I cannot access support lines.i am left waiting on phone for hours at a time with no answer. I now want to switch ISP provider and am told I will have to pay an additional £70 to come out of the contract. I want to move from Talk Talk because they are not supplying a sevice (severe internet access issues for about a month) should I still have to pay to come out of the contract even though we still have no internet?

Hi
You need to read the small print on your contract and work out what the penalty clauses are in the case of no service and where the point of blame lies. If you are contractually tied to them then to break the contract you will be liable for the sum (in this case £70), it may however be worth it if you require an internet connection and want to switch. Maybe you could give some more detail as to the exact issue that you have been having, and whether you have ever received a service from them? |
