looking for broadband supplier

hi, i'm looking for broadband suplier due to i just move in to my new flat.
indeed, i don't know which supplier is better.
there are two people in my flat (me included), one of us is student .

we don't have any landline inside. i've already browsed some website, but still confused.

all i need is the length of the contract is 6 months (1 year is fine), the speed is not too slow as well.
and, is there big difference between mobile broadband and the normal one?

by the way, i'm in newcastle. and my mobile operator is O2.

If you want to share then you will really need fixed line broadband as mobile broadband is not really designed for sharing.

It depends on your postcode what deals you can get, if you dont want to get a phone line then get Virgin Media Cable installed as they offer broadband without phone. Every other supplier you will need a BT phone line before you can order. O2 broadband offer £5 a month discount to O2 mobile customers.
