Occasionally the broadband speed drops down to practically nothing and the internet connection is broken but comes back again after a short delay - this is quite frustrating. Normally I am quite satisfied with the Tesco Broadband

Seldom get 2Meg.
Origional download about 1.8 1,5 Meg.
Nowc an be anything from 350kto 1.40Meg
With a good wind giddy heights of 1.8Meg can occassionally be reached
Loss of connection common at certain day periods and evening,
Conclusion a lousy BT line and too many users on a limited link to exchange about 2 miles away.

Two weeks into a contract with Tesco for braodband and line rental to be advised by e-mail that the cost I agreed to and that they offered is going up in March seems to say the least a bit disappointing. No wonder when I phoned to complain I was told that may other customers were on the lines complaining too. Just a word of caution; what you think you are signing up for may not be what you think.
