Hi Livy

You should look at mobile broadband , this works using a dongle which you plug into your desktop or laptop that allows it to receive broadband via the mobile phone network.

We have a full guide here

Thanks

Hi

You need a BT phone line to sign up for O2 fixed line broadband.

Hope this helps

You should be able to make and receive phone calls while connected to broadband.

Have you got microfilters (also known as broadband filters or adsl filters) plugged into every phone socket? These separate the broadband frequencies from the telephone frequencies on your phone line. You should've been provided one or more of these by your ISP when you were supplied your broadband router or modem.

Angry Re: Welcome to technical issues

I wondered who do I complain to in my local area if 8mb broadband speed is not available. If I could get 8mb then my internet would be free with talk talk, they assured me that my area would be changing to 8mb when I signed up but it still is not happening 2 years later.(talk talk did give me a discount after I complained to them but that was only temporary) I have discovered I cannot get a better deal anywhere because I can't get 8MB and it's really irritating.(my local area is GL15 5HG)
