3 months of sub 100kbps speeds on my 2MB connection and I've had it with Toucan.
They charge premium rates for technical support based in India with people who cant help and deliberately prolong the calls. Their debt recovery makes rabid hyenas look like ideal dinner companions. Even after I had a direct debit set up, they threatened to disconnect my service. Then when I leave them before they get the chance they add a disconnection charge! LOL yep you got done. i havn't even heard about them isp's
so one thing to do is go with a company that is well known... and check all information on the package and ask all questions before you order

Ah they are part of Tiscali who are pretty big.
Anyone else who has had problems with Toucan, please see www.toucansucks.org.uk Also some information about complaining, speed issues and choosing a better ISP tata C. |

i have been in discussions with toucan since mid september about slow speeds
in the evening it averages around 25kbps. i wanted to look at the youtube video but the connection is so slow i lost interest i cannot believe i was guillable to take a pathetic service from toucan, there is no point calling the halfwits in india, or calling customer services because all they do is promise a call back which never materialises. today im sending a registered letter to each director & see what becomes of that |
