hello peeps. Just had to post this somewhere. I recently got myself 3Gb a month on a 30 day contract from 3, didnt work well for me as I used my alowence withinn a week.(I am using mobile because I am living in an remote property with no wired link) Anyway I got on the phone with 3 after finding it as good as impossible to buy a top up on the 3 site. After a bit of department hopping and hanging on hold I was transferd and the nice lady said' ok we can give you 15GB a month for $15 (same price as my 3GB deal) with a 24 month contract'. No way I said 'I dont want to be tied to A CONTRACT'. Ok she says let me talk to my supervisor. Job done they gave me 15GB a month for £15 on a 1 month contract basis. Just thought I would let you know that they can and will give this deal if your polite and persistent
) happy surfing

Thats brilliant.
This is a deal they brought recently and the iPad tariff is the same but tied to a contract. This is by far the best mobile broadband deal right now and I'll be signing up next week for definite. I've been with 3 for a few years now, they're just merged their network infastructure with T-Mobile so the network is top - you can easy get data speeds of 3.0Mbps+ using a dongle. |

Yeah, they are in the process of merging their 3G mobile networks which will give them both excellent coverage and which will be completed this year.
MobileTechNews - T-Mobile and 3 UK build Europe?s largest shared 3G network Their business operations stay separate, as you say, Orange and T-Mobile are hooking up together. |
