If you are thinking of getting ee I would highly recommend against it. I have never had such a bad broadband in my life it's the slowest nothing will download for me. All my movies end up buffering for most of the time which pisses me off. They will cancel the contract for 180 pounds but we want to cancel on the grounds that our contract states we are to get 78mbps and we don't even get 1.2mbps. Please never use ee they are as close to scammers as PPI. Worst service. Disgusting service. There licence should be taking off them.

I've been with EE mobile for years and just joined Home Broadband Fiber 38mbps/dl. The speed is the same as my previous provider, there are small problems I noticed:
- Ping is higher compared to Sky (lower the better)
- Speed is more stable with Sky
- Extra 5gb data is not automatically added to your mobile contract
- Hidden Charges! They didn't say there's a month in advance.
- be aware of shipping and a connection charge of £50 if you don't have BT fiber line. I do have this and still they charged me £25. Sky gave me this free for being a loyal customer.

they overcharge me after I finished to pay my phone, they force me to declare that I was leaving the service because I wanted an inferior services, that I could not complaing beacuase I signed the contract, I did it in the shop in a hurry, as did not had the change to read the whole thing. let alone to understand it, they took advantage of me, never going back to EE, not matter what.

Moved houses. Called them up. They said 10 days. However, I kept waiting around and being passed around for 2 months among people who had absolutely no clue what they were doing. Multiple times I was told I would get a call back - didn't happen. When I finally had enough - at the time of writing this review - they said I couldn't cancel because [insert badly explained nonsense]. I have never in my life seen a company treat a customer like this.

I really don't want to say this because I was so pleased to switch from BT but sadly I realise how good and reliable it was.
The buffering is annoying now and slow. What's going on?

Worst company I have ever dealt with. Never ever go with them
Recently signed up to one of their offers. They said the speed would be between 4mb/sec to 8mb/sec, yet i can barely get 4mb/sec. I wanted to cancel, and as we were just outside the 14 days from placing the internet order, they will charge me £120 to cancel.
There customer support is also terrible, lots of hold time and being passed from department to department.
Avoid, and go with another supplier !

If only I'd read these reviews before I switched to EE! On switchover day I received a text to say my broadband would be switched on 8 days later and a call to customer service did nothing so my first experience of EE service was to lose my broadband for over a week. Asked customer service if they had a formal complaints procedure and was given an address to write to but weeks later I've still not had any response whatsover. Today I've had an email from them saying I've missed my first payment because my credit card may have expired (it hasn't) and therefore I owe them an administration charge. Link to 'update payment method' online doesn't work so I can't check what details they have wrong. I phoned customer service just now to sort it out that way but after 20 mins of queuing the phone went dead. I don't think I've ever known a more inept company in my life.

I moved to EE from sky and was initially impressed with the offer they provided. However, soon i realised the quality of service is poor. Both broadband speed and also the customer service. To start with I tried calling the customer service early in the morning/mid afternoon and both times it took them almost an hour to even pick up the call. Very disappointed !!!

4 stars because Toni at EE was genuinely trying to help. Unfortunately, her determination was not matched by the service. If the broadband connection lasts more than an hour, it must be while I'm asleep or not looking. Changing to another supplier and it really cannot happen soon enough. If you are thinking about moving to EE...don't

Please stay away from EE fibre broad band unless you only use your internet for paying bills online or to book tickets. My speed consistently falls between 2-3 MB for most of the day and only picks up Fibre speed for few hours after 1 am. I cannot use You tube , play online or use my smart TV.
Please avoid unless you are happy to pay 20 quid a month for a dial up internet.

I work away so before swapping ISP I explained to the salesperson I would not be in to receive the router or complete the DLM test (I was assured it would fit through my letterbox) and DLM could be done later. A month later I got home to find it in my bin. After hooking it up I noticed it was very slow 0.572kbps so I called them up, no joy except leave it on for 10 days, I had already explained I could not do this as I switch off the power when I leave. So xmas leave comes along I have 2 engineer visits who both assure me my line is ok and my IP profile is banded as the power was off when they checked my line... Exactly the same as with my last ISP who fixed it in one phonecall, now its my last week of leave (the only time I'm home for more than a weekend) and they have finally decided to cancel my contract but I would rather sit at home with an unusable xbox one and smart tv than be associated with this disgrace of a company. I actually resent using my EE mobile now as its perfect...

Signed up after getting fed up with Sky recently. Had no idea I would be subjected to a non UK call centre whose sole objective seems to be to waste my time and mumble platitudes. Very polite but very pointless and I do not use any company that cant even be bothered to invest in providing support from the same country as their customer base. Will be terminating the contract as it hasn't been 14 days yet.

This is terrible broadband and EE is a terrible company to deal with. The service department literally do nothing except give false promises. The download speed for this provider averages as low as 1.2Mbps!!! This is basically Unuseble. Best advice?....KEEP AWAY FROM EE BROADBAND!!!!!

I switched from a BT service to EE's Home Broadband after seeing a great deal online.
Problem 1 - On my first bill I had been charged £5 more than the price stated in the deal. I had to call and get this fixed. They said this was because I did not have another EE service like mobile, however the original deal stated I did not have to be an EE customer already to get this deal.
Problem 2 - I was also charged P&P of £6 for router, this was not made clear in the original offer. I just paid this anyway as I couldn't be bothered with the hassle of explaining this to their customer service folks.
Problem 3 - On 19th & 20th July I had no service - the broadband wouldn't connect. I believe services were down for most of Scotland. No communication from EE online or via social media to explain problem or apologize.
Overall, when the service worked, it has been OK, not any faster than my previous supplier. But the big let down is the reliability and customer service received - It's been totally crap. I will never use EE after this contract is out and I will be telling all my friends and family to avoid them for these reasons!

I have have 2 mobile phones and have been a customer since 2009. I have ee broadband and home phone at my home since April 2014 paid upfront for the year. and a 2nd broadband and phone at my office since August 2014 On 15th January I called and explained to both Shannon & Samantha that my office was closing on 23rd January and asked if I could have the phone line moved to my home. I was advised that as I already have an EE line I cannot move it here so the option would be to cancel. I asked what the costs of cancellation would be and was tol £26...something. she advised me to call back on the day. Today I called and after 40 minutes the phone was answered by JOrdan in cancellations who advised me the same only he told me that the costs would be £97. I asked to speak with a supervisor and he refused, he was very rude. He placed me on hold for a further 10 minutes and I did not wish to wait any longer so I hung up and redialed. I asked the person who answered if I could speak to a supervisor and was passed to Joshua. After the was I was treated by Jordan I had decided to record this call and informed Joshua of this right away. I explained to him again the situation and I asked would it be better if I cancelled my home account as I have already paid this upfront and the contract is up in April and move the other to my home and this is when he told me that I started up a new contract for my home account on 8th August. This is absolutely not at all true...I did not at any point start a new contact for my home account...what did happen at this time however was I had made a complaint about being missold my office braodband and as a "gesture" Sarah Wright on 23rd of July had changed my package and then on 8th reverted it back..she had never at any point advised me that I was entering into any new contract and i never agreed to any such thing. I had emails between myself and Ms Wright as proof which I can forward. The fact is I only have 1 property. I would happily keep paying as I am and have 2 lines but you will not allow it so I need to cancel 1...My contract as far as I know runs out in April for 1 account and i'm paid upfront so this would be the preferable one to cancel and I am happy to pay the £27 I was quoted on 15th January. I am now taking advice as this is unacceptable.

Hopefully, I can stay online long enough to send this review. Without a doubt, EE broadband is the worst broadband service I've ever had.
Today I am going to cancel my account but I am building up the resources to phone them - always a nightmare and at my expense both in time and money.
I have phoned them on several occasions already and a protracted and difficult call ends with no resolution.
I am prepared to pay more for a better service.
Currently I can't even do a speed test because I get timed out but I might get 0.7 - 1 mb if I'm lucky. When it works a bit faster, it drops out continually. The range of the router is not what is claimed. The whole service is terrible. I would never recommend them to even my worst enemy!

Awful service - slow speed.
Tried repeatedly to improve speed but asian call centre would follow script and when it didn't work would hang up . This occurred 3 times. gritted teeth and endured till the one year contract ended then the day after I left , I received 3 calls asking me to stay with promises to fix issues. the last caller got angry with me when I refused to stay and got very rude. Avoid this service.

Appalling speed having left talk talk. Customer services - wait at least 30mins even then not guaranteed to getting through. Basically conned into a cheaper service now getting speeds of 2-3mps. The disastrous reviews say it all. Think they probably make their money based on termination charges as the service is so bad.

Dreadful broadband. Wireless all but useless as the signal drops in and out causing flakey video buffering. Tried changing each of the 11 different bands as suggested by their help desk but problems still persist. Wish I'd kept my old Wanadoo live box!!

Absolutely horible broadband provider, I have fibre and I suppose to get 35+ MBs but they cut the speed at peak times down to 6-7 MBS which is useless. I have complained to them so many times that I'm now fed up, they say it's a normal practice which it's written in their terms and conditions. I'm just waiting the contract to come to an end and move back to BT. My honest advice for anyone looking for broadband is to avoid EE, expensive and rubbish!

Was once a good broadband service so renewed an 18 month contract. Speeds went from a reliable 38mb to a variable 0-20mb. Guaranteed speed was 19mb. Every time you call customer services you have a 2 hour on hold wait and half the time when you get through they hang up without saying a word. All they ever did was to reset my router which never worked and made me spend hours reconnecting every smart home device. Never got any money back for the guaranteed speed being below the minimum. When I got the email saying my contract was coming to an end I thought FINALLY and have just switched to BT..... Yes EE is BT but £10 a month cheaper and higher minimum speed. EE got the final kick in of course by charging me £13 for leaving the contract 5 days early..... NEVER EVER AGAIN. Broadband with BT is amazing so far I can even watch 4k stuff now while the kids are playing PlayStation online

Webpages begin to load then stop on any device, whether using Wi-Fi or direct Cat5 connection.
Talking to customer services, is so painful, they run a basic line test and then say everything is ok, and state nothing they can do.
I have now tried 3 modem/routers, a range of different DNS servers but the problem continues.
I never had this problem with BT Fibre ( yet they are now the same company ) only with EE.
Avoid !!

This is the worst broadband provider around, the download speeds are atrocious, the connection for gaming is the worst i’ve seen, baring in mind it is fibre. I do not recommend at all, if you are a gamer and looking for good connection go to virgin media, EE are the worst.

Switched to EE broadband, being persuaded by a customer advisor when I renewed my mobile phone contract. On the day of the switch my landline was disconnected for a day. Broadband, which was working well before, is still disconnected four days later. I spent hours on the phone to the "helpline". Plenty of broken promises and no prospect of it being fixed for *at least* another two days. I wouldn't switch to EE now, even if the "service" was free.

We bought the 38mb/s download & 10mb/s upload package from EE and 1 month after the installation date, have only 15mb/s download and 6mb/s upload. We have also had no working phoneline for the entire duration, 1 week delayed installation, intermittent access and several days with no service at all. Avoid EE and Openreach.
