10min on phone going through all the particulars, then right at the end he says "you have to have a mobile phone with us to get fibre optic" what the hell has a mobile phone got anything to do with fibre optic broadband. The mind boggles, my contract runs out in August so will sign up with someone else...

I have been with EE for 6 months after switching from BT.Conection cut off every night between 6 and 8 pm. Customer support polite and helpful but not able to solve problem so far.I suspect BT are responsible as they control the line.

I wish there was a zero rating. The speed I get with EE is 2mb download and 1.0 upload. Trying to
contact customer services is useless, as the sound fades away every few seconds. When I could hear on one occasion, I couldn't
understand what the person was saying. Surely the Ombudsman must have had hundreds of complaints, yet they're still managing to fool so many of us. Is there any help available?

If I could give 1/2 star or less I would. Stay away from EE broadband. Absolutely rubbish!! It's just the worse ever! We've switched from sky to EE due to false sales promises: "better quality, fastest speed, etc" and all lies! The customer service is horrible and their system doesn't work properly either. I never go to forums to post anything but have felt as a duty to let others aware of how bad the broadband is.

I switched from talk talk to EE, I was promised fast download speeds and fast broadband. The price for the Internet has increased where as the speed of the Internet has decreased, it has also become very unreliable to stream videos on such websites such as youtube. A game took 5 days to download where as with talk talk only took half an hour. When on the phone to customer service, they told me that systems were down causing everyone to have such slow internet and it should improve, but 2 weeks on I am still here with slow internet with promises By EE broken. I am severely disappointed in the service that I am getting, I am paying for fast fibre Internet when in only getting 2kb ps which is ridiculous.
As soon as my contract ends I will be leaving EE all together including phone providers.

Absolutely shocking service from EE. Nearly every day i have to re-set my broadband router before waiting a few minutes for the connection to re connect. After numerous phone calls complaining all they do is say that the router is changing receives regular updates and this can cuase it to require re setting. This is the third router we have received and the problem continues! EE refuse to allow us to cancel our contract unless we pay the 'buy out' charge which is disgusting considering we havent actually been receiving the service that we have been paying for for over 6 months!

I can't put into words my frustration with EE. I will never recommend this service to anyone. They have failed to deliver on their promises and contractual obligations over and over again. It took 25 working days to be connected to broadband, that's 5 whole weeks. Then they set up our account incorrectly 3 times. They have failed to deliver broadband and the EE TV box within their own specified time frames because the account is set up incorrectly again. They have applied discounts as a 'goodwill gesture'which don't reflect the payment plan we purchased. It has been error after error from their customer service team and despite all trying to be very nice and polite and provide plenty of platitudes they just can't deliver the service they say they are going to. I have no confidence that the TV box will works or the broadband speeds are up to scratch. I only haven't switched because I don't want to wait another 2+ weeks for another provider to get us connected. Save your blood pressure go elsewhere!!!

EE is an appalling mobile phone service provider and I recommend that everyone avoids it like the plague. From start to finish their service verges on scamming potential and actual customers. Contracts are sold to unwary potential customers with price and service promises which are pure fiction. EE does not send out written terms until AFTER the two week statutory cooling off period for contracts negotiated by phone. If you try to complain at that point that the written terms are different from those quoted and on which your decision to take out the contract was based, you are told that couldn't possibly be the case, EE sales agents would never lie, and therefore, by implication you are lying. In fact, it IS the EE Sales Rep who has lied and given a fictitious quotation. They refuse to amend the terms to agree with the quote and if you ask whether the call was recorded and therefore could they refer to it, they fob you off with an excuse like: recordings are not available for customer disputes, only to help EE to train their staff, or other similar rubbish. My advice: don't touch EE with a twenty foot bargepole if you can possibly help it. If you do have to go with them, make sure you get your contract terms IN WRITING before signing up their Direct Debit authorisation which, would you believe, arrives the day after agreeing the contract on the telephone. Of course, they couldn't possibly send out the terms and conditions at the same time - apparently it takes a whole month to process those. It's a big scam to sell EE contracts on false premises and lock you in on terms to which you never agreed.

No stars from me. If it were possible I'd give a minus quantity.

    AVOID.

I switched over from aol and it took almost 7 weeks to get up and running but I have had nothing but trouble ever since. Patronising technical support /customer service from the Indian call centre who are forever putting me on mute or hanging up when they can't fix the problem of intermittent connection and terrible speeds ready to cancel.

Possibly one of the worst product experiences I’ve ever had. Was told a minimum of 1mbps download, up to around 4mbps. Actual download was about 0.01mbps. (That’s slower than dial-up). Reliability is a joke. At peak times you should expect it to cut out about once every ten minutes.
I can’t rate this product badly enough. If you decide to use it after reading this review - more fool you.

I bought this package as it was only going to cost me £2.50 a month and that I could remotely connect to my place of work. It turns out that the remote connectivity is not part of the package and it was definitely not mis-sold. You can have your £55 EE and keep your shoddy broadband and poor customer service. I'm off! I suppose you get what you pay for.

Problem with the line, multiple calls and engineer visits, line constantly cutting out and stuttering not reliable, cuts streaming off locks apps up, game play hard latency problems, and all this could be fixed by not having fibre to my local green cabinet then an old fashioned copper wire to my house, pointless it's not fibre as a true connection, only to the area connection box then your on your own suckers.

Probably Britain's worse company. Twice they have had me without any Broadband connection for over a month at a time. Lots of broken promises of when I'd be reconnected and customer service representatives that simply lie.
I've 3 old unused routers from them as they kept sending out the wrong one as they weren't Fibre compatiable and they would send them to seemingly random places, including a work place that I hadn't worked at for over 12 months. Yet EE claim they didn't even have that address on their records and were adamant it was sent to my correct address. It wasn't.
Popping into their stores is no help what-so-ever.
Stay away from EE unless you want to end up suicidal.

I recently purchased EE broadband as they offered the most competitive deal. Initially i was told the product would arrive within a week of purchase. However after a week the router still hadnt arrived and upon ringing the customer service team i was told i would not have active internet until the 19th of the month, 17 days afters i purchased the product. Looking at previous reviews I am not hopeful i will even have active internet on the date specified.

One of the other deals i found was with TalkTalk, which was very close in price to EE broadband. If they can deliver within a week then it would be well worth the couple of extra pounds you pay to get active internet within a reasonable amount of time.

Why do they charge 14 days broadband after I've gone live with the new supplier? This should not be allowed - they knew about the switch over date months in advance. How can companies introduce T&C's like this without being stopped by legislation? I tried to time my exit after a 12 months deal and stayed exactly till the end of the term as I was aware of the early cancellation fee. They still managed to get money out of me by charging me for a service I didn't receive. I'll investigate further, there must be other consumers who aren't happy with EE's T&C's.

I was supposed to have a 4GB max sum plan that I could use abroad, however, they never set me up for abroad roaming so now my phone is set to the wrong time and I can't text, call or use data abroad. It's annoying as I don't even get the he message to confirm i'm in another country. The workers also don't know what the he here talking about. I asked about my plan and they said it wasn't for abroad, yet when I checked it was. I called again and they said it was. They have no idea what they are telling thwir customers and are not fully educated in what they inform. It's devestating.

Signed up as my phone is with EE.
For the first year everything was fine, not superfast, but my flatmate and I had no problems streaming tv or browsing the web.
After the first year the speed dropped dramatically.
My flatmate moved out so I am the only one using the internet.
The last speed test showed speeds of 0.07 upload and 0.07 download.
If you call they will run a basic line test and thats it.
Over the past year I have received a new router.
    Engineer visits.
An EE adviser telling me that the speed has dropped because too many people are using it (not true)

In September I had 4 weeks of no internet. They offered me 5gb of data for my phone to compensate - which they ended up charging me for.....

I was with Virgin for 4 years and never had one issue.

Since I got EE it has been issue after issue/

    Huge mistake changing over

    RUBBISH!!!

I was lied to in the store and told after the first 30 days if I wasn't happy I could cancel at any point. This was a lie
I was lied to in the store they told me they would handle the whole process of taking over my account for phone, TV and Broadband and it wouldn't cost more than the £100 cancelation contribution they offered. This was a lie, They cancelled my phone and broadband and not my TV I have Paid £200 in cancelation fees which I had to arrange myself for the TV, In addition they told me how great the Broadband is and that it would be better than SKY, Another lie we don't even get 1MB with EE and struggle to even look on Facebook on our mobile phones!!
On top of all of this the customer service has been terrible, I have spoken to a couple of people who are polite and apologetic but most are rude and not helpful in anyway.

We joined EE, when it was Orange. Straight away we had issues, contacting the tech team was a pain, and constant disconnections during phone calls. Having to ring again, and go through all the information, explaining the issue over and over. No one would admit there was a problem.
Eventually we gave up as we thought we were "stuck" and we had a newborn baby by this time. So we rarely used the net. But when we came to renew, we were informed fibre was amazing. And it would FIX all our problems, and that if I rang this number I can talk to people who were able to deal with it all better than before.
Stupidly stayed! (We did have a newborn...) Problems persisted. We were continuously disconnected, Tried emailing, complaining, ringing. Got no where!
One guy told me to ring BT to get them to sort it, when I was with EE?! BT were as baffled as I was when I rang.
I sent 5 complaints to them, only 2 were responded with "Ring this number to sort this issue" Which I did, and got no where. They refused to admit there was a problem, and when they did admit there was a problem, they never rang back when promised.
    Worst service ever!
Seriously! I was on the phone 2-4 times a week for a month, trying to sort this. and emailing during that time and afterwards. Gave up ! And hope my time with them will end soon!

There has been ongoing issues with the broadband connection that have been unresolved after months of trying. Download speed is only 0.17mb. They can’t seem to resolve the issue. I could upgrade to fibre at extra cost. That maybe the only solution the way it’s going, but I wouldn’t go through EE for that as other providers are cheaper with anytime landline and mobile calls and 38mb broadband speeds

I'll keep this short and to the point.

I've experienced nothing but a solid connection with we since getting fibre with the.

However, over the last 4 days I've experienced nothing short of the worst customer service I've ever had that's mostly ruined my weekend waiting for callbacks

They seem nice enough on the phone, but they cannot sort out basic problems, they follow scripts which takes them an ice age to go through and then there is the callbacks

I've has them telling me someone will call back within 60 minutes twice which I'm still yet to receive a call.

I've had them arrange callback for the phone time (as in am instead of pm). I've had them contact me at a time I told them was innapropriate as nobody will be able to answer, I'm now left with no internet for 5 days because they cannot see its an authentication issue with our account.

Do not go with EE if you want any problem solved. Bring back British technical support, even though these tech supports in other countries are courteous they couldn't solve any basic problem that I could see from the start.

Very poor internet. There guaranteed speed checks are also a scam. They go off the speed going into the router NOT what speeds you get. Was promised 30 and I'm lucky to get 20. Router is shockingly bad. 3 bed house and I cant get signal upstairs. Internet drops out randomly, was told by EE that it was the fastest in the are, also not true as next door has double the speed.

Wel’ EE broadband is one of the worst service provider in uk so far everyone knows.
I been with them nearly 3 years as I had no choice but at the end I did terminate the contract without pay as I stopped direct debit .
i don’t care what action they will take as EE didn’t care about my service.
Usually EE customer service are very poor.
Finally ,I do request everyone not to take EE.

Would not recommend going with EE took package out in April, paying for 12-14mbs currently receiving 0.78mbs. Phoned up countless times, to which every time I phoned they gave me a 'free month' of non working internet. Problems have never been resolved. One call centre employee told me 'I don't understand your problem you are receiving free internet' wether it be free or not I am not receiving a service, I refused to pay, as I am not receiving the service I took out, I have been told there is a break in my line, a BT technician came out, I watched him eat his lunch outside my apartment block- he was sat there for 1hr 20mins then drove off. Supposedly I am due compensation from EE which I am still to receive. When I do phone to try and resolve my broke internet they have me jumping through hoops going onto various websites and are not willing to do anything them selves, when I complained about phoning the 0845 number the rude under qualified employee laughed and said he would reimburse me my £3.45 for being on the phone for 1hr9mins. Overall dissatisfied and majorly regret going with EE, 6months since joining- still no internet, therefore causing me to fall very behind with a £2500 course I am currently doing. Was also told today that I am only likely to receive between 2-4mbs when this is not what I paid for. As they are not following their part of the 'contract' I'm sure there is a way to egg out of the contract without paying them a further £35 cancelation fee. To say I am disappointed is an understatement!

Don't go with EE. They are great for mobile, but the broadband will let you down. We cannot have more than one device on wi-fi, otherwise it won't work. It drops off unexpectantly, and the fastest dl speed we've seen is 5mb p/s, when we were promised 12. Aweful.

Switched from sky after 5 years to save on money. Been with ee for 7 months. In that time have had no connection for a total of 37 days. Have had 2 BT engineers and 2 routers but still problem persists.

Customer service is atrocious. If they can not solve your problem, they will hang up! When you ring back you have to start again. Been trying to cancel but apparently I have to report a fault for 30 consecutive days.

    Do not buy!

Not impressed at all. It's been a disaster from Day 1. Was sold the broadband via phone just before my honeymoon and promised that it would be up and running for us when we return, only to have wait two weeks to be sent another two routers because the initial was apparently faulty. Three or four months later, another random router was posted to me.... Anyway, the broadband has been extremely especially in the evenings which is when we use it the most as hubby and I are out at work during the day. The lesson learned is that you definitely get what you pay for, and sometimes cheaper isn't always the answer. This evening's slow service has ticked me off big time and I'll be changing suppliers asap.

Was completely mis sold by a lady who i was to embarrassed to ask what are you talking about as she spoke so ridiculously fast! I Specifically said I didn't want a higher bill before you know it I had a monthly charge of £10 added on! Customer service is more than awful they don't care about there customers nor want to know the problems you may be having they just put you on hold and cut you off. All in all my experience with EE is horrific.

Its amazing that ee keep charging for service they do not provide. The first time I get ee they send me brodband box and the they told me ready to use but nothing work. I have called them every month and they keep tell me the engineer is coming. The engineer keep tell me that I have to tell ee that they need to open the line. Well people its been more than 6 month they still haven't sort out the problem. They actually charge us for engineer which we did not have or see. So I will advice you people pls dont get twisted with they advert they dont provide what exactly they say. Belive me you will thank me. So dont joined ee they dont know what they doing.
