I pay for a fairly basic package which meets all my needs. Being able to speak to a real person in the UK is one of the reasons I've stuck with Direct Save; when I've had problems they've usually been good at sorting them out. Moving house has caused some problems, but this seems pretty general and they've been better than many I've heard about.

I am disgusted beyond belief at this incredibly rude and arrogant firm of sheisters. They speak to you like you are stuck to the bottom of their shoe. They interrupt constantly. They lie to get you off the phone. I have been conned and I am taking the matter to the person in charge of them. I told them I would never recommend them to anyone and I mean it. DO Not use them!!!!!!

I have been with DST since 2007 and have had a very reliable service with just one outage, due to a fire at a London exchange.
My speed was 5.7 meg at its highest and I am now getting a steady 3.4 meg. The lower speeds are more to do with my BT line and exchange than anything to do with DST.
Always a very polite and fast response ro calls.

My broadband is extremely slow and often 'times out' when trying to download pictures or documents with e-mails. Once I started with Direct Save they seemed to lose interest in solving problems and when I enquired about superfast connection their quotes for both the connection and service were ludicrous.

I am using 2.5 years directsave. In terms of overall satisfaction I believe that directsave provides quite good services(4/5).
For customer services I believe that the agents working after 4pm are better technically that those in the morning hours (4/5).
The installation times are affected by openreach works and schedule. I believe they need to improve their collaboration with openreach and have more control on their programs and status.
The broadband speed is more or less the same between companies. The best always for me is to use an ethernet cable, wifi lose 50% of speed (3/5)
The connection is in general terms stable, I think they can improve further on that point (4/5)

Direct Save got their billing wrong throughout the term of the contract then they deducted more than £300 from our account via Direct Debit even though the amount was in dispute. They said they would refund it but they didn't. We are now awaiting the end of the 8 week period before going to the ombudsman

Avoid, avoid, avoid,. If you ever finally get through to customer service they are rude and unhelpful. Been with them less than 6 weeks and no end of trouble, stayed in for engineer, no show, finally got set up 7 weeks after I bought the service, connection was rubbish, speed less of 0.36, called 3 times, each call lasting nearly an hour and still no improvement. Their staff are rude and unhelpful, manager even worse. Please do not waste time or money signing up, you will have no end of trouble

I payed them but they still havent installed the broadband. When I called and asked them they just said that the installation had been canceled. They didnt offer me anything in return. They just made me wait even longer for the broadband to be installed.

Excellent!! That's all I can say after being a customer of well known provider and being totally cheesed off with them, price rises , trying to contacting them spending ages on the phone. Direct save is a pleasure to deal with. We have had no problems, with Internet or phone. They give a detailed itemised bill & customer service have been good . We have just recommend friends.

STAY AWAY PEOPLE!! 80£ Activation fee then 25£ a month , fine until they start taking 40 a month and dont know why themselves lol, internet speed is terrible!! Ive rung them nearly 15 time this year and I always get the same rubbish "well get an engineer to call you back" and they never do! They dont even know how to upgrade me to 100meg lol waste of money useless company with no customer service skills. They do lie all the time and there wifi routers and crap and cut out when they want....:TO NEW CUSTOMERS IF YOUR IN A NEW BUILD AND HAVE TO CHOOSE DO NOT CHOOSE THESE GUYS

I have been a BT customer and found out that there customer service is rubbish .I then went with Direct Save .I found there service far superior to any I have had in the past . They are very understanding and the internet I get is extremely reliable .I have recommended others to use Direct Save and found that they all so agree it is a wonderful service that they provide .TOP MARKS DIRECT SAVE

I hated the experience with this provider and hope I never come across such company again. Can't believe a company like this could still operate in 2017 UK. Charged £196.57 for nothing and then refused to refund me that money. Very dishonest. Stay away from this company.

I've been with Direct Save for a few years now and paid in advance for phone and £1.95 a month for broadband so I put up with slow speed But recently Broadband has been very unreliable Have decided to leave and they've sent me termination invoice of £304 which is roughly 20x my monthly bill. tried customer services to get written breakdown of bill and won't send, ask for manager and none available, also very unhelpful. Worst decision I ever made switching to Direct Save (big joke as cost more in long run)

Overcharged me when I originally signed up, difficult to speak to anyone in customer service and very rude when you do.
Connection itself is horrible, I have to restart the router two or three times a day to try get speeds above 1.7Mbps, I plan on moving house in the next 12 months and will certainly not be becoming a customer of DirectSave, the few pounds cheaper bill simply is not worth it.

Staff are endlessly helpful, far beyond that one could reasonably expect. Spent half an hour talking me through set-up of TP-Link Relay kit, which just wasn't playing ball, but didn't give up till it worked.

Appalling service from DST. Internet not working for a month now! And logged 3 calls with no call back from an engineer. Rude and arrogant customer service ... one of which disconnected the call when she heard my frustrations!
Pity I've only just read all the terrible reviews about DST as I would have never signed up in the first place.

changed supplier. They took an extra months money by mistake?? and charged £19 for not giving 28 days notice. They said that they could not give WRITTEN reason for these errors. Awaiting full refund as promised.

They accuse you of lies when you complain or report the complaint. One of them even said: "I can't be bothered with that" whilst I try to report a technical problem.
