Smile What Do You Use Your Broadband For?

I've got broadband from Talk Talk (good service once initial confusion of joining done) I use it for entertainment.

I use loads of bandwidth watching BBC iplayer and listening to music on LastFM and Seeqpod.

I also download the occasional US TV programme and movie.

However, I'm a bit worried about this because 1) this uses a lot of bandwidth and 2)I don't want to get sued. So I've been using Dargens a type of friend to friend java web bit torrent www. Dargens.com anonymous p2p. It works well and is fast and hides ip address but I don't have many people to share with so content is limited.

I would be interested to know what other people use their connection for. It is a pity that it is not like the old days of Napster.

I have not had a single complaint for Talk Talk. My contract has ended and I'm wondering should I change providers. I would be interested to hear other users experience of using p2p and what applications they would recommend. Also, I would like to know what providers are p2p friendly and if anyone has any bad experiences with Talk Talk.

Thanks

Default Re: What Do You Use Your Broadband For?

I am with talk talk at the moment and they have had provided a very good service so far, no connection dropouts and a good speed for my area, even at peak times (which is more than i could say for BT) who i was with before.

It seems to be P2P friendly and they do not seem to block, torrent/p2p traffic.
