Be careful with Windows Updates who ever you choose especially if you are using a UK mobile broadband provider and using it abroad. If you are abroad for any length of time then make sure you turn of the windows update or it will automaticlaly download in the background killing your bandwidth allowance and almost certainly being charged. I have heard stories of people returning home from abroad and recieveing £300 bills for overseas usage when they only used a little browsing and email.
