Constant problems with speed , really slow. Sometimes the WiFi doesn’t work for a full day which is really annoying & it came to a point where everybody in the house was just using their mobile data.

I joined EE thinking I had signed up to a good deal.. was i fooled.. YES! I was billed a ridiculous amount and after speaking to someone, we arranged a amount i will pay each month.. i missed ONE payment and was then billed 390 pound!!!!!! are use for real? no contact was made.. one text to say your bill is ready, then after been disconnected a letter to inform on that! save yourself debt they don't tell you there gonna rob you!

Possibly the worst service provider out there these days. Was with BT (second worst) for 4 years was upgraded 2 weeks ago to the EE package which includes the Hybrid connect supposed to keep you connected to the mobile network even when the broadband is down. Long story short broadband has been down for 7 days straight and the Hybrid cannot connect to the mobile network, flashing red lights all along. Called support about 10 times in the last 7 days nobody has been able to help, they have also sent another Hybrid connect, same issue, EE literally has no signal... I have already changed provider and waiting for new installation but my advice to all is STEER CLEAR OF EE.

Do not get involved with EE or Orange, not only is their customer service dreadful, the whole company ethos seems to be about trickery and broken promises rather than providing a service worth paying for, save yourself a lot of trouble and go somewhere else.

It has come as a real shock that broadband can be as slow as this with no customer care support and no interest from EE at all once you have been duped into signing the contract. I would give no points or even minus points if I could it is that bad!

Gangsters, mis sold product,terrible customer service, rude and misinformed. Cant even believe they can get away with their conduct. They are the most complained about service for a reason.They lock you into a contract telling lies and then when you want to look into anything or have an issue your put on hold for up to an hour and a half. This issue has been ongoing for weeks and out of about 20 people I have spoken too none knew what was going on and most were rude and kept transferring me onto someone else.Actually in shock that they are a big legitimate company. Engineer sent to wrong address
5 weeks to get a connection and 42 phonecalls
Damage done to business
They never have any clue what the issues are with the service
Takes a day to upload 5 minute video
Engineers do not show up
Call centre is AWFUL
Despite having no service call centre informs me they will charge me hundreds of pounds to leave and they can leave me without a service for up to a month before I can break the contract
Awful company - the worst
I pay over £80 a month for the pleasure
Still sending DPA and personal information to my old address

EE is the worst company I've ever come a cross. The customer service is disgraceful I can get more sense out of my 7 year old son then them. The whole price plan had been mixed up and had to call them 6 times explaining the same thing as the overcharged me for service that was supposed to be free. Every person I spoke to was worst then the last one. Thank god I left during the 14 day cooling off period as I had to be on the phone up to 4 times a day with them to sort out all their issues. One customer service assistant told me I shouldn't leave them as I just get the same service for more money from any other company.....what a cheek!!! Avoid avoid avoid!!!!

Always when I try to call customer service I wait for 20-30 minutes on the line until I get through. The representative promised to call me back 2 hours later but he didn't so I had to call them again and wait on the line for another 30 minutes. This looks like a standard way of trying to get through. Frustrating.

I called EE twice this month asking whether I can move my broadband onto my housemate by calling them. They told me twice it was an easy quick process. I called them today and they said I had to send them a formal letter !!! I canceled my contract completely. Never again.

Absolutely excellent speeds i definitely recommend the fibre plus broadband if you have loads of devices connected to the wifi at the same time on the first day i recieved speeds of 50mbps

Dont use them if you want to move house. Go for virgin or sky as EE moving process is rubbish in my experience.I work full time and am used to getting calls from delivery companies before they deliver so i can go home and not have to take the day off. Sadly EE cant offer this service as they are unable to talk to the engineers. So tomorrow i have to wait in for the enginner from 8-1.

Do EE bother to read reviews about their broadband? I have never experienced such an appalling service and even worse broadband. I cannot believe that a company this ridiculously bad is actually still in business. I would not even rate this one star, there has been nothing that I was happy with. Firstly, the people at the call centre have a tendency to just drop calls after they are bored with their customers!! They would promise to call back and just never do!They also have little to no knowledge of any technology. I feel like I have wasted my money and thrown it away into this useless garbage we call EE broadband. I would never recommend this to anybody. Sort your customer service out, sort your broadband out, your speeds, in whole the whole company.

OK guys, I've been putting up with this service for 4 years. I'm done!!! It is totally unreliable. There are days in which is fine. There are days in which it drops the connection 20-30 times (for like a couple of minutes but it obviously messes up any gaming/tv watching) AND there are days in which it drops for hours.
*They sent me a new router. Still bad.
*They told me to unscrew my socket and plug the connection to the test wall socket. Still bad.
*They finally managed to convince me to accept an engineer visit to replace the socket. Guess what, he came today at 8.00. The socket has been replaced ... the connection has dropped so far 9 times in two hours afterwards lol
This company provides an atrocious srevice, Stay away!!!

I have a really bad experience with EE broadband. I am 6 months contract already and I still need to call every single day to the EE call centre for their make my broadband work. My broadband does not work in the mornings and evenings. I do not recommend to anyone.

Terrible customer service, useless assistance, broadband not working and unreliable engineers.
EE take care of you the first year then, when you start to pay the full price they just don't care anymore. I have been a customer for 4 years and when I have decided to switch to another provider they charged me 2 months worth of bills even if the usage was 0 because the broadband was not working and they didn't care to send an engineer. 3 times I had to stay home from work waiting for the engineer and 3 times they didn't show up.
Useless, absolutely useless.

DO NOT GO NEAR EE BROADBAND!! I would It is appalling!! Crawling pace download speeds and utterly inept customer service. Frequently it is down. Dial-up speed downloads and uploads are impossible. Reviews here are correct, it is around the 1Mb/s internet speed. Laughable!!

After having trouble with other companies want to share my experience on EE broadband. I have been their customer for around 4 years and have never experienced any problems. Speed was great, customer support was quick and friendly, prices were efficient. Would definitely recommend them.

When it works it's fine it a little slow but when it goes wrong you are in deep trouble. The worst customer service ever.
People hanging up on you, consistent lies, poor compensation for loss of service.
You get a different story every time you call - it will be up again tomorrow, it's being fixed now, they've only just looked at..
When it's works it's good but when it goes wrong exist stress, being left on hold, people hanging up on you and lots of lies. Both times it's gone down its been for a fortnight.

In a simple language I should say they are worst . As my wife had ee mobile contract we opted for it. I have applied online for ee broadband on 22nd feb 2014 as I have given notice to sky I got the router delivered advising me that their service will be starting for 11th march I had an email come through saying my broadband will be up and running from 11th with user name and password. On 11 th there was no broadband I called customer service who are offshore and they they had a problem and will be rectified in 24 hrs. Next day same problem again I called them they said they are escalating to high level which will be sorted in 24 hrs. Nothing happened I called them next day they kept repeating the same and at times disconnecting after seeing my no being displayed. It continued till 15 the march nothing was resolved and I didn't had broadband so I have to cancel it.
Worst experience. Never would recommend to any of my friends . Very poor customer service but to my surprise cancellations team was good

Worse broadband I have ever had .I went for this broadband expecting to get a boost on my EE mobile phone but unfortunately they both are terrible.I won't recommend someone to go through this Like I did.I really really do regret but like we all know a regret comes after Someone has been failed.

Switched from talk talk to ee as they were offering a slightly better deal.
initially broadband speed was on a par with what i was getting with talk talk.
However, a couple of months down the line my speed is down to a snails pace.
1.15mb download and a pitiful 0.12mb upload.
Never been in the best area for speed but that's approx 4 times slower than I had previously.
It's also pretty obvious they're throttling bandwidth p2p also just to make matters worse.
awful. Can't wait until my contract is up now. Only 10 months to go...

Almost given up trying to get improvement. Customer service are helpful, they try to resolve issues but it never really gets fixed. Painfully slow loading websites. YouTube just circle and circle for several minutes before playing if I'm lucky. Freeserve, wanadoo, orange were always great, since changing to EE is been hell. Feels more like dial up modem of old. Haven't changed to better cheaper package like I was offered recently to do, but don't want to be tied to contract. Just unsure where to go next. No idea who's providing a good service. I'll wait and see if they send engineer over to check for issues, if they don't, I'll try elsewhere.

Oh dear..I have literally cried my eyes out last night and this evening due to poor connection to my new wireless dongle. I had been with 02 where my dad was paying monthly but decided I should go with EE so got a deal which included the phone too, no issues there. My laptop has taken a beating from my rages of frustration as when there are lights on the dongle there is still NO CONNECTION TO THE INTERNET and it isn't even shown on the list of other wireless in my area. Customer service on the phone did apologise and say Seghill has 'poor service' but I need internet every day for my pointless 5 hours of jobsearching as cannot afford to go to the locla library by bus every day! 02 were actually better and faster than EE and I hope I don't break my laptop in the process but when it doesn't connect even with green lights on it does p*** me off big time as I don't like paying money for unreliable stuff! Hope nobody else has similar issues. Could just be the area I live in. Sigh.

It's the worst possible mistake to switch to EE broadband. Bad customer service and horrible stability (my house is just 5 meters away from the exchange). Used Sky before, no problem at all.

Plusnet & Talktalk can place a cap to prevent use of premium rate numbers or overspending on your calls, which is useful if numbers can be accidentally dallied by kids etc, but EE provide no equivalent.
