Default Re: Intermittent connection drops

Every few weeks the broadband service provided by Nildram goes down on a Friday morning, then for the remainder of the day the connection is intermittent. Last Friday 16 April 2010 we were advised that there has been a router problem at the Lower Holloway (North London) BT exchange and the disruption in service out of Nildram's hands. BT Lower Holloway confirmed our dedicated broadband line was fully working. If we understand Nildram correctly, there is no legal target for what consitutes an broadband service and/or connection. Is this correct?

Any thoughts on why we might be experiencing a problem with Nildram's internet service from the Lower Holloway telephone exchange? What is it about Fridays? Our large office needs a premium broad provider any suggestions who else we can use? Any suggestions on how to follow up these frequent outtages and get an answer? In Nildram's favour the UK based help desk team are friendly, constructive and helpful but on this subject we never seem to get a full answer.
