Angry how many hours on o2

i bought a mobile broadband dongle from o2.for £30- £15 pm gives me 3gig of download. well just supposing i didn't download any data, how many of hours of browsing would that give me in the month. cos the first month i bought £15 worth it was gone in 12 days.and i didn't download any music or film, just a few bits of software with small files. at that rate i'd be better off with a land line. i'm on permament sickness benefit and want the cheapest internet connection possible.. so much for the goverment saying they want everyone connected. some of us just can't afford it

Swizz, be aware of your windows updates. Windows will automatically download updates in the background that kills your bandwidth allowance. This may be the reason your allowance went so quickly. I have heard of people taking their laptops and dongles abroad and leaving them on to find they have huge international roaning bills when they get back.

You have to also be aware on almost every broadband dongle even looking at a web page counts towards your usage as download not just downloading programs when you are browsing that is involved in you allowance as download i think T mobile are the only one that doesnt charge webb browsing as a download a big yes i know.
