Promised 6mbs and got 3.7mbs. After speed complaints the speed increased to 4.7mbs but fell back every time after a few days. They blamed my (brand new) router and my house wiring. They promise 90 second call answering but admitted to me that this is an average over 24 hours! Busy times are at least 10 minutes plus on hold. Now switched to BT. BT estimated 6mbs but providing 7.1mbs with the very same router and house wiring and for less cost! |

Been with Eclipse for 5 years. Just looked around the competition due to price and found that cheap packages have related auful Customer Support (TalkTalk, Tesco, Post Office, Primus). In the end I got Business Bronze (50Gb + unlimited 11pm - 8am) for £16.76 inc. VAT. Not bad for an excellent company with fast, consistant speeds (5Mb at 2 miles from a rural exchange) and helpful, friendly, knowledgeable UK staff. What more can you ask for? |

Eclipse are excellent. They are not the cheapest around, but at the end of the day you get what you pay for. I live about a mile from my local BT Exchange and I get about 17.5mbps download and 1mbps upload, speed does drop off sometimes, but to be expected when there is contention on the line.I have always found their customer service excellent and always helpful. people need to be aware of how far away from their exchange that they live, the further away you are the slower the speed will be. |

Switched to Eclipse broadband, then my previous phone provider made an awful mistake by deactivating the line instead during the switch over. So I only had 3 days usage of Eclipse broadband. Still the customer service insisted I have to pay for full month of usage, even though I didn't end the service in the first place. |

Broadband connection has been terrible since switching to Eclipse, customer service have been useless at sorting the problems, can't wait for the 12month contract to end and switch back to BT. |

Good value and superb performance. Seems to slow down occasionally but nothing to really get frustrated about, and it has never, not once, been down or unavailable. I'd recommend Eclipse to anyone. |

Very please except with speed. had problems both with this and service dropping out when an incoming call or fax came in. Could not get them really interested in this until I got an independent engineer in who agreed that I had done everythg corectly at my end (filters/wiring etc) and that the fault must lie with them. They then got an engineer out to the exchange which showed a fault, and since then thing have run smoothly, but it's still very slow.Not even getting 2mbps let alone the 8mbps I'm signed up to. |
