Still nothing from Virgin yet, been waiting 4 days for them to reply to my request for info!
And Mr Admin, if you would let me know the location of my local BT exchange i would reallly appreciate it, so that when i call BT again i can say "but im 100m from my exchange!! why do you think i can only have 256k?"

Hi There
Your telephone exchange's postcode is SP11 9NA As the crow flies you are around 630m from the exchange, though the line length will be longer than this. Hope this helps  Admin
