Plusnet are one of the UK's oldest ISP's. Since forming in 1997 Plusnet have gained an enviable reputation as one of the UK's best broadband suppliers. They are particularly well known for their high levels of customer service, for which they regularly win consumer awards. They pride themselves on offering good, honest broadband.
They offer a great range of deals with some of the cheapest packages in the country. Plusnet's Pro add-on is ideal for gamers or people who work regularly from home. It provides a prioritised service so that you have a speedy connection at all times of the day, even at peak times. The add-on also has a flexible 1-month contract, so you can switch back to your regular Extra broadband package at any time.

I have found PLUSNET to be excellent overall - their tech support and call centres are in Yorkshire. They offer a variety of packages to suit all requirements/budgets.
Also you can have broadband only or include home phone in your package. I have not had any problems with them.

I have been with Plusnet over 10 years and can say they have got gradually worse as they got bigger.
There finance section hasn't got a clue. At present they are billing me for a service i do not have. They have charged me twice as much for the service amount I am listed to pay and they are holding onto my money.
They claim honest broadband from Yorkshire. As far as i am concerned there is nothing honest about this company.

If your telephone exchange has been unbundled by 4 or more LLU suppliers it is classified by Ofcom as high competition, allowing cheaper prices for wholesale broadband. Plusnet passes these savings on to customers meaning lower introductory prices continue indefinitely. Customers in urban areas are more likely to qualify, use the checker on Plusnet’s site for confirmation. Due to Plusnet's Price Promise to never be beaten on the price of their standalone basic broadband, in some areas that are not high competition but have one or more LLU suppliers offering cheaper that Plusnet's standard price, Plusnet offers a cheaper than standard middle pricing level after the introductory period ends.
