Hi,
I'm in Nottingham, the NG7 area. Although I had some trouble getting installation engineers out, once I was set up with Virgin Media cable my connection's been fast and reasonably reliable and customer service including fixing occasional faults with engineer visits has been very good. My experience with ADSL broadband was very poor, struggling to get more than 1Mbps here and I'm only 15 minutes walk from the city centre. Virgin's size L broadband is always consistently over 8Mbps and often over 9Mbps, proving the change over to Virgin was definitely the right decision for me. Oh and avoid the 8Mbps O2 Access package when you're outside O2/BE LLU areas, it's got a really bad reputation, over subscribed with an 'unlimited' fair usage allowance of only 20GB! Good luck getting connected. |
