Shocking costumer service, left me very upset. I rang to complain about the slow speed and internet connection coming and going and after doing the test she said she can’t help me because I got a favourite colour question wrong! But I got all my other details (bill, address etc) right. Then she hung up on me. I’m very upset. This is not the first time they are rude. They sent a questionnaire to rate their service 0-10 but you can’t send back the message with 0, I keep on getting message ‘not delivered’ every time.
I am changing the provider right now this moment. This is it.

yes i made the mistake of joining EE without checking their service review! what a major mistake, will never ever go close to any of their services.
I was with another service provider for 4 years, never rang them for any technical issues related to broadband, not even once in 4 years.

Switched to EE in nov/dec 2015, first month didnt notice much but i think that is where the catch is as they tell you that it take few weeks for the service to be become normal!!!! that is the time when you are out of your rights to leave the service!!!!
The internet is slow during the day, evening/nights. It connects to some sites at time and wont connect to others, total shamble from EE.

People running the service should be ashamed of themselves for such a service! never ever go close to this rip off massive big name under BT umbrella!

Just arrived in London and was lazy finding a broadband operator. Now I regret not taking the time to look up on the internet for comparison. And since I am stuck with them for 2 years the least I could do was warn you against this lazier than I am provider. Should you get any issue, do not even bother calling the CS, the only thing you will achieve is get even more pissed than you were before the call. They cannot do anything: do a gesture of goodwill, pass you to a manager, help you... They will only say they are sorry which is fine, but is not the reason you called in the first place. Hope I'll get my broadband connection one day... you certainly will before me.

We tried to upgrade our EE broadband to fibre, but instead got disconnected. That was 3 weeks ago. Since then it has been a catalogue of errors, misinformation and lengthy phone calls with many EE staff in most departments. My partner has been on the phone to them pretty much every day for the past 3 weeks, often for an hour or more. No-one can find a fix to the problem. Lost the will to live.

Credit where credit is due, I've never had a problem with EE as phone provider. That's why I joined up with their broadband, just used their home move service and every person I spoke to was Extremely helpful can't fault then to be honest. Every issue has been dealt with quickly and professionally.

Cant rate them highly enough, don't understand all the poor reviews.. BT engineer turned up on time, fitted a line for me, within an hour 71Mb line up and running! Had talk talk before and struggled to get 4Mb, constant cut outs, hours on the phone to them with never any help..Best move I have EVER made! 3 weeks in still a constant 70MB, no drop outs, Havent even noticed any traffic management via newsgroups during peak times, EE TV is amazing, I just can't speak highly enough of EE!

Awefull, for watching films constantly having to refresh. For online gaming latency so bad could not interact. Customer service repetitive with regards to performance of service. when I wanted to relinquish my contract they said I hadnt complained enough. Calling meant waiting in quees for twenty minutes at a time to finally be told department was closed. On the odd times I got through I would be cut off, allafter an 9 hour day at wor to come home and have to spend two hours on the phone with EE to diagnose problems with service and to relinquish my contract. service is terrible they ar offering a service they cannot deliver. Would not recommend in my wildest dreams.

Worst internet provider I have ever used, I deeply regret switching to the orange/ee broadband service 4 months ago. I was using virgin media and when I called tmobile to upgrade my mobile they sold me ee broadband with my mobile upgrade. It took six weeks to get the broadband up and running because they did not install it properly and once it did get up and running I realised that it was very slow cannot watch you tube, itv player etc.. It really is like going back to using a dial up connection that's how bad it is!!!, I have spent probably 5 hours and at least 10 calls to them complaining about the service and billing errors, I have now given up hope of any improvement, every time I call to complain I get put through to an Indian call centre for technical issues and I have been billed incorrectly on a number of occasions for engineer call out fees when no engineers have come to fix a problem, as soon as the 12 month contract is up I will be moving back to virgin media they cost an extra few pounds a month but I suppose you get what you pay for, ee home broadband is awful! And they have an answer for everything I have given up all hope of ever receiving a decent service from them and I don't know how they are allowed to charge whatever they like and take it out of your bank account. Anyway Virgin will receive my recommendations and will use them in future

Moved from sky, they sent an engineer to connect a new line which I didn't need. They changed my phone number, even after I requested to keep the old one. They took 5 weeeks to send me e router, after lying to me that it had been delivered to the wrong address and then that the second attempt had been returned. The manager dealing with my case said she would stay on it and update me every few days until the resolution, she called me back twice then I never heard from her again. My speed was 6.5-7 Mbps for 3 months then dropped to 0.3-0.5 Mbps and when I enquirer they said the line showed 8.5 Mbps although the BT Speed test only showed 2.3 Mbps. I have ego monitor the signal and use an Ethernet cable to try to boost the speed....... I Want Wifi You Numbskull! oh almost forgot they promised me 3 refunds and gave me the wrong amount ( roughly 33% of what was agreed) I am contacting The ombudsman to assess my case for an early cancellation of this deplorable excuse for a service...... I highly Recommend You Avoid This Company For Your Lack Of Broadband!!!

Worse than my old dial up service from 17 years ago......

Honestly why is EE so bad?? I have had my mobile with them (orange) for 15 years and have always been pretty happy. It was a good deal, too good it seems. Poor customer service, no-one seems to care that I am 10 days without internet which in 2015 is unbelievable! Can't use my TV as I would like (no netflix or iplayer) and I was left internet-less on my birthday. As my family are not UK based, the fact I couldn't Skype etc was a real problem! They need better training and far, far better management all round.

Up to six weeks ago I would have rated EE broadband (Up to 38mbs) as 5 star, always reliable and good customer service such that I have renewed contracts several times. In the last six weeks my speed dropped 1Mps per week from 26Mbs to 15Mbs where its now bottomed out out. After checks, tests etc it turns out that EE have altered the line IP profile to just above 15Mbs so in layman's terms this is capping the line and means that I can no longer achieve a speed within the sold range of 16.5Mbs to 42.5 Mbs, ok now this is where customers need to be careful, EE detailed in the small print that at busy times etc the speed may drop and detailed a minimum contracted speed on 11 Mbs, therefore their stance is its within contract. I find it amazing that a company is allowed to cap the speed below that of the range it specified when its nothing to do with a line busy, just an organisation treating customers unfairly. I'd advise anyone to check the minimum guaranteed line speed or you may end up paying for fibre and receiving a speed of normal broad band.

I was sold this package, told that I would receive 3 months free and free installation. Neither of which have materialized, setting me back £75. I have been in store 3 times to try and get this sorted and have called the broadband customer services team a number of times. Every time there is a 'new' procedure that can be tried, or I have to contact the other option (so the store send me to the phone broadband team or vice versa). Plainly put it's a nightmare. The speed is OK (not great) and the reliability is poor, over the WiFi even though the router is on my desk the connection keeps dropping. Have to use a wire for my devises that have that option. I would stay away at all costs! Still chasing, will edit if I get any joy.

After moving home i gave ee plenty of notice. Of course my home package didnt go ahead as planned. Ee then confirmed itvgo live a week later. It is now 3 months and still no broadband services. Ee admit they have made a mess of my home and said 4 times they would recorder my line, all they seem to is lie. They have continued to bill £27 a month for a service which was only ever £19 a month. It appears there sales office are fraudulenty placing orders then cancelling them in my name. I have now recieved for cancellation emails and given two phone numbers i never requested. I have simply said to ee i want my old number etc ee then sent me a letter stating they would compensate me once resolved. Surprise surprise ee wont resovle and sent me a deadlock letter in which the onbudsmam told them to rectify my issues and compensate me. Again ee nothing except charge after charge . I think ive spoken 150 different people at ee and seems you go round in circles with typical staff sounding like a training manual. All i want is ee to put their mistakes right and rectify. It was superb until i moved home. Customer service dont know what there doing. Its lie after lie with this company.

Yesterday I was looking around to find a new broadband provider and made the terrible mistake of putting my phone number in EEs website broadband checker. I decided against using them as my current provider still offered the best deal and I have only had good customer service (except for the Tech support, which is for another review...). Today I had a call from EE sales from quite possibly the rudest twit I have had the misfortune to talk to for a long time. Not worth going into but he was rude, arrogant and just hung up without so much as a "goodbye" when he realised I wasn't going to buy from him. Can't say how pleased I am I didn't go with them if this is an example of their customer service!

Very poor service. First joined EE in March 2016, broadband was slow but we stuck with them. Moved house on 8th October 2016 and put in for the house move. EE stated this wasn't a problem and an engineer would be out on the 1st November to set up a new line. Waited in all day on the 1st nobody turned up. Rang EE and they stated a problem with BT and an engineer no longer needed to come to our property, but the line would be up and running by midnight the following Tuesday and we would also be given the 2 months free that we missed. Tuesday midnight came, no broadband. Called EE again and was given another date for the broadband to go live and that never happened. Finally we was given today's date tuesday 15th November for a BT engineer to come to our property to fit the line (baring in mind, this apparently was no longer necessary) anyway he arrived, expecting to be fixing a faulty line which should have been a 10 minute job when in fact a new line needed fitting due to a home move. So the 10 minute job he expected turned into a 2 hour job. (The BT engineer shown me the job he had been given for our property on his mobile and it was in fact 'a faulty line') he did the job anyway and after a brilliant job managed to get our phone line working, but no broadband. We made a call to EE to request they now make our broadband live since we have a fully working phone line. And they decide to tell us now after 6 weeks that we can't in fact get fibre broadband in our property due to there being no spaces in the green cabinet! Also the 2 month free that we was supposedly getting was infact a lie, as during a home move you dont get billed for the time you are without broadband. Safe to say we terminated our EE contract and are now looking elsewhere for broadband. Massive thank you to Neil from BT open reach though who did a fantastic job and got the line up and running.

I am speechless that, living near to the centre of the Capital City of the U.K, I cannot receive a quality download speed from this British Internet EE Company! It is disgraceful.....as indeed is its misnomer of a customer services department. I have speeds so slow that streaming is impossible, emails with attachments will not download or upload, graphic heavy sites take an age to download and it is all but impossible to run more than one device off of the router. Utterly Disgraceful.

The worst service by far I've ever seen! First when I subscribed they gave me a discount which I didn't receive at all. I had to chase them for the discount and after 2 visits in their office and 5 calls to their "Customer Service" I succeeded to get my discount. It was awful experience!

On top of that, they continued my account for one additional month and charged me about £20 for that!

So in general, don't believe EE, all their discount, prices and offers are just on paper in reality you will get broadband much more expensive than what you sign for!

If you liked to be lied, EE is perfect!

    AVOID AVOID AVOID!!
Absolute con artists. Have had broadband for 5 months now and it never works. Have had 7 engineers out all of which "lose their notes" or just do nothing in general. And then I'm "accidentally" charged nearly 400 quids worth of engineer visits that I was promised I "wouldn't be charged for". And still no broadband. And they keep saying they'll refund my monthly costs but ONLY when the fault it fixed which by this rate is never. Have never had such shocking service. Leaving asap.

If possible I wouldn't even give EE/Orange a single star for rating. the customer service is very poor. The staff are very rude when you speak to them. not only that, the staff lie. They say they will provide you with this that and the other however, they provide you with nothing. Th company gives customers false hope that they will try to help however all the do is speak and do nothing. I moved house and had very little to no reception. I called so that the company could do something about the signal. I WOULDN'T ADVICE ANYONE TO GO WITH THEM!

I tried to sign up to a 12 month mobile deal with EE, however after spending ages filling in the info I was declined for no apparent reason, despite having lived at the same address for 26 years and having good credit and all my details matching up. No problem though, as they declined my business I went with a competitor network.
However, depite EE turning down my application EE continued to run security checks on my bank account and took £2 out of my account which was supposed to have been refunded in days but over a week later still wasnt.
I also received email confirmation thanking me to signing up with EE despite the fact that I hadnt sucessfully signed up so had to ring up their customer service number to check it had not gone though (25p+your normal rate per min unless youre on EE and ring a specific number and obviusly I was not on EE since they declined my application).
The agent confirmed my order had not gone through.
However, the £2 was never refunded, I went in store and they told me to ring up. I was reluctant to spent 25+p per min on what I suspected would be at least a 15 min on hold phonecall as it would cost more to get the £2 back than it was worth. I therefore went to file a complaint uising the form online...but wait! After you fill int he complaint form and hit submit the site just brings to you a blank page Every.Single.Time without fail. So it's coded to NOT allow you to actually submit your complaint. I bet they will soon be boasting about how they get zero complaints on their site....because customers are prevented from submitting them.
Can't get into 'live chat' to speak to someone online because you have to already have an EE account, which I have never had and now never wish to have.
So I thought well I'll try via their ceo email since they have no customer service email I found it posted online.......no response.Emailed 4 times.
Tried their twitter 'help team' I sent them well over 20 tweets at different times of the day over a week, one after the other to try and bring attention to the fact that my issue was not resolved. Could not pm them as they have to 'follow' you. They continued tweeting back to answer praise from other users who had posted to them way after I had but ignored me...EVERY.Single.Time.
So, I never did get my £2 back, and chances are they will continue to try to charge me for a contract that I don't have. It's already cost me a fortune in phonecalls to make sure they hadnt put my order through anyway, their communication and actions were misleading and left me confused as to whether or not it was active, and as I understand it I was definitely declined upon application, it was right there in front of me, and I was never sent the sim card for the plan. So there is absolutely NO reason to take money out of my account for an unsucessful order for a service that I am not getting and was rejected on their end.
Just think, if 10,000 customers place online orders over a few days, EE takes £2 from every single one of those and 'forgets' or 'fails' to refund the £2. They could make a profit just doing that alone. And you can't complain about it because they make sure the complaint form does not work, and if you want to phone up to complain you need to pay between 25-50p per minute plus.
Also, beware of this 6 month 'free' sky sports package, which will continue charging you after the 6 months without warning or notice even if you do not use it and have never asked for it. Disgraceful company with shady practices. I strongly urge you to consider all this before signing up with them because, should you run into a problem, even if by no fault of your own, chances are it's not going to be easily or promptly resolved by them and could well cost you a small fortune.

Waiting 7 weeks for them to fix problem, they send 1 SMS every 2 weeks "We sorry for taking to long...We know what is the problem and look into it...We are working to gain access to the side". I know problems can happen, but taking so long to fix it, I don't think it's normal. Aside from that the max speed drop sometime to 4Mbps according to multiple side speed test. Need to restart router in order to get back up to 8Mbps. Avoid waste of time and money.
