AOL does not provide a very good service it does not reply to my emails.
I find it is frustratingly slow, such that I rarely use it. I was promised an email response detailing a faster service which never materialised. Cannot wait untill my contract is up so I can find a better provider.

the aol system was so slow i often cooked a meal / done gardening before it would sign on and bb connection would cease in the middle of my reseach work sometimes up to 10 times per sessions and when you are promise improved services and to justifly there increase in charges nothing changes, I am with SKY AND IT TOP CLASS SPEED/BROAD BAND AND TV. THE PROBLEM I HAVE NOW IS AOL ARE CHARGING ME CANCELLED CONTRACT FEE'S WHICH I FEEL ARE UNJUST AFTER 8+ YEARS OF TOTAL UNRELIABLE SERVICE AND ANY CONTACT VIA PHONE OR E-MAILS ARE TO NO AVAIL!

for the love of god,don,t use aol,ok if you require extra slow,or just no bb,don,t be a customer of theirs,let aol go down the pan,where the belong,don,t for gods sake give them your hardworking money,you,ll be sorry,go bt or sky,o2 ect,go british always,aol american anyway,support england

I would rather have no internet than be with AOL again. Their customer service is shocking, non of them speak or understand english or even have a clue what they are on about and i found it easier to fix the problems myself than to ring them up. The speeds you get for the price you pay are terrible. Go with another company such as Virgin or Sky who'll provide a much better service.

I have been with AOL about 10 years, it was god to start with but since been taken over gone down hill rapidly. Signed up last year to increase broadband speed to 24 Meg, told I would get up to 15 Meg never got above 9 Meg even at 2.00 in the morning, and am only 230 metres from exchange. Going to change when contract up?

if you want too throw your money down the drain,and have hardly no bb,go with aol,shocking customer service,can,t understand english,snailslow bb,exspensive for a shite service,don,t EVER EVER EVER EVER go with aol,they stick too you for years after you cancel,and don,t even bother asking for your mac no,they get you too phone exspensive phone no,and your worse then before you rang them,go with bt or sky,

Signed up for a new deal with AOL I was told I would get a speed of 9meg But my speed has been cut in half from 5.5 mag to 2.5mg After contacting Aol I was told that a new service has to start at a low spped and will but speeded up each day untill a stable conection is upheld this will take up to 2 weeks to happen This is the latest story from them The last one was the fault must be at your end ( nothing has been done at my end ) I will give it the two weeks and if no better will move to another provider Its a shame As I have been with aol form 1996 But when wou cant get a service you pay for or someone to listen to you and sort out the problems its bye bye

Sinc this company took over AOL its been a nightmare experience and I was one of AOL's first ever uk subscribers, the serice has been degraded substantially there is NO customer service, if you need to change your telephone number, forget it because they will tell you from now until xmas it will be done but wont, the telephone obudsman are toothless grannies you get no satisfaction. one word sums this company up when I go to the toilet, Sh*t thats what they are Sh*t!
