Virgin comes very close to their 10mbs actual speed is 9.15mbs using the speed test therefore I would recommend Virgin media Broadband |

Promised upto 13Mbps hardly getting 8-9 Mbps. Add to that frequent connection drops specially in the evenings. Was provided with DLink DSL-2640R g-router which although does the work but no extra features. XL package comes with free week-end calls to other virgin numbers which we never use. |

Speed is 5 times slower than advised by the customer service. The waiting time to get the broadband working was in total 7 weeks, the waiting time at the customer service line is about 20 minutes (I do not exaggerate!). |
