Customer Reviews
Awesome service. 13Kb/s here all day every day. Can get a bit slow when downlaoding big files @ 1.14 MB/s and surfing but that's fine. All day everyday local calls to 01,02 and 03 and a lot of country's worldwide thrown in. Netgear router at first was awful but now got Skys Sagem F@st 2504 and never looked back. Been with Sky for nearly 20 years, no need to change.

After some discussions with different Sky help centre staff over a few days my speed has been increased from avge 1.7Mb to 3.1Mb.
Line seldom drops.
Speed about best I'm going to get this far from exchange over copper wires.
Now that call centres back in UK I found staff very helpful but as usual some better than others at actually helping out.
PeteB - Falkirk (1.9k from exchange)
Overall, I have been happy with the Sky broadband service - reasonable speed (although nowhere near the advertised speeds) and the connection has always been reliable.
HOWEVER, all those considering Sky, please be aware of Sky's total inflexibility when it comes to choice of router. Yes, a router is supplied as part of the overall product, but the one supplied is a very basic model and not up to much if you want decent wireless coverage, faster downloads, etc. Here's the issue: Sky will not support any other router; if you choose to purchase a better/higher spec router and have problems connecting to your broadband they will not help you at all. Yes, there are ways to get round it if you Google around, but these don't always work. My point is: How can Sky possibly think they're justified in dictating to their customers what router they use? Surely this is a matter of choice for each customer. Due to Sky's complete and utter lack of reasonableness of this subject I have decided to cancel my contract with them - I'm going with Plusnet. And guess what - straight away they said no problem at all with MY choice of router! (A Netgear N300)
So anyone considering Sky broadband - BEWARE!
